Growing up in the eighties I spent pretty much all of my money buying tapes. I had over 500. They were pretty much all eighties hair metal and thrash metal. My parents always told me things run in cycles and seeing vinyl and now cassettes coming back I see what they meant.
For sure, I feel like a lot of 90's and early 00's fashion I wore as a kid are coming back too. Everything does eventually cycle back around.

Wow! Such an awesome Cassette tape collection ! Haven't seen to many Cassette tapes here in Honolulu Hawaii. I have a few somewhere under the house in a double Cassette case, but if I recall my Cassette tapes in that case are all Hawaiian music 🎶 , from the early 1980's. I think I have a few Rock & Soul music ones stored in a tiny box under the house too.

Hey that Garth Brooks album was my first cassette this year. I really just picked it up at a thrift shop for fifty cents so I could test out a tape deck I had recently acquired. But lo and behold, I thought the same thing,, "this is not half bad!" lol who knew. Guess I need a slightly more open mind towards country 🤠
I used to have about 200 cassette and glad they are still collected! thumbs up! Trish
I think tapes are slowly making a comeback. I remember having a few as a child. I was getting into music around the time CD's started to push tapes off the market. It's fun to see them coming back.
Hi,cool collection.
Decided to sell my very big collection of 1000 cassettes from late 70's to mid 90's,all genre's of rock and metal,a library you could say.
Was offered bulk price but went with long haul 50% split on individual tapes with a long time dealer.
Is going way better than expected and it's surprising how much people will pay for certain titles that are 30-40 years old.

i was born in 1992 so i JUST remember tapes from childhood nowadays all my music is cassettes and records mainly grunge rock hair and female country
