Thank you again for this conversation. The last part of this episode really spoke to what I’m dealing with in this season of my life. I married into an Enmeshed family and it’s been very hard to watch the relationship I thought I had fad away. Their love toward me was conditional and based on what they could get from me, or their ability to control me. Very toxic. I am working very hard not to weigh my children down with my decision to distance myself because I want them to decide what kind of relationship, if any, they want with their grandparents, aunt and uncle. So I’m not the only one dealing with losing relationships based on the healthy changes I’ve made for myself. Recovering people pleaser and still in my own journey of healing and getting unstuck! I am grateful for the opportunity to learn a healthier way of living. Thank you Ms. Terri and all the guest on your show🙏🏾
