Who-Mousse Ingredients:
- Tar-heeni
- Sessamayy seeds
- Chickpeas
- I can't be bothered to list the rest
😂 I was cringing at all of these, too!
Sesamay seeds and who mousse, lol
Who moose, what moose? That moose. Where moose? There moose!
there's a moose , loose...aboot this hoose
Hoo-moose ? Special ? Wot happened to her fab posh kitchen, she use to have.... Money a bit tight now, Delia ?
what moose? who moose?
LOL
What's that little blender she uses ? I want one as I only ever cook for 2 people maximum anyway.
"the joys of freezing" I died! Also, as if no one else has said this, Dan and Phil sent me here. :)
I'm totally addicted to Hummus, especially if it's spiced up with chili or wasabi... it's my favourite type of junk food now and goes extraordinarily well with falafel or bread, beer and movies :-)
But I disapprove of the pita bread flewn in from Greece. I know chick peas don't grow where I live, but bread? Ever heard of ecological footprint?
This makes me want to have a dinner party now 😂
delia you are so inspiring

it is not pronounced like that nor is it hummus it is houmous i went to school in the middle east for 5 years.
Omg they played bjork briefly
Delia Smith is the British version of Julia Child: unpretentious cooking with focus truly on the food.
Lol! Who Moose. Reminds me of when Harry Hill made fun of her for pronouncing it like that.
Whats Who Moose????
hahaha
who-moose? me moose? i feel that nobody in the comments has seen the harry hill psstake of this.
Hoo moose :P
Delia gives the quantities for everything except the chick peas. Anyone know how much to use for this recipe?

You are my favourite.
has she never heard of tinned chickpeas?
It should be spelled 'houmous', but pronounced 'HOU-muss'. Pronouncing it 'hou-moose' is pretentious; spelling it or pronouncing it 'hummus' is American and should be avoided unless you are American. Spelling it 'humus' is just plain wrong; humus is a layer of soil.
Who moose?
Of course, nothing at all. I didn't say there was. I said the American pronunciation should be avoided *unless you are American*. There's an American spelling and pronunciation of the word, that's fine. For Americans. But other English-speakers shouldn't use them, especially not British English-speakers. Each to their own. But please, keep your usage of English to yourselves.
freaking deila smith houmous and pitta bread!!!
Who moose!
That isnt just a Houmous and pitta bread.Thats a freaking delia smith Houmous and pitta bread
@Fantic1980
Because some people actually like to make things. And unless you want to grow, dry, soak, and cook your own chickpeas, you have to buy them.
Happy 80th birthday 🎂🥳🎉🍾 Delia Smith
that looks sooo good. I have to try this!
love Delia :)
Lol Dan and Phil xD
Deliah needs to go to Tesco. They have this new dumbfangled thing called cans. :)
More salt garlic some lemon juice and I’m all in.
Yeah I wondered that. It must be ok to use tinned chick peas??
@HopeJamerson Yes, although you will need to rinse them lots of times

2 whole cloves of garlic is too much, and it's better to add the water as you're blending it, not afterwards.
Im gutted Deliah spent most of the video making the slops and then instead of showing us how to make pitta bread used store bought stuff from Greece of all places. I'll never be able to think of Deliah the same way again
"It's a bit nutty..."
