Storm is literally capable of drawing power of Sun and Stars light years away. With her mutant powers, she and Vulcan are equal because Storm's power also involves the electromagnetic spectrum and energy manipulation. It is how she psionically controls the weather. We've seen her perspective of using her powers she sees the world as energy and manipulates the pattern. So, like Tarn, she can cancel out his ability to drain energy. Leaving their fight to be about HOW they use them with the person who uses their tools more effectively and having the stronger will winning. She's stated in this fight and their previous fight that she shows him restraint and mercy in how she fights him. It's not weakness. Her goal was to show mutants of Arrako that if they work together, they can easily neutralize a threat in ways more efficiently than they can individually. Vulcan against mutants like Storm, Magneto, Tarn, Exodus, Jean, Jope, Cable etc. Will never go in his favor because they will always be able to tap into their powers which as Omegas have no upper limit and match what he put out while also using superior battle strategy and logic to defeat him.

@alancarnell2747 There are levels to all of their powers. Those types of stories I find boring of new Cosmic entity that somehow out does older supposedly absolute Cosmic entities over and over.

Given that Vulcan can control any energy but is stalemated by Robert DuCosta and Ororo suggests that he cannot manipulate energy that is already being controlled. Since Storm is able to manipulate energy and air pressure she is on the same scale as Vulcan and DuCosta has full control over his body of pure energy meaning they're both capable of negating Vulcan's influence entirely.
@You're under 19 don't argue yeah but you forget a few things. 1 those stats rarely change. They might get like a footnote to explain stuff. Interesting. I suspected Fisher King to be the father of Kora and her sister but Rob is the first one that I've heard reach that same idea. As for the future of Abigail Brand along with Fisher King act, I was in the dark but now after listening to Rob, makes me wonder if they will pop up in the Sins of Sinister. Given the connection of Orchis and Orbis Stellara along with Destiny meeting with Stellara, in Storm and the Brotherhood in Sins of Sinister, I'm wondering if they will pop up being a factor for resetting the X-men away from Sins of Sinister timeline back to some Marvel normalcy (whatever that is). It might be that Cable, being an aspect of future time traveler throws Destiny's perception off because, he changes the timelines by his departure/arrival a bit, throwing off definite plans, where Cable has already been aware of Destiny's past actions which always gives him a slight edge of changing some events from occurring. We'll have to wait and see. Good summary.
I’m gonna be real. I love Comics Explained videos. Watching them for years. Well edited and scripted. But if he just made a two second video that just says “Rob Liefeld can’t draw feet” and that was it, it would be the best, direct, and most truthful video to exist on all of TH-cam.
+# for each card that has been moved ongoing on a snap card decreasing in power each turn for Vulcan. 4 card. Vulcan should be able to tap into kinetic energy ranging from heart beats down to movement within cellular structure once written proper. Good call.
When you look at most mutants, They could be made omega level! Alexis power is plasma and Scott’s is basically force. Give them total control of their power, And they would be nearly unstoppable!
Why it look like Paibok and frenzy might be thing sooner later. Got the smoky eyes going on I see Edit: Rob even Sunspot knew he'd lose to Gabriel. Gabriel manipulates all energy, he could mess Sunspot up without having to use fire. Storm has manipulated the entire energy output of a galactic core. That alone puts her on the level of vulcan if not above it
For all his might and "MAAAN, LEMME TELL YA SUM'IN" omega power. -- I will NEVER take Vulcan seriously so long as he still wears that same goofy-ass spandex outfit with a fuckin' "X" on the belt...
Rob, cover Robin’s story where he was on the island fighting Green Arrow’s son. That story made Damian my favorite Robin. Been watching you since the Short Change Hero days. Love that you’ve been successful bro, keep at it.
People do sleep on Storm. I’ve been reading X-Men comics for a LONG LONG time and I’ve followed Storm’s character since publication. She’s powerful Enough to handle Vulcan. Problem is writers seem to keep her in a stagnated state.
