Penny is the true embodiment of what a real leader should be. A kind caring individual that looks past the power and only cares about their subordinates well being. Only a true leader would take all the blame so that the others can live a happy life.

@@xenaku3948 Player of sun and moon here, MAJOR SPOILERS, so Guzma, yes was the gang leader of team skull, he worked with Lusamine, but near the end, he realized the problem he was in, when he was gonna fight you to stop you from stopping lusamine's plan, he instead stopped you to give you a masterball, saying "Hopefully you find more use with this than i have" penny and guzma were very simular, Penny cared about her subordinates, and guzma stopped what he was gonna do cause of the discovery of the end of the region or worse, the world, shows he cares about others than just about power, so yes, Guzma and Penny are very similar

Her dad is one of the characters in Galar, you can tell because he said he says its an "adven-tour" and penny mentions it during the mochi mayhem event
I like how this makes her theme into a ballad about regret and not feeling entirely sure about her decisions during the game
I will generally be shocked at this point if anyone would say spoilers by now considering how everywhere content is about this game at this point
PENNY BEING CASSIOPEIA WAS SO OBVIOUS
Hell, I figured this one out before the game released. The 3 of them (Penny, Nemona, and Arven) were revealed in the trailer revealing the 3 paths. Nemona and Arven were immediately confirmed to be part of the Gym Challenge and Path of Titans respectively. Penny wasn't and the Starfall Street path didn't have a 'face', so it had to be Penny.
Clyde was an absolute double whammy though

also I had 0 clue Penny was Cassiopeia, I stopped watching all trailers about a month before the game came out and the only thing i wanted to know was what Revavroom's name was so I didn't see the trailer with the three paths. I was told about that by my brother
“Let my supernova burn away” was my favorite line, it fit the tune so well and it gave me chills ❤️❤️
For me it’s the “United we burned brighter then the brightest stars” that give me the most chills. Although the supernovae line still gives me chills.

It makes so much sense why this goes so hard for her team of all Eeveelutions when you consider how Giacomo presumably composed this: He never met her in person, and doesn't know enough about her as a person to make something more fitting.

Penny sent out Flareon after Umbreon when I fought her, so I thought for a short while that her team would cover all of Team Star’s elements.
Would’ve been a great way to introduce Fighting and Poison-Type Eeveelutions.
Problem with that is that Eeveelutions have all been types that were special before the physical/special split, plus fairy which likely would have been special if it existed back then. The only type that could realistically still be given an eeveelution is dragon.
Honestly, giving her just one eeveelution as her ace would have been sufficient, and her other pokemon could have been dark, fire, poison, fairy, and fighting types. But I guess they really wanted to give her Sylveon as her ace.

@@FlyGli1 ... Literally all but one formerly special type has an eeveelution, and no physical type does. The new type that got one would very obviously have been special if it existed back then. That's not a theory, it's observable reality.

Due to Team Star's code if a leader falls then the one who beat them leads that squad. The final battle isn't just Penny defending her team, it's her fighting the new team and how different they became from their original goal. She's fighting her own mistakes, trying to make things right while also fighting for the honor of her friends whos' original goals became too distorted over time.
I actually super impressed that tex managed to sing a way where she was still on beat and fit the character perfectly and as always your art juno is auction worthy. Absolute banger!
I like how she starts British rapping in the banger chorus instead of signing just the melody

0:54 Holy crap this part is so good? For a moment I was surprised you didn't go with the melody which how iconic this part is, but the way you had Tex follow the chord structure while gradually raising the pitch had this awesome feeling of Penny's voice soaring over the song. Really cool!

There's actually a possiblity of "lore accurate lyrics" version since in lore this theme was written with no knowledge of team star's boss was Penny. It's the reason of the police siren like synth and powerful heroic leading melody. It was written for a hero who can stand against all odds by being themselves. Penny's last stand and finally fight as Penny completed this theme, as she becomes the hero this theme portaits during the fight.
A triumphant theme while searching for defeat, but still don't want to accept it somewhere in her, the internal conflict still boils as the theme and fight progress. The player is the self proposed villian in team star's story, but also the last hope and shining light for Penny. There's so much drama behind this theme it's crazy!
Deep, deep down in my core, I knew Penny would rap.

I love those moments where she starts speaking realy quick, she works so well with the British accent
This may seem weird, but "One last show before the operation" was the most perfectly timed line for me, since my save file was weirdly reset in Violet, and I did the final Penny battle some days before my grandma went into a life or death surgery.

I just thought about that, Dazzling gleam is supposed to be a bright flash of light right? So how much more potent would it be when terastilized? because they’d be made from crystals which makes them extremely reflective and can amplify light

This is honestly beautiful and just amazing, I actually started crying listening to the lyrics. Bravo Juno, you conveyed Penny’s feelings perfectly.
THAT'S the twist from before? It's... actually pretty funny. I know she's meant to be smart, that Pokémon has included prominent young characters since the beginning, and it'd be different if I'd gotten used to her through the game, but... well, it's a child filling an equivalent role to characters like Giovanni or Ghetsis, and it's a bit difficult to take her seriously at the moment! This isn't helped by her design choices, that every 3d Pokémon game has made characters look smoother/softer, the team having a name as grand as Team Star, and of course the skilled, elaborate singing. I did some reading after this and the plotline seems decent, but the sheer contrast has kept me smiling for a while.
Nah, Giovanni and Ghetsis have bigger shoes to fill for Evil Team Leader, Penny and Team Star managed to get away with all their crimes lmao.
By crimes, I meant mostly Penny with Fraud and Grand Larceny.
