    I worked in a funeral home, so let me see if I can help. One reason you find a lot of clothing in a funeral home is that sometimes folks don't have family to provide clothing or the deceased person may not own a dress or suit. Sometimes, folks come from hospitals or hospice. Batesville Casket company also sells funeral homes clothing in presentation boxes. The shirts are usually already cut up the back. It's easier to dress the deceased this way.
    Cremains and headstones? You got that one. If there is no family left or any remaining balance is not paid to the funeral home, those items do not leave until all bills are paid. I'd like to see the state step in and at least bury those like you just found.
    The coffin for children you found is actually called a casket. A coffin is shaped differently.
    The orange funeral stickers go in the hearst and all family car windows. The others are given to the motor escorts that race ahead of the procession to hold traffic. All other vehicles, in AZ where I live, require all procession cars headlights, to be on at all times.
    The Septisol is a vacuum operated system that allows a funeral director the ability to introduce a very strong antiseptic into the body to help keep those that handle the body from coming into direct contact with bodily fluids or diseases.
    Not all funeral homes have a crematorium. Once the body is handled, it is shipped to the crematorium and returned back to the funeral home.
    They still make velvet caskets. Probably a model phase off.
    The samples you found are for a vault. It's a concrete box that the casket is placed into in the ground. Keeps the graveside from collapsing at the cemetery. No one wants to see that.
    Great video, guys. I hope I could shed some light. Cheers

      There is an EVP : "HELP!"
      Unless they inserted it in which I don't think they did.

    Funeral homes usually did not have crematories back in the day and was done elsewhere and brought back Those "coffins" are called Ziegler cases used for international shipping or to control odor for decomp cases. The cooler is not a freezer typically runs between 35-40 degrees. I am happy to consult as a funeral professional with 30 years experience.

    This place was full of things and interesting items you don't normally see unless you work in that profession. You took your time with the filming/editing, Thank you for that! I see another "strange things found" list in the future. The velvet caskets reminded me of the Adams family. Shout out to the crew in this explore. A Real Good vid Lord!!

      Do you know you captured an EVP? THE EVP: "HELP!"
      Did you insert it -- or just somehow missed it--
      I'll go back to your video now. If I catch any more EVP's. I'll post them

    Interesting video that he found this place the only problem is he's covering his face not to catch germs but yet his hands are touching everything with no gloves on that's really taken a very big chance we may not see him anymore 😮

      If hes been a good person then his prints arent in the system. If for some reason cops wanted to take this guys prints from the abandoned place, theyd have to find him and bring him in for questioning and have a legal right to finger print him. Why would the cops go thru all that? Why would this youtuber b in trouble? Hes just exploring abandoned private properties, all the most will happen if hes caught is banished from the site

    I find it concerning that the electricity is still on. Presumably _someone_ is paying the bill otherwise the city would've shut the power off. That funeral home is dilapidated and neglected but may not actually be officially "abandoned."

    • @TessaSmith-rg5ji
      @TessaSmith-rg5ji 6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      no. not every abandoned place loses power, sometimes depending on the state; it takes years months, decades for the city to catch up to 1 abandoned funeral home or 4. Michigan currently has like 5 that has power but isn’t owned.

    After working in a funeral home for 9 years, there’s a lot that is easily explained. FH store clothes for people who have prearranged funerals. White shirts are kept on hand for families who want one but don’t have one. Sometimes what is brought in doesn’t fit. Microwaves don’t mean anything. The family lounges always one.
    Most disturbing is the grave stone from the ‘80s. It is a free marker for service people from the government. That stone should be given to the cemetery where this hero is buried. Could cross reference the name to find final resting place.
    Cremains are not creepy. Sometimes families don’t come back for them.
    That many caskets isn’t too surprising. Always a casket showroom and caskets ordered. Why so many weren’t used is surprising.
    Good luck on your adventures and stay safe.
    BTW I spent a lot of time in the FH alone during the day and after dark. Never afraid or creeped out. The deceased are still just people, someone’s loved one.

      @jenniferrahm6450 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Also every FH does not have a crematorium. And they’re called retorts not incinerators.

    LISTEN CLOSELY!!! After you hear; " LOOK AT THIS DOOR-- YOU HEAR A WEIRD VOICE SAY; HELP!"😯
    SOUNDS LIKE AN EVP

    • @Ferocious_Fairy
      @Ferocious_Fairy 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I think it sounds like that girl's voice whose in the video and she probably made a noise kinda like "Oww." I relistened a couple times and didn't hear "help" so I don't think it's an EVP. I'm not sure what you're talking about at the 2nd time stamp at the very end. I have my volume full up and didn't hear anything else, just his voice.

    Bro, I'm not going to lie, It's disgusting that you're touching some of this without gloves, especially in the mourge. Blood carries more diseases than basically anything and it's generally a gross enviroment either way
    Also, a lot of those caskets you see sitting around and the child ones you touched were likely used for numerous funerals for patients that were going to be cremated after

    They are called Cremators not incinerators and girly with the nose ring that is to big for ya face they don't cremate people in mesh baskets.

      Actually, the facility is called a crematorium. Here are the current acceptable terms for such a facility; Cremation chamber: The chamber where the cremation process takes place
      Retort: The machine where the cremation takes place
      Cremator: A furnace used to cremate a body
      Incinerator: Another term for a cremation oven
