I am going to show you the build I am using and tell you everything I can think of that can be useful for building outlaw character.

Very nice video. I played as an Outlaw first time. Used shotgun III most of the time. Cheaper ammo. Earning lots of money was pain in the butt. And i like single shooting weapons without knockback ;)
On steam, the "learn all outlaw skills" achievement is the one people got the least.
I get the feeling outlaws arent very popular 🤔
They don't have fancy spells. It just boosts to dmg/defense so the gameplay might be a bit boring compared to other factions.
They are also the weakest faction because stims can be used and crafted by other factions as well, weapon dissaembly is usless and so is ammo crafting.

Outlaw was my second playthrough after Berserker and out of all the factions, Outlaw seemed to be the easiest.

What do the outlaws have that the others dont have?
@@martinerhard8447 Well, I've done five playthroughs in total (basically one for every choice) and as I said, Outlaw was my second, so I wouldn't neccessarily put it on experience.
It's been quiet some years since I've played Elex the last time, so please don't quote me on that, but if I remember right, the Outlaws have the super-chems with like +200% dmg output and also insanely powerful weapons like the Widowmaker.
My favourite weapon was the heavy flamethrower, though. There were fights that took me about 10 tries as a Berserker or Cleric, but as an Outlaw with those chems and the flamethrower, I basically chilled in the back and did it with one hand first try without losing any health.

Body Chemistry makes chems stronger each level people never talk about it though and add time to last longer. best class 50% + 50% other classes 100 boost ....Body Chemistry 3 200% boost damage "Mind Changer
Mind Changer effect is damage boost
I like Nuclear Craft most. Cause of the shining effect. Also I choose the part without Elex Drinks. Just to make it more challenging. And went though STR + Dex with Chain Saber 1-3. And ranged Weapon, I could use some Spear Guns. The best spear gun, that you should upgrade to level 3, is at the bar. If you give him 300 elexit for the randon weapon. I also had no trouble beating all the monsters, and could beat Golems at level 14.

I finished 3 Times. But played the early game about 5-6 times, without finishing. Always on Hard. I prefer hard over ultra, cause ultra has only more HP mobs and it just endure the battle.
You have all the abilities. Wow. You must have been drinking a lot of Elex Drinks.
Is Radioactive melee good for quick kills?
Mire, if you were wanting to play a full melee run who is the better faction? Outlaws or Berserkers?
I saw something about an EXP penalty to chem usage? I’m fairly new to the game
There is no penalty for chem if you are outlaw. That is only for low level chems that all faction can use.
Well you will get more out of Berserkers early on since there spells are mana based and you can always cast buffs where with outlaws you probably wont use chems right away and you have to think about if it wort using chem if there are just few mobs. However in mid to end game outlaws are going to be more powerful since they have double dmg chem and in mid game you will have money to throw on chems assuming you get animal trophies or use some other way to make money.
If you don't care about the lore of faction and general vibe then if you want to join a faction as soon as possible go berserkers. However if you want to explore the game and do talking quests in all the towns and you join faction late in game then outlaws are much better.
Also you can watch Berserkers and Cleric builds guides when they are out maybe will help you decided :)
Last advice don't stress about it :) Just go with what feels more fun and enjoy the game.
@@Rognnar Technically other factions can also craft the double damage chem as the recipe can be found in the world. So all you gain by going Outlaw is the no xp penalty but than as Berserker you get +50 melee damage for basically free than for the really tough mobs just use the chem and suffer the 50% xp penalty, which isn't that big of a deal as most of your xp will come from quests anyway. Basically the xp penalty from chems is only bad if you constantly spam them, which you shouldn't need to do for any class. That's why Outlaw is by far the worst faction, its only real bonus is no xp penalty for using chems, the chems themselves are widely available to all.
@@Owlr4ider hmm did you find the recipe I tot you can only get it as outlaw? And where is it :) One thing outlaws can use multiple chems at same time you can't do that as berserker. That might be a why you would join them over berserkers. My personal opinion is that you would go berserkes for early game if you join them right away you get really nice buffs that only use mana and If you want to clear all the quest before joining a faction then outlaws might be fun option. If you join outlaws early you don't get anything since chems are expensive.
@@Rognnar Some I found in the wild others I could buy from Doc, even as a Berserker, so you definitely don't need to be an Outlaw to use even the best chems. True you must be an Outlaw to use 2 at the same time but than the double damage chem combined with +50 melee/range of Berserker/Cleric is more than enough for the hardest of fights. Berserkers are simply the best class to melee with, and though some of their spells are lackluster for melee(like the bow skills) and certainly inferior to Clerics you can get single use Alb spells from all the converters and stuff to do the same thing as the Cleric spells.

