- I discuss the native TickTick template functionality and also a secondary approach to templates that might be more useful for more complex projects.

Very Useful Video. Thanks!!!!
Thanks. I was hoping that I could make template projects in the same way as a single task. But that is not the case.
You're the Mr. Rogers of TickTick
Didn't know I could do templates! Thanks!
This is a very useful video. Thank you.
Very useful. Thank you
Thank you so much, new subbie! 👍I subscribed when I found you channel a few days ago and have been binging in my free time ever since. I don't know if you do training at your job, but you sure should. I really appreciate your channel! 👏
Cool, well I'm glad I was able to provide some useful content. Thanks for subscribing.
I haven't used templates yet, but I like the project template approach you described - good stuff!
Thank you! Good luck using templates.
this was amazing. thank you! super useful.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video! I am sharing TickTick with my team in the near future and I will probably use your videos to help!
I use the standard template method and really like it. I am wondering, though, if you know a way to have a reminder time included in the template.
For example I use the name of a project for the main task, and the subtasks include things like "create job folder"
"send to customer"
"check in with customer"
I would love to be able to add "in 1 day" at the end of the text and let the smart text translate it to 1 day from submitting.
Unfortunately I've tried doing just that and it does not save correctly.
Thoughts?
I tried to do a template a few weeks ago but I wanted to have a checklist. Thanks for showing how to do that. I'm going to fix my template - I made just a regular list instead. - Nicole
Okay, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong: I made a template with a checklist. When I look at it from settings, it's a checklist. If I send it to my Inbox from there, it's a checklist. If I add a task and add a template to it, it just a regular list. BTW, you have to add that checklist right away otherwise once you press enter you can't add a template.
Updated: I think my problem was that the list (the one on the left) was Notes. I changed it and was able to get my template properly with the checklist. Are you sure Notes is working for templates? They would be notes, not checklist I guess.
Interesting, I usually use traditional way
Cool, glad that's working for you. 👍
The ticktick evaluation are too bad ! I don't found backup option to free option: yes, (I'm testing it....that's what the trial version is for) and second BAD, did they put tasks and notes on the same level? Since when did notes become a tasks to have a limit? they are notes only! and And I still found out that there is a ticktick limit for task ???? since when does software get tired?
Nice video. I'm new to TickTick, I work in IT so hoping this will help me stay organized.
