Speaking of outfits suited to winter - I don't know, if I remember correctly, but I thought in a first 3 seasons it was said that fairy in fairy form stays warm, no matter what. Tecna did a suit for her in Omega dimension, because being in fairy form to be warm for all the time is exhausting for a fairy.
@Will N so I think the under cover assignment was that witches still lived on earth un knowingly having magic because witches were ignored by the fairy hunters they still rome the earth and that's why griffin didn't have any questions how Selina was from earth and how she got to the magic dimension probably shilly helped them enroll in season 5 and season 6 when they got to school like Roxy
Myrta will always be my favourite side character and i hate that the later seasons completely forgot about her BUT Francis' look is *iconic* and I love everything about it.
I would have loved to see that! It'd feel more like the Daphne we were first introduced to. They probably didn't to separate her from Stella I'm assuming. Which is pretty sad.
I feel like they gave her Roxy’s color palette so it wouldn’t clash with the other winx’s colors. Character wise it doesn’t make much sense and doesn’t compliment her at all.

I want to defend Sky for a moment here on the Diaspro situation. He couldn't realy tell Bloom about the Diaspro situation, remeber at the time he was switching role with Brandon to evoid a terrorist attack. So he couldn't realy tell Bloom even if he wanted to. At the time the two of them were not a thing, yeh rhey probably liked eachother but Sky never steped the border betwin good friend and boyfriend. Granted Diaspro did get the short hand of the stick, she might have been spoiled the the circustances were not exatly in ger favor. I honestly didn't like the fact she became a full villan in season 3 it's kinda generic thr girl who dosen't get the man and wants revenge, but since she had almost no screen time prior to that moment it's at least belivable.
That is a fair point. It would have been nice to see Bloom and Sky actually talk it out with each other from this angle. And then at least try to console Diaspro a bit.
One fun fact in my opinion - if you've played the PC or PS2 version of the game Winx Club, there's a fairy that plays a role as the designer of your clothes (including the ones from the first season, just to stick with the gameplay). Her name is Looma and she appears to be a fairy that uses magic to create outfits and her first and only appearance is in the game! Also in the hallways with the rooms for the students, every room has random names of mostly non-existent fairies included, probably to recognise which doors you can use (the one to the Winx room and the one with Looma). The game is fun and I suggest you check it out. ^^
One more thing I remembered. Ortensia is introduced as Pia in the game and says her father is a teacher at the Red Fountain. So sometimes you'll find her in front of the painting (the portal to the Red Fountain) or a huge that contains the figure of the Red Fountain used as a key to open the portal, which you can unlock with a password.
Galatea's design is absolutely gorgeous and I've been obsessed with it since I was a child ahaha I'm so glad you put her on S tier, because honestly she is also so iconic
Worth considering is also the power levels. The basic fairy form is always much more simple compared to more developed transformations like enchantix as we saw with the Winx. While we don't know exactly for most of them it's worth considering how the look fits in with where they are in fairy development.
I hope you don't mind info dumps, I just love learning about bg characters in winx myself and I want to add some info. Alice and Oleana debuted in season 1 and in season 2 Alice was seen partying with Jared at the end of season, showing that he moved on from a crush on Musa. Kylie has shorts that can be seen in s1 ep 26 while all fairies are happy that war is over. Animators ssometimes confuse Lavigne with Anastacia, the latter doesn't have a fairy form, but sometimes they draw Lavigne's fairy form with Anastacia's colors. Same situation with Katy and Selene. Nova has the same outfit as Miky including skirt, but she lacks earrings and tiara, not sure why they recycled the design here while making a new one for Mirta and Galatea.

I love this tier list. Hardly anyone talks about the minor fairies. To be honest I remember that one of the fairies Luna looked like one of the minor cloud tower witches.
I wished that the minor characters have earn their Enchantix forms like their fellow students the Winx because their basic fairy forms are out of dates for years and boring. I mean isn't there a reason why they all attended Alfea to improved their skills and become stronger fairy to protected their home world because they still stay the same as they are, while the Winx earn more fairy form and getting stronger.
This was super fun! I went and did this tier list after watching. A couple of thoughts I had while making it: - I absolutely love how Lonina's look mirrors the outfit Tecna makes in the Omega dimesion considering what her powers are. I wonder if Tecna referenced her design while making clothing that would keep her warm through the power of electricity. It adds extra functionality and consistency to the power system. - I wonder if Kimmy is some sort of sports/exercise related fairy. Her outfit kinda reminds me of athletic gear and her hair is pulled up in a practical style that would fit that theme. - I bet Oleana would look better with green shorts that matched her top. The pink is just out of nowhere to me, and making it more matchy would make it more of a Look (TM) as opposed to a thrown-together outfit. Also, I think they were trying to go for a mix between an army hat and a crown for that weird hair accessory, but I wish they would've just done a mini army hat instead to achieve the effect of mixing military style and cuteness that they seem to have been going for. - I absolutely loathe Daphne's look. If I were looking at it without context, I would think it was fine and the color scheme is pretty cute. But why didn't they just go with the yellow look she'd always been in prior to this point??? It felt just as magical as any other transformation look, and by completely changing her aesthetic (in appearance, personality, AND role in the story) it feels like the writers at the time just decided they didn't like Daphne and wanted to scrap everything besides her basic concept. It feels so much less mature than the mentor-type character she'd always been, it's a complete 180 from ethereal and goddess-like to sharp and sporty, and if you'd shown me a picture of Daphne from seasons 1/3 to this I would have absolutely no clue they're the same. It's wildly inconsistent and unfaithful and, if I'm being honest, I can't help feel a little offended both for myself and for the original creators of Winx Club, whose character design and concept they just....completely scrapped. -....Anyway, I love the designs for the dark fairies though 😅 Mitzy's and Sally's are very sharp and well put together imo

