I appreciate your videos but I'm incredibly interested in the final burial of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip . HOWEVER I can't read your diagram nor can I enlarge it . As an American forgive me for my questions but I don't understand how they can both fit in the Chapel of King George VI & with both her parents. So can you PLEASE post a larger diagram to this video or make another PLEASE !!?!?

18 y/o Ethiopian Prince Alemayehu is buried outside of St George’s Chapel by Queen Victoria. Ethiopia has requested the return of his remains to no avail.😢

King George VI memorial chapel:
The chapel was commissioned by Queen Elizabeth II in 1962.[3] The architects of the chapel were commissioned to design it to accommodate the remains of three monarchs and their consorts. So, King George VI, Queen Elizabeth and most likely King Charles will rest there.

Btava! My mom wanted to have her ashes lie with her parents nut my half sister since moms death the third of June 2020 keeps moms ashes.
Not only did QEII’s long reign provide ruling stability, but it lessened the need for more space to accommodate more sovereigns in the vault. According to the average reign statistic, there could have been at least 2-3 more kings/queens in her 70 years.

I like the way they use to have like a statue on top of the former monarchs. She was a humble Queen by asking to have a plaque on top instead of her image on top. Is very interesting and the addition made to it. I bet it would be awesome to tour the area. It don’t matter how we’re buried because from ashes to ashes and you don’t take anything from earth with you except the memories and to everlasting life with Christ our King; she still amazed me asking for just a plaque because she was the longest monarch in British monarchy you expect something like the old way. I respect her decision and it would be nice and see the burial site even I heard the Cathedral is amazing. My ex wife and me every time we went somewhere we looked at old cemeteries ,cathedrals and the oldest church in the West Indies as they called the New World discovered. In Boston or Cape Cod area it was fascinating to see if the tombstone had an Angel it meant the person was a Christian and saved by the Lord and whoever was known to be evil it wouldn’t have an Angel meaning that person was going to hell. Is amazing how judgmental it was at that time .

This funeral should remind us of the great judgement morning when all the nations would gather together before the White Throne, and wonderfully someone has done us a great deed by writing a hymn about that day. I am beginning to feel that the late monarch was chosen to be a unifier but she like every human being has fallen short of the Glory of God, and also has her personal flaws.
People, whatever she or her ancestors have done to us and our ancestors is now history to shape our lives. We may ask for what belong to us, but to hold grudges, unforgiveness and bitterness is doing ourselves a great evil.

But definitely the caskets are not getting lowered from above underneath the black marble grave-plaque. HELLLLLLO DIMENSIONS?!?!!??
On the other hand the Underground Vault was't extended/connected to the newly build George VI addition!
It is just for extra-special rememberence the building with the plaque. The bones aren't EXACTLY resting underneath. The real caskets will be placed among most others at the sides of the Underground Royal Vault, these 4 plus Margaret's Urn next to each other of course; and later prolly joined by her children (at least Charles and downwards)!
Anything else hardly makes sense. And yes I know Charles I / Henry VIII had different circumstances in way other times to be laid seperately /found by co-incidence and weren't moved anymore to the Main Tomb Area.

Excellent presentation! I wondered what was happening when Queen Elizabeth II's coffin was lowered beneath the chapel floor during the final ceremony. So sweet that she and Philip are reunited. Their love story was amazing.
Since the castle is on the chalk mound in geology with the lead, and embalming it means their bodies with humidy sucked up chalk means their bodies could naturally turn into mummiefied remains.
