G'day Mike, Music reactions and now branching out into comedy skits, great to see. When you start diong Movie reactions make sure one of the early movies you do is "The Castle".
@turdferguson400 thankyou for your comment and fascinating story. I worked for years as a station hand, married a Flinders Ranges station owner's daughter and there are still Hayward's in the area. For some strange reason I can't reply to your comment directly but I can add new ones, ergo this reply
We Australians can be a tad sarcastic/ironic in a good way... for example.. You ask - "How far is it to Sydney?" answer - "Oh it's not far" "How long will it take to get there?" - "Oh, not long" "What is the shortest way to get there" - "Oh, that depends on which way you go" "I'd rather go the quickest way" - " Oh, then don't walk it, go by car"
To be fair, Mike didn't really talk about politics, just that he didn't agree with his (Gabriel's) politics. No specifics were given, he didn't state his beliefs.
Sorry Mike, that statement, "I don't necessarily agree with his politics" right off the bat, is not something most Aussies would say. If U r a good bloke you generally are all right with us. Politics is more of a personal choice here and most people don't talk about it. Unless someone is really extreme, then you may get someone's back up. No politics or religion to be discussed in pubs.
@56music64 Having said that, I’d like to hope that most Aussies wouldn’t go up to a complete stranger on the beach and go ‘Hey, somebody help me get ‘im back into the water’… 😂😅🤣❤
Mike, this is a completely off topic question, which I'm posing to you as a USA police officer. I live in regional, rural Australia, Flinders Ranges of the South Australian outback to be more precise. When I need tyres I get the most affordable quality that suits my budget at the time. This means that depending on sale prices, availability etc, the brand of tyre changes over time. Often I'm viewing a US police show, eg NCIS, the good guys matched a tyre tread in the dirt to a particular make/model of vehicle, often the vehicle is at least a decade or more old. How does this work in reality? I mean are you folks in the USA only able to buy what was equipped on a vehicle at the time of manufacture or is this really as implausible and ludicrous as it sounds? I know this isn't a comment about your video reaction but you are the only USA police officer I know, well sort of know to ask lol. You might also react to what you perceive as a daft question, but also on some USA shows, someone has to wait for stock of a tyre to come into a tyre shop, so maybe it does work this way in the USA. The reality of my locale says I probably needed the tyre yesterday and would choose another brand if my first choice was unavailable. This is exactly the case with my current car as its spare is a space saver wheel which is only suitable to get me to where I can repair /replace the tyre with the problem. Anybody doing intestate travel would face this problem with a space saver spare tyre.😮
Interesting question. I don’t watch crime shows on telly, but I do watch a lot of ‘true’ crime stuff on TH-cam. I’m subscribed to several channels. There is a lot of information on this specific subject. It’s a legitimate form of forensic science, as is the science behind matching a bullet to a specific firearm. It’s fascinating stuff. I’ll send your questions to Mike, just in case he hasn’t seen it. BTW you live in a beautiful part of the world. I’ve got a bit of trivia for you about the Flinders Ranges. My ex-husband’s great, great grandfather was John Frederick Hayward. It’s said that he pioneered the South Australian wool industry. Mount Hayward and Hayward’s Bluff were named after him. The ruins of his homestead ‘Aruna’ is still there. ❤
Thanks for the comment and question. The short answer is: We are just like you. We buy a car, and it comes with whatever tires the manufacturer has scored a deal on. I've seen the same make and model car on two different car lots that have different brands of tires on them. There is absolutely no way that tires can be traced to a make or model vehicle during an investigation. During an investigation, tire impressions can lead you to the make and model of the tire only. There are ways we can mathematically determine the size of the tire(sometimes), and even the weight of the vehicle (sometimes). We also look for defects to attempt to discover the wheel base of the vehicle. Using tools at our disposal, we can use these figures to eliminate certain vehicles. ie, a small two door car will leave a narrower "track" than a ute.. If we can identify a defect in a tire, we can then measure the distance until that defect appears again in the rotation. These just lend to clues but will not lead to a specific make or model.
Gday mike Im like you I enjoy certain talent But don't necessarily like their politics They all need to shut up and do what their good ar This goes for all businesses as well Like you i don't drink either and like my food Who wants to pay to get sick not me Then it can also destroy your life and future As a x cop now you've seen the damage and tragedy it creates Turning normal law abiding people into trash they'd normally be ashamed of The 3rd Aussie he's talking about would be less educated and says what he thinks No sugar coating or manipulation like the other two The easiest way to exsplain 1st two office worjer or business owners The 3rd guy was blue collar working class with his hands and happy with less in life but happy Unlike the other chasing the fortune and miserable Nothing wrong with either It just depends what you want in life Then how much of your happiness your willing to sacrifice But dont dislike others because want different things in life Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍

Yeah we don't like political correctness here. It's bs. 😂

Why are we like this
Michael. No politics, please. 😂❤

Yeah Bundy rum is the best.
My first bottle was also my last, along with anything else rum-related or rum-flavoured.
😂 Yeah. Definitely NO FOSTERS!!! 🤢🤮

Gday mike
Im like you
I enjoy certain talent
But don't necessarily like their politics
They all need to shut up and do what their good ar
This goes for all businesses as well
Like you i don't drink either and like my food
Who wants to pay to get sick not me
Then it can also destroy your life and future
As a x cop now you've seen the damage and tragedy it creates
Turning normal law abiding people into trash they'd normally be ashamed of
The 3rd Aussie he's talking about would be less educated and says what he thinks
No sugar coating or manipulation like the other two
The easiest way to exsplain 1st two office worjer or business owners
The 3rd guy was blue collar working class with his hands and happy with less in life but happy
Unlike the other chasing the fortune and miserable
Nothing wrong with either
It just depends what you want in life
Then how much of your happiness your willing to sacrifice
But dont dislike others because want different things in life
Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍
Again... father Ted wrong department. From a daughter, and niece, of an Aussie Vietnam vet you should.
Dreadful!!!