Based off looks simply, I would put in D tier Oleana, Mitzi's friends, Ortensia, Katy and the other cat girl, and sadly my beloved Mirta has to come here as well, C tier for Daphne, Francis, Galatea, Lolina, Eldora, Mitzi and some other more casual looks, B for the plain but good ones, A for Miele, Aurora, Dark Bloom, Tinker Bell, Diaspro and some better looking background characters, S reserved for Morgana, Roxy, Sybilla, Diana and Nebula
1:6:38 I think it's confirmed that Roxy has Believix because in an official Winx Club click and play video besides all the Winx Club's members' transformations there are also Roxy's and Daphne's transformation, Daphne's one is labeled as a Sirenix transformation (but nobody have a doubt on that) while Roxy's one was labeled as a Believix transformation, and I know this contradicts what Bloom says in season 4 but modern Winx Club is constantly contradicting itself like with Daphne's backstory, the Winx's Age and status, Sky's royal status, characters randomly disappearing and sometimes reappearing (like the minor Alfea staff including Knut and Avalon, Digit, Tune, Roxy, Daphne and the Pixies in season 8). In the Winx Club Fandom wiki it says that Roxy may have a form of incomplete Believix which I like for her given that she didn't gain Enchantix or any other superior transformation that earth fairies have (I suppose that being a major fairy of earth is like being a guardian fairy of the magical universe).

I'm pretty sure that WOW is just an au series where the plotline from S4 still happened (given Roxy's presence) except that magic was never revealed. So the girls are still fairies from different planets. Also just because Tinkerbell has "Tinker" in her name might not mean she's an earth Fairy. I don't think we can go off the same logic where a fairies name is connected to her homeland.

52:41 - I was not a fan of that, since it felt like Mirta was only allowed to stand out as a good witch until she transferred. Combine that with the fact that we got both evil fairies (Chimera, Diaspro, and Nebula for a chunk of S4) *and* fairies powered by dark magic (Mitzi and her cronies), and it feels a bit off-putting that we don't get a legitimately good witch for the series (and no, Lucy and Ms Griffin don't count; they're more in the "will help, but would rather not" camp). Also, wasn't Icy a fairy when she was a kid according to S8? EDIT - you forgot to mention that Mirta was key to stopping the Nightmare Monster, since the Winx had no clue what they were dealing with until she told them.
I like Roxy but I don't understand that while she is studying at Alfea she still haven't earn her other fairy form like the Winx club. In fact in season 7 episode 3 she was the only one who haven't earn Butterflix despite helping the winx club and play a big role in season 7 of saving the magical animals which is very disappointed to me as she earn the right to have a brand new fairy form. And in Season 7 finale of episodes 26 Roxy along with Bloom's sister Daphne appear at the beginning but not at the end of the celebration party which dosn't make sense as since Roxy is a fairy animal and this whole season is about her helping the Winx save the animals from Kalshara. I really wished the writer try to give Roxy the treatment she deserved as well as give her a Butterflix form of her own. If I was the writer for Winx Club Season 7 then I would write a better story back in episode 3 to make sure that Roxy earn her Butterflix along with the Winx, as well as having her bond with her own fairy animal and earn her Typnix too. I just hope that Roxy will return in the new Winx Club Season 9 so she could finally earn her enchantix and become a guardian fairy like Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna and Aishia.

fav character is Diaspro, she was so misunderstood and done wrong. She's the one who got cheated on and defended herself from bloom when bloom attacked her first. Aonly to be made the bad guy and to be manipulated into doing more bad things. It's really no wonder she turned out the way she did. Do hope we get to see some sort of justice for her, even if it's simply finally getting over sky and being with someone new. (also she's the fairy of gemstones, not gemlight, unless i missed something)
Yes it would be nice to see something change for Diaspro at least. And I'm not really sure about her powers. Gemstones makes more sense, but the Winx fairy book I used as reference calls her a Gemlight fairy. Not sure what her power officially is though.

