That was my thinking too, either a ground issue (which would be weird) or some movement in the sensor. Could also be some kind of interference since it's only at super high rpm, I wonder if shielding/moving the sensor wire could help
It might just be a voltage drop from the alternator at high rpm, you can see in the graphs as he revs higher the sensor voltage drops. I would check if the alternator voltage is dropping at a similar rate.

Sadly most rtr bits would remove the GT350 only parts. The front of a GT350 is not swappable with a GT, that’s why people order Anderson Composites body kits to make their own clones because factory panels don’t swap!
for some reason ford always wanted to keep the v8 the flagship even in australia. right up until the sprint they left a lot a lot on the table with the barra and always understated the power and especially torque figures to favour the v8. we probably wouldn't have even got the xr6 sprint if the xr8 sprint didn't have a supercharged coyote. not as bad as holden though they overstated the lsx output ford australia always understated both the sprints had overboost by outputs were stated for worst case conditions.
ME degree and just took a course in controls, seems like you need some sort of solution to remove noise because that is a very big variance for a 5v signal. I recommend some sort of PID control to remove the steady state error and allow you to have much smaller voltage ranges for different gears. Filter like you said might work too ✌️
Biggest issue with these is overshoot and/or rise time. This means switching gears might take longer and the signal might jump to read too high for the right gear.
I miss the days this car was the daily/rental for when the homies were in town. So glad you haven't given up on it and stoked to see it back!! Would be sick if you brought it to FordFest!!!
The barra is perfect for roll racing. It’s cool seeing you branch off it and play with a couple straight line cars. It’d be cool to see Z-Roy at another burnout comp.

Now that the car is more dialed you gotta have Vaughn and Chelsea come to the compound to drive it! Or have them do the RTR Fun Haver angle kit on it and do up the suspension to make it more stable and less rocking boat like lol
Get wheels and tires and haul that bad machine over to McFarland fab for some drag suspension! That's your straight line car. Might even eff around and be faster than Cooper 😂
make it a god damn drift car already we all know you want to and what a better way for an rtr driver to spend his time, making the coolest and most badass mustang of the entire squad that's so crazily out of the box compared to all the basic and common v8 ones out there.
adams been needing goatee and chops his whole life it fits him wayy better. im 38 and can hrow facial hair for the life of be and recently in last year or so a little goatee starting and go figure starting to get gray hairs in it lol
I think with your last drag racing in the rotary car, you should definitely hit he drag strip with this also. Do another video with cleetus dialing it in on the track an maken it a good drag car since it's kinda perfect for it. I think you will do great drag racing if you practice it. Your a drive....... you can do it !!!!!!!
Hard to believe it has been nearly 3 years since the Barra build. I really thought this was cool when you were building it and disappointed that you were having problems and then the car kind of disappeared. Good to see it back.
