Hey Colm, I'm learning this song, and others from QOTSA, and I have the basics down. When your learning a song, I know you said it's by ear which is how I learn as well. But, once you hear a part you haven't played before, how do you break it down to learn it? Do you transcribe it, slow it down, etc... I'm trying to figure out a couple fills from other songs to and any tips would be cool. Thanks man.

Man I can never understand this copyright crack at all. Its a load of bollox, most of my songs are blocked on mobiles and other devices.
Same for anything by Zeppelin - i did two Zep covers and both are blocked 'worldwide'. Some copyright holders are more aggressive than others.

Definitely not as raw, the studio drum sound is super over-produced, which isn't that bad. Jon definitely knows the feel of the songs and excels.