Based off looks simply, I would put in D tier Oleana, Mitzi's friends, Ortensia, Katy and the other cat girl, and sadly my beloved Mirta has to come here as well, C tier for Daphne, Francis, Galatea, Lolina, Eldora, Mitzi and some other more casual looks, B for the plain but good ones, A for Miele, Aurora, Dark Bloom, Tinker Bell, Diaspro and some better looking background characters, S reserved for Morgana, Roxy, Sybilla, Diana and Nebula
My fave are Roxy Daphne nebula diaspro and Miele

1:6:38 I think it's confirmed that Roxy has Believix because in an official Winx Club click and play video besides all the Winx Club's members' transformations there are also Roxy's and Daphne's transformation, Daphne's one is labeled as a Sirenix transformation (but nobody have a doubt on that) while Roxy's one was labeled as a Believix transformation, and I know this contradicts what Bloom says in season 4 but modern Winx Club is constantly contradicting itself like with Daphne's backstory, the Winx's Age and status, Sky's royal status, characters randomly disappearing and sometimes reappearing (like the minor Alfea staff including Knut and Avalon, Digit, Tune, Roxy, Daphne and the Pixies in season 8). In the Winx Club Fandom wiki it says that Roxy may have a form of incomplete Believix which I like for her given that she didn't gain Enchantix or any other superior transformation that earth fairies have (I suppose that being a major fairy of earth is like being a guardian fairy of the magical universe).

@Will N While I will admit I was wrong about Jane. However, I think you're mixing up continuities. Tinkerbell from Fate: the Winx Saga is stated to be an earth Fairy, but in WOW she was never stated as such.
@Will N When was it said that all fairies were earth fairies? I'm pretty sure that WOW is just an au series where the plotline from S4 still happened (given Roxy's presence) except that magic was never revealed. So the girls are still fairies from different planets.
Also just because Tinkerbell has "Tinker" in her name might not mean she's an earth Fairy. I don't think we can go off the same logic where a fairies name is connected to her homeland.
I did some digging and apparently WOW takes place after S7.
@Will N in Fate maybe. But from the sources I found, in WOW Peter Pan came to Neverland under unknown circumstances. And Tinkerbell was already ruling Neverland before his arrival.

First of all, that would be Bloom being delusional. Then it also makes her look crazy, like she's willing to attack other women over a boy, and she lacks the self awareness NOT to do this infront of a large audience.

52:41 - I was not a fan of that, since it felt like Mirta was only allowed to stand out as a good witch until she transferred. Combine that with the fact that we got both evil fairies (Chimera, Diaspro, and Nebula for a chunk of S4) *and* fairies powered by dark magic (Mitzi and her cronies), and it feels a bit off-putting that we don't get a legitimately good witch for the series (and no, Lucy and Ms Griffin don't count; they're more in the "will help, but would rather not" camp).
Also, wasn't Icy a fairy when she was a kid according to S8?
EDIT - you forgot to mention that Mirta was key to stopping the Nightmare Monster, since the Winx had no clue what they were dealing with until she told them.
Mirta first for her personality and her kindness even if she started as a student from Cloud Tower but a good witch

I like Roxy but I don't understand that while she is studying at Alfea she still haven't earn her other fairy form like the Winx club. In fact in season 7 episode 3 she was the only one who haven't earn Butterflix despite helping the winx club and play a big role in season 7 of saving the magical animals which is very disappointed to me as she earn the right to have a brand new fairy form.
And in Season 7 finale of episodes 26 Roxy along with Bloom's sister Daphne appear at the beginning but not at the end of the celebration party which dosn't make sense as since Roxy is a fairy animal and this whole season is about her helping the Winx save the animals from Kalshara. I really wished the writer try to give Roxy the treatment she deserved as well as give her a Butterflix form of her own.
If I was the writer for Winx Club Season 7 then I would write a better story back in episode 3 to make sure that Roxy earn her Butterflix along with the Winx, as well as having her bond with her own fairy animal and earn her Typnix too. I just hope that Roxy will return in the new Winx Club Season 9 so she could finally earn her enchantix and become a guardian fairy like Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna and Aishia.

fav character is Diaspro, she was so misunderstood and done wrong. She's the one who got cheated on and defended herself from bloom when bloom attacked her first. Aonly to be made the bad guy and to be manipulated into doing more bad things. It's really no wonder she turned out the way she did. Do hope we get to see some sort of justice for her, even if it's simply finally getting over sky and being with someone new. (also she's the fairy of gemstones, not gemlight, unless i missed something)
Yes it would be nice to see something change for Diaspro at least. And I'm not really sure about her powers. Gemstones makes more sense, but the Winx fairy book I used as reference calls her a Gemlight fairy. Not sure what her power officially is though.