Storm is in the ranks of Omega for sure, but there are degrees to their power and what they are able to draw out. Vulcan is on a higher power spectrum, when Marvel wants her comparable Strom has leveled up from a standpoint of self denial to meet the circumstance. Its Storm who is not on the level of her powers Marvel has shifted her to unleashing her power accordingly, yet the fact remains of the power spectrum Vulcan is still higher. Vulcan is a Summers the sons are driven if not hindered by ego, this brother lacks Scott's training which elevated Storm over the years including those she has met, but not over Vulan in terms of power. The Summers are powerful if Vulcan was not hot head, took the time to see how Storm is fighting he could over take her he is a a tool once again so that is not going to happen.
@@justinmcdonald2072 Storm has a history of spanking Summers lol. Rob, I know you're going off top trying to compress Deadly Genesis but if you're going to tell it tell it right. In short, he went after Xavier because Xavier wiped all memory of him and his team away especially from Cyclops's mind. That was why he was pissed not so much about the mission going wrong or the death of his parents, wherever you got that from, because he knew D'Kenn killed his mother cutting him out of her womb. Ijs
U really downplay Storm's power. She doesn't just manipulate the weather, Storm manipulates energy on the highest level. This has been shown on multiple panels. She can easily manipulate the electromagnetic field etc, her powers r just reduced to manipulate the weather only. Plus she was able to easily overpower dozens of the New Lethal Legion that even the Emperial Guards of the Shi'ar couldn't, including Gladiator. She oneshots them all, Vulcan at his best got defeated by the Emperial Guards. Storm has better skills and is more versatile than Vulcan. And yet she has never displayed her full power..
This is Rob Lefield?! Even if he still can't draw feet, gotta admit if he drew this his art has gotten a hell of a lot better, wow. It's funny seeing someone scared of Sunspot without being Reignfire.
Before a comic is published. It gets edited by Official Marvel Chief Editors. So, any narrator that tells its base that's two characters are Evenly Matched. It's because Marvel has altered the Status Quo. Storm is officially Evenly Matched to Vulcan. 2. Robert Decosta . Vulcan, n he would lose. Vulcan was able to shut the powers of Taryn and Sunspot . Sunspots' powers are only one-sided energy . While Vulcan like Storm can manipulate all. I think you need to slow down and read the whole line like other narrators such as Blerd without fear. @Comics Explained I don't know if this would interest you, but could you do a video on The Shadow King in comparison to Apocalypse from X-men? Or maybe comparing Shadow king to The Phoenix Force in terms of powers and abilities/how they would match up to eachother. I don't know much about the comics, but supposedly, Amahl Farouk (The Shadow King) and Apocalypse also has a history in Ancient Egypt, and they both had the ability to transfer into another body, and absorb their powers. Since they are both seemingly immortal, maybe they met or knew of eachother?
Ya, the only gripe I had with this was the Vulcan vs Storm fight. I love Storm but I'm not so blind with my fanism that I'd ever think she could take him in a fair fight. It's just...a stretch and a half.
@@Hunter818 She wouldn't need magic to beat him nor would it work considering he'd absorb it. Absolute zero would kill Vulcan, as an Omega Level Mutant and God Storm should be able to do it.

so good to see sunspot getting some more spotlight
Good to catch up on this, is before Sins Of Sinister and i'm full on into it.
Al Ewing loves to constantly reference and build on his own history of stories but not sure if he’s ever bothered to read, understand or respect the works of anyone else.
I disagree! I think Storms experience along with true understanding of her power she can take Vulcan out!! 😊
😂No
@You're under 19 don't argue no one’s talking about Santa sir.
They gotta stop nerfing my man Vulcan
What If: the Gentle Man had a green lantern ring
Why it look like Paibok and frenzy might be thing sooner later. Got the smoky eyes going on I see
Edit: Rob even Sunspot knew he'd lose to Gabriel.
I will NEVER take Vulcan seriously so long as he still wears that same goofy-ass spandex outfit with a fuckin' "X" on the belt...
Love How Storm dog walks Vulcan
Strom has magic too
I think Storm it's stronger than Vulcan... she could literally drown Vulcan in his own blood
I’ve been waiting foreverrrrr for you to talk about this !!!!!!
At the least she should be able to bring it to a stalemate.