Did you also start your playthroughs on ultra or did you turn it up later? I started in my first playthrough on ultra and its quite a chore, as Enemies are just "sponges". Additionally i feel that i have to restrict myself even further, as I want the "warm"-ending, which requires cold value irrational and prevents me from using elex portions.
I started on ultra and played only on ultra for whole playthrough. As long as you do a bit of talking quests first do get XP and spend points in one area aka melee or range combat not a mix then you will be able to finish the game with ease even with out high cold value. That what I did in zerk playtrough. One other thing joning faction early is huge boost since you get access to skills and better armor. On zerk melee buffs are insane early on and clerics are OP for range.
@@Rognnar Thank you for your answer. Do you have a rough estimation how many elex potions you can drink as outlaw when you wanna have the warm ending? In one of your videos, when you drink 300 potions, I observed how the coldvalue changed and it confirmed the information I had. 1 Potions seems to make 0.1 coldvalue. You start on 50. You need to reach 20 or lower to get the warm ending. So If I can reach, lets say 15, I have 20-15=5 value of room to spent on potions, means 50 potions. The thing is I want to know it early on, to push myself with attributes, so the game is more enjoyable on ultra. I don't wanna wait 40+ hours into the game. Have you any a idea how low you can get the coldvalue over a playthrough?
@@yosoy1loco I think I covered that in this video: th-cam.com/video/y_CWCAZWpLg/w-d-xo.html That said it was 4 years ago my memory is a bit fuzzy :D There a lot of quest that lower you cold value but that means you are limited to chooses warm if you go and drink a lot of elex drinks early on. One thing you don't really need that many elex drinks to be OP. I think devs did not balance the game around elex drinks. Since you can beat the game on ultra with out single elex drink. Its somewhat challenging but not hard at all. If you max out stats with elex drinks the game is joke :D
TLDR; Use drinks after you turn in a quest that way you can always keep cold value in range you want it to be. And save before you turn in quest so you don't mess up your chaise.
@@Rognnar Thanks for your answer! The tip with the quest-potion balance is well meant, but unfortunately I am aiming for "20 irrational" that I have to reach first. But I want to take potions as soon as possible to get out of damagesponge-territory. Nevertheless, your comment about not needing a lot of potions is probably correct. Between 50 and 100 would be more than enough for endgame, and drinking 10-20 at the start would get me rolling.

@@yosoy1loco Yeah I'm still in to elex :D Elex 2 should be out for new year maybe. I actually hope it get delayed since I don't have time to play it atm. I'm in process of switching jobs. Use to do electronics ( industrial automation ) but company that I worked for went bust blame rona. Tho is ok it was good kick in butt to go and study for programming career I wanted to switch even before rona. So it's bit crazy now first priority is to study >>> find job >>> play Elex 2. I'll definably play it just not sure if I'll have time on day one of launch.

It is outlaw axe upgraded to level 3. You have to be an outlaw to get it to level 3 with crafting. Every faction can upgrade there weapons. Alternatively there are a few level 2 weapons in world that can be used if you have not picked a faction. When you join faction of your choirs buy or find faction specific weapon that is level 1-2 then learn a skill to upgrade it.

hmm not sure what you mean :D Where exactly in video did you see that? The dmg in inventory 3:14 is 100. If I'm doing more dmg in combat is chams from outlaws that boost dmg.
