@Lothar Lustig Events that are possible will happen eventually-therefore anyone wanting to claim the Bible has made accurate predictions-and that this is proof of a God-will have ample opportunity to point to something that can be said to be what was "predicted" in the Bible-and pretend that because it coincides with what someone "predicted", they must be connected. And the music is brilliant. I used to listen to a radio station in Dallas that played Pianism, which remains a favorite many years later. Michel - it was only a short time, but thanks for showing up!
Michel was a child prodigy. His command of the keyboard was extraordinary and his contribution to jazz unforgettable. Michel's character was truly noble as he battled the pain of his disability in pursuit of the love of music. In some way however, he lived a charmed life when one considers how many people in this world are plagued with the same disease but who have no outlet or talent to fall back on. Those people are never heard from nor praised in the public forum.

Michel Petrucciani was truly a remarkable musician and human being , playing the piano , which seemed effortless..... all the while enduring pains in his arms due to his dehabilitating disease . He possessed one of the fastest lightning right hands , and he will forever be remembered as a true jazz legend. Beautifully accompanied by the master Miroslav Vitous on uprightbass and the legendary and always tasteful drumming of Steve Gadd .

What incredibly smooth perfection and delightful piano playing! Loved it. So sad he died age 36. What a gift he was.

Killer trio. Couldn't stop watching, and I have the attention span of a traffic light.
Un jeu d'une clarté et d'une couleur magnifique. Décidément dans le monde du jazz tous les Michel are GREAT.
The musicianship here is OFF THE CHARTS!!
What a breath of fresh air! Thank you so much!
After "My Funny Valentine," I almost stood up and cheered. I really wanted to. Okay, I did. LOL ... and thanks again! 😘
Extraordinario músico. Un gran sentido estético - musical en su interpretación que dan un sonido inigualable. Un agrado escuchar a este extraordinario compositor y ejecutante del piano.
Hey, TH-cam programmers! That "gap" @ 1:49 is not a song break. It's Mr. Petrucciani reaching the piano after an announcement. Re-write your code for this video--at least let the music start before you interrupt.
I love Steve Gadd!
As do I
Magnifique Trio et phénoménal ! Un grand bravo ! Merci JazzGreen et TH-cam :-)
You're welcome. Keep following to our channel.
How can this not be one of the greatest sessions in music,i mean you've got 3 of the greatest musicians in their respective art !! Please take note youth of America !