😂😂😂😂
@@justinmcdonald2072 Storm has a history of spanking Summers lol. As far as raw power is concerned, Storm has created a mini sun out of nothing for a planet that will last them for "the rest of their days". Storm defeated the Trion God's and started warping the Trion dimension. Storm summoned the energy of MILLIONS OF STARS in the galactic core. Storm ONE SHOTTED the demon lord Adversary with faith energy... nuff said.
@justthevoicebackup280 bruh c
Vulcan literally controls all forms of energy. Storms powers should do nothing to him. He literally knocked out gladiator, a major powerhouse, with a thought. Why didn't he just do that same thing to storm? And the whole water extinguished his flames thing is bullshit. Vulcans powers aren't fire based, they're energy based. Dude survived a bomb that tore a rift through the universe and you're telling me THIS is how he gets defeated? Please
Vulcan is the best he’s my favorite X-Men his superhero is so freaking awesome I love this character
Come on Rob, WizKid is dope but Eden/Manifold is doper…waaay more than a teleporter, he literally talks to the Universe and asks it for favors lol he hit Knull with a piece of THE SUN man
But remember his power is only limited to his home universe, throw him to another one he is basically useless
Baron Mordo explained please!
Hey Rob, can you explain:
Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie Comics)
Beyond Omega Level: Enerjak(Archie Sonic)
Beyond Omega Level: Palpatine(Star Wars: Dark Empire)
The halle berry slander we live for it ❤
Wiz Kid is a comic book character in a comic book, wow, who woulda thought.
Thanks for the great video
Dope vid Rob
Dopespills and Comic Breakdown who really get the facts straight
Absolutely agree with your take on storm and Vulcan. I also agree that storm is very powerful and also very underrated
Hey Rob Corp. one Question… who comes out on top ?, Donny Cates or Jonathan Hickman ?
Oooh this is getting very good.
I actually stumbled on to this comic and it was really good
Didn't the Jedi do that mind wiping thing to Revan?
Yes they did and after he was tortured by a Sith lord for 300 years it caused him to split his evil side from his good side which caused a helluva lot trouble!
Mutants already had Sword tho, Brand is a Mutant
Yeah, but Brand was also working with Orchis: A mutant hating group. Brand never had the mutants best intentions. It was always about herself.
Dang rob your one of the greatest storytellers
Mutants don't need to be fighting they need to join forces together
Beyond omega level: The divine creator
After all this time Rob Lifield can’t draw feet 😂
Honestly Rob, as much as I LOOOOVE the content you put out I'm starting to get Marvel and DC fatigue😩. I wish you would check out the Wildstorm universe or maybe the Image uni because they have AMAZING characters!!! Have a good one, bro
Facts! Why are ppl sleeping on all these untapped characters? I wish Rob would dip into those universes too.
Is there an age of apocalypse playlist?
the comment about how my mans couldnt draw feet, and that he still cant, is exactly why i come to rob for my comic fix
Hey rob could you a beyond omega level video on Elixir? Could you do videos also on Black Tarantula and Mr. NEGATIVE?
Ya, the only gripe I had with this was the Vulcan vs Storm fight. I love Storm but I'm not so blind with my fanism that I'd ever think she could take him in a fair fight. It's just...a stretch and a half.
Well with the most recent Scarlet witch issue storm seems to have a lot of untapped power that we haven’t seen yet
She could.
@@Hunter818 She wouldn't need magic to beat him nor would it work considering he'd absorb it. Absolute zero would kill Vulcan, as an Omega Level Mutant and God Storm should be able to do it.
@@justthevoicebackup280 I don’t think Vulcan can absorb magic he absorbs energy if I’m not mistaken. So considering how powerful storm is and with the recent events in scarlet witch I think she could easily beat him with some more training with her magic
@@Hunter818 He absorbed Adam Warlocks magic and beat him.
I was supposed to get a rob ring since like 4 years ago more or less and when I told you guys in from Mexico you never responded.I love you anyway and your videos make my life a little bit better, si even if u don't see this I'm glad ur still making free awesome content
Do you have videos on the nova force?
"Rob Liefeld couldn't draw feet back in the day and he still can't" 💀😭💀😭💀💀😭😭
What happened to Vulcan's cybernetic eye? And how was he able to take a hit from frenzy?
Damn is that dude just going to hold onto that turkey leg?
Nvm he got it lol...
