A soufflé is a baked egg-based dish often served as a savory main dish or sweetened as a dessert.
Soufflés can be very intimidating to make but the truth is, it’s actually pretty easy to make. If you follow this recipe carefully you’ll make perfect chocolate soufflés every time. These dark chocolate soufflés have a delicious molten center and a light, bouncy outside which any chocolate lover will cherish.
These individual-serving chocolate soufflés are dark and intense in flavor, yet with a light and not too sweet custardy texture are the perfect dessert for any special occasion. Make sure to use good quality dark chocolate in order to get that intense chocolate flavor, but if you prefer not too intense and slightly sweeter soufflé you can also use semisweet or milk chocolate for the recipe. For maximum satisfaction always serve a soufflé straight from the oven and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top can be a great accompaniment.

1 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp All-purpose flour
1/2 cup Milk (Cold)
100 grams Dark chocolate (75% cocoa)
1 pinch Salt
1/2 tsp Vanilla essence
1 medium size Egg yolk
2 medium size Egg whites
3 tbsp Sugar
Cocoa powder to serve

@@rayfrancis9480 you can, but it might increase the sweetness of the souffle, and less of the chocolaty taste. You may reduce half of the sugar added, it's totally fine.

just tried this, and it turned out awesome! soo chocolatey, so smooth in mouth, delish! and this so far is the easiest recipe I've found and as long as we follow the steps, it wont fail. I used chocolate milk and reduced 1/3 amount of the sugar, still worked perfectly. Thanks for this amazing recipe 💜

You really don't want to miss the part when you have to eat the chocolate souffle from the baking bowls. Plus if you're going to cook them in a cupcake... I don't think that they are going to cook as they would normally do in a baking bowls ... Just follow the video, step by step, and they will came out perfectly . All the best !

I just cooked it and it was DELICIOUS. I didn't have a chocolate bar, so I used powdered chocolate. My soufflé withered a little, I think it was because I stirred in the oven ahead of time, but it was very good and fluffy

@@abd6051 I haven't tried storing it before, but I think if you cover the batter with plastic wrap it should last a day or two. Most batters are better baked when they're freshly mixed though.

@@abd6051 ı'm not sure ı understand but you should mix eggs with sugar fresh. You cant store because egg whites can easily lose their puffiness. I hope I could explain your question correctly😊

A soufflé isn't actually a cake, though they may seem similar, they're quite vastly different. Cakes are known for their layering styles while soufflés are light and delicate. The texture is the main difference. It's like the difference between a soft creme brulee and a heavy crepe cake. When you try it your mouth will explode with joy! It'll be like eating a cloud!

Made this today. I can't believe I did it! I had trouble making the meringue. Second try thickened, but nothing like what you had. Still slightly liquidity. Also, the milk mixture didn't thicken like yours. Practice. :-) Oh, they were GREAT! They rose out of the top and EVERYTHING!

!WOW¡, nothing like see the preparation in live and direct, of another tasty wonder, a bit of culinary art ready to be appreciated and eaten, !MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM¡, !YUMMY¡.
butter-grease& coat with sugar
dark choc 100grams
All purpose flour 1tbs
1/2 cup milk
slightly thickened
add into the chocolate, and add a pinch of salt
seperate 2 eggs and mix add yolk with chocolate mixture
fluff the meringue add 3tbs of sugar and fluff gradually (until firm peaks)
add 1/3 of egg white to chocolate mixture and gently whisk
and the remaining egg white and fold gently
bake 12-15mims in 200 degrees
put cocoa powder on top
