Beautiful home! When my girls were younger I did the laundry per person. It was easier to know who’s clothes belonged to what person and was able to sort it easier.

Hi Karrie.
I found that using a 1 x 2 or a 2 x4 (depending on the size of the gap) and cutting it down to fit the space underneath your sofa or love seat. You can stain or paint the board so that it's not noticeable. It works for underneath beds too.
Hi Karrie!! Great cleaning motivation. Your videos always help me get motivated to clean my own house. I am a disabled mother of 3 (28,23, & 21) and my husband works a lot. I like seeing how much you can get accomplished in just a short amount of time. You always show that you don't have to get it "all done" at once. Im looking forward to a new video soon. Take care.

An ikea shoe cabinet would look so good at the end of your wall (between kids bedroom doors). Could be styled (Pinterest has some good ideas) and use it to store your families every day shoes

Karrie, I showed my husband the videos of you and your husband installing cabinets on your kitchen wall to make a pantry. He loved it! We’ve already had a guy come out and give us an estimate to make us one. Can’t wait for more storage!

#2 is absolutely forbidden in the upstairs bathroom in my house, everyone (even guests) knows that they have to go to the bathroom in the basement. I’m the only one that can use the upstairs bathroom and I keep Poo~Pourri stocked!😅

Karrie, so wish there was some way for you to incorporate the front door into your living space instead of loosing all that space between the sofa and dining table. A long time ago a friend of mine positioned their dining table behind their sofa. You would need to slide your sofa back towards the dining room area and move the two chairs that are positioned behind the table so the table is directly behind the sofa. You then have more room between the fireplace and the sofa for your coffee table. Your dining room area becomes a bit smaller, but your living space becomes bigger. I would use the cabinet you previously had behind the sofa for your shoe storage. You should try this on your own time to see if it’s esthetically pleasing. With having a smaller home you want to use all the available space you can. Positioning your furniture in an uusual manner can be the answer. Your home is precious. We have more room but it is also difficult to make it cozy because you have to fill it up with a lot of stuff which is not always the answer. See what you think. Just passing along an idea.
The biggest issue with that is the traffic we would get on our rug and into our living room I wouldn't love that. We have just realized that we have a awkward space but it's not to bad to us anymore 💓 I appreciate the advice, though, truly

My second to oldest son takes his socks off and sticks them in between the cushions on the couch and then my 6 month old German shepherd finds them and tries to chew on them. I think it is a thing with boys about always losing/ finding their socks.

My son throws his socks all over he just takes them off and chucks them we lose socks all the time for him because of it 🙄
