I respectfully disagree. Hank Williams Senior was right up there with conway. Because when Hank died..... It was the end of an era. And when Conway died it was also the end of another era. Those two were the Pinnacle of country music. And had this ability to perform pretty much flawlessly live with no modern equipment to help distort voices or enhance it. Playing real music instruments. The way it should have been done all along. Hank senior and Conway were the OGs of the country music scene.

The best male vocalists in the country music scene in my opinion ever was Hank Williams Senior Conway Twitty and Daryle singletary. Singletary was the only person that could successfully cover a Conway song without fucking it all up. If you've never heard the Daryle singletary version of I'd love to lay you down.....
