This article is one of my top three articles. Along with with The Genetic Lie and What is Fitness.

Hey guys! I started listening to the podcasts in order starting at episode #1. Episode #67 & #29 Pat talks about his fitness as a parent to a new child and a year after his daughter was born. My wife and I had our first child at the end of May 2021 and are expecting our second in the beginning of June 2023. I sent the episodes to my wife to listen to, and she was curious to hear about Pat's wife's fitness journey after the child.

Hey guys, I love this podcast so much that once I found it I have been listening in order… EVERY. SINGLE. EPISODE. I enjoy hearing both Pat’s and Boz’s perspectives, thoughts and the level of knowledge you both have is amazing. I have a quick question specifically for Bozman; will there ever be another weighted chin event at the games? Something like a max load or increasing load with another implement? Just curious because from what I gather you have a gymnastic background and I truly enjoyed the games in 2022 and how you programmed them (traversing parallel bars is brutal). Thank you both so much the this content!

Hi Pat & Adrian, First up love the show! Thanks for all the content. I listened to this episode last week & it got me thinking about where 'Zone 2' training fits in with CrossFit. I listened to a podcast with Sean from Upside Strength & it seems like there is a good fit, however it also seems to be at odds with CrossFit's mantra that most training should be at high intensity. Would love to hear how much zone 2 you guys think should be in a weekly program. Perhaps you could get Sean on from Upside Strength to discuss with you?

Love it. I was wondering if you could get Stephen Seiler on a discussion about CrossFit, he‘s a scientist who works on vo2, metabolic pathways etc but mostly endurance sports I think. However, you asked your guest; what is CrossFit missing, how to do it better… you don‘t. You could run more, do long runs and sprint intervals for aerobic capacity. Or you could do hollowbodys and hs hold everday for gymnastics, or you could do isolated hypotrophy work, or oly drills etc. But doing that instead of the wod would just take away the good stuff. All this is just add to a specific sport OR on a games level, add imense volume. The methodology would not change. Twimc; prove me wrong.

Hi guys, I love the content and I'm a religious listener to the podcast. In this episode there were 2 things that were not great although the content remained good. 1. The sound quality coming from the guest was noticeably inferior to Adrian and Pat, I would suggest that future guests are required to get some decent audio equipment and ensure that they have sufficient bandwidth, this was very noticeable when listening in my car on Spotify. 2. VNR is a team podcast and it did not feel good to lose half the team halfway through the podcast.
Please keep up the good work, I look forward to each new episode.
