First part of the Kodai ride series. The journey up from Kochi via Theni. This route takes more time than the straightforward route via Pollachi-Palani, but here you get to ride the Bodi-Theni road which has fantastic views, especially when you are riding down.

Since you have been travelling more, had you thought of changing stock seat, I do feel difficult to travel more than an hour in my electra...how are you managing?

I have put a seat cover with extra foam padding for comfort. Also I take breaks frequently. .so that helps.

Thanks Pritish ! We took around 7 hours on our way back via Palani-Pollachi, which includes breaks. Have not measured mileage in a while, should be getting between 40-45 I guess.

Seems like Bodi is relatively clean now...when we were riding there was a serious threat of falling stones from the cliffs
