I've made this and in the last 10 minutes or so have added either capsicum or zucchini. Turns out perfect everytime. Even shared it with my vegan friend, who makes it regularly.

I grew tomatoes last summer and made this recipe on a large scale. I had 30kg of tomatoes. I froze most of it and defrosted it as necessary. Beautiful sauce :)

She's great about all the components, but I'm afraid that it reduced down till it turned "dry." Bet it would be delicious if it were "thinned out" with some wine/water. As is, it looks like a perfect topping for things because it's practically, solidified. Having said that, slathered on some thick, toasted bread would be something wonderful! No mess because the sauce is so thick! Toast the bread. In the final minute, lay down a thin, layer of mozzarella cheese and put under broiler until melted and just starting to bubble. Remove from oven and slather warm, tomato reduction over the melted cheese. That would be wonderful and not messy at all because the sauce isn't "runny."

This recipe is very different than traditional ways how it is prepared in Italy, Greece or Croatia.

No tiene Ashé! I don't see a connection with the cooking process she seems distance like a lady of the house who goes to the kitchen to do a little something to show up, she has no relation with the kitchen environment.

No personality? I'm more interested in what a person says than the way in which they say it.
