Two things i find extremely weird about US houses/households as a European - people wearing shoes indoors ( ok only if you have dirt floors 😂) and contractors still putting in wall to wall carpets. Laminate flooring costs next to nothing and is soo much easier to keep hygienic!
Yes, I agree with you! I have my house slippers and they stay in the house. But a lot of my friends with younger kids still wear shoes in the house. I know it can be easier that way for some parents. I’m just too much of a germaphobe 😂
Yes, kinda habits as growing up and carry on through out your life time, I always take my shoes when I go into someone’s house, as a mark of respect and not being rude lol
Glad you are feeling better Becka. You soon got everything straight again. I have been unwell for quite a while but getting better (ish) slowly. Plan was to clean the bathrooms (2) yesterday. Only managed to actually finish one but like to think I did a good job. Should be able to properly finish the other one today. Unfortunately, energy levels are low. Also, I’m glad you donate to a domestic violence women shelter that’s a really good cause to donate to. Any of my old stuff, I donate to a thrift store that I volunteer at which helps families who have dealt with natural disasters and lost everything. I needed the cleaning motivation and here you are posting another great one. ❤ I enjoyed watching the restocking in the pantry, it makes me want to get some organizers so I can keep my pantry restocked as well.
