Actually the best phone. But 99 percent an ULTRA, because the display edges at the top and bottom are just too thick. Too bad. But I'll buy it anyway.

@@adyady3099 it is better cpu because the Dimensity can't hold it's performance longer than short bursts before it throttles\downclocks itself. Having only performance cores is like shooting yourself in the leg. Better 90% of the performance which you can hold for longer than 100% just for a few seconds.

good work! but please tell us how much is the zoom 1x 3x you explained but in some shots only explain in the 100x but not the middle x that you are using... particularly i would like to test the zoom with a portrait zoom of two persons at 50x and 40x if still preserve the details... or if you could compare vs samsung S23 ultra could be very useful. thanks!
If anyone paid a professional photographer to document their wedding, and they bust out a Vivo phone (or any phone, for that matter), would they be taken seriously? 😂

Seen someone on the Facebook page take wedding photos with the Vivo X100 Pro. Turned out really nice.
@sleepy1171 Oh, sure! Any phone today can take "nice" photos. But if that's all you're using at a wedding, your expectations are LOW.
@@myfakeguuglaccount8307 yeah I wouldn't be impressed if someone rocks up to my daughter's wedding with just a phone for a camera. I would pay for an extra photographer to take photos with the camera phone (say vivo x100u/Xiaomi 14u) for shits and giggles alongside another photographer with professional camera gear. That'll be fun.
I’d tell them to leave and demand a refund lol a Canon Rebel T5 would take much better photos than this phone at about a 1/3rd of the price.
Finally an ultra phone which will creat a real competition. I hope it will be launched in the global market.

The only ultra for global only Xiaomi 14 Ultra but technically 14 Ultra is more like EU rom rather than your typical global rom.

VI's main is smaller than X100U's telephoto. VI's UW is useless. VI's telephoto is smaller than ALL of the selfie cameras out there. Bad decision bro

The X100 Ultra only shown its best performance in every category when you're living in mainland China, i have been used dozens of Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo before (all flagship, not a single mid-ranger)
@@xslvrxslwtThe Vivos telephoto is 1/1.4 while the Sonys main is 1/1.35. The sony main cam isn't smaller than the Vivo telepehoto, but also not much bigger than vivos Telephoto.

the photos are not good I've seen several I will continue to prefer the Xiaomi 14U as a camera to take photos... X100 Ultra will be another weak one in HDR
@@mistertech332 in HDR????in HDR?????? lmfao this is HANDS DOWN the best phone when it comes to hdr, watch ben gadget's video and others, xiaomi has poor dynamic range and loses even to x100 pro, vivo is the only phone at night that can keep shiny billboards and lights from being over exoposed and always sees in shadows in the day

What are the drawbacks of Chinese software? What Google services I won't be able to use?
Based on x90 Pro+... Android Auto, Google Location Services, Google Assistant. Mostly all those advanced Google functions. It had a basic Google services support so Play Store, Maps etc still works.

Imo the Xiaomi 14 ultra is best if you want cameras but as daily use Evan though I'm not a Sammy fan I would go with the 24U

I don't like the X100 ultra it will be a disappointment compared to cameras like the X100 pro in HDR I've seen several photos of it and I didn't like it it has saturated colors for me xiaomi 14U is better

@@OriginalUser2023 Not only heard of that, I imported two phones in the past two years. These Chinese phones have three major problems, no android auto, no smartwatch connectivity and a lot of apps are not optimized for foldable phones. So importing one is pointless unless it is released outside of China.

@@mc30052 Thank you for your reply, I like Chinese phones a lot especially Vivo and Xiaomi but those 3 problems have stopped me from ordering the Vivo X fold 3 pro that was released in China two months ago and don't get me wrong, this phone is a beast but is not worth it because of those problems. Luckily, the phone will be released outside of China in June which is great news. The point is getting my favorite phone with a global rom to avoid countless problems.

Hi! Are there any Pro or manual video modes that allow you to control exposure, ISO, white balance, etc. or is that only in photo pro-mode? I'm particularly interested in adjusting video parameters for night recordings. It would be great if you could create a complete overview of the functions in photo and video modes for advanced users. Definitely the best camera in business but given Vivo's past, will need to see the display in real life. All the flagship Vivos I played around with had this bluish ugly cheap looking displays, something you see on $200 budget phones. All their phones have cheap displays.
Bloatware, unnecessary apps that eat up the RAM, common in Chinese phones.. That's why samsung has the best software experience

Thanks for the review. The Zoom cammera looks amazing. The Gimbal like OIS is great and also 4K120 (slow mo) on all the lens are unbeatable. Am considering this phone next.

I have the Vivo X100 Pro (China version) and I cannot get "OK Google" assistant to work. "OK Google" assistant with voice work on the Ultra?
Android Auto and Google assistant do not work on any Chinese firmware phones. I've managed to get Google assistant to work on some models, but it will always default back to the built in assistant after a restart

@@betomacias9515 yepp, even the galaxy s9 (NINE!!) could do 720p @ 960fps. One would think that 6 years later 1080p \ 2k @ 960fps would be possible considering how good the sensors, the ram+storage and the cpus have got.
