lol, this reminds me of something my grandma used to tell me - it took me a very long time to catch on so the lady was slick af! She would always tell me that out of alllllll of her grandkids/kids she ever knew/etc. that I was the best cleaner...ever. My dumb ass apparently loved the praise and attention so much that I'd clean up anytime she asked me to...even if it wasn't my mess. Okay thanks for listening
My depression came back hard this month and I haven't been motivated to clean. I had dishes in my sink, trash that needed to go out and laundry sitting in a chair that needed folding for about two weeks now. I just spent the last hour cleaning thanks to this video and my house is now (semi) clean and I feel a tad bit better. Thanks for the motivation 💛
And if course you look at it and feel worse. I understand that all too well! I changed my fish rach from the huge one that I could fit several days worth of dishes in (so I could tell myself I'll do it tomorrow when I can fill it uo) to a smaller one that's better to do each meal. Okay, so breakfast is a bowl and spoon so I do it for dinner.... 👻
For some reason I fold my laundry like I work at the GAP....but it stays in baskets or on a chair and gets covered with dirty clothes. I have taken photos of my house and seeing it from someone else's eyes is eye opening....like I don't see it. I have about forty areas that need deep cleaning. Under the sink will take a few hours at least....

This was honestly so beautiful 💗 When I was younger, my mom would force me to clean when she could tell I was sad (like a teenage heartbreak lol). She’d tell me to clean bc the devil likes to work best when I’m sitting lazy in my thoughts. Now as an adult & ive been through one of the deepest depressions of my life, I see what she meant by that now. I was newly married, hating my military life/job environment & I was so depressed that it was almost painful to get up from bed. It felt like I was rotting with my apartment. Over a couple of months, therapy has been absolutely wonderful to me, & whenever I’d clean, it’d actually make me really happy. A nice clean environment truly sets my mood right, & I see it also helped my husband to be a nice clean environment. We are both in a better place, thank God🥰 I know I just rambled here, but if someone read this, going through anything and you’ve left your place a mess, I just want to contribute to say that cleaning really does help. I hope whatever you’re going through gets better, & even the simple act of making your bed can lift your spirits. God bless!🥰💕
I'm glad I found this! As someone with chronic illness and OCD about my house it's so hard to feel motivated when you feel overwhelmed. This video shows that by taking things one area at a time and not all at once can really help keep things under control. 💕
I want to quote one of my inspirations, Mel Robbins, who accurately states that motivation is ‘garbage’. If you wait to feel like doing something, chances are, you won’t. So in those cases, you can use the 5 second rule; simply count backwards from 5, as in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and then, you physically move, and do what ever it is you don’t feel like doing. Once you start doing, you are more likely to keep doing it. So next time you aren’t motivated, remember to count 5-4-3-2-1, and do it anyway! 😊💪🏼
I'll try it! Also something similar has been helping me, to do small things, take only seconds or 2 minutes, but before I know it, I've done a lot that day!
Busy Mama Yes!! I am so glad u shared this idea, it can be a game changer! I toooo use this method all the time...with many of my other methods and reframes as well..it works wonderfully for me now...in the beginning it sucked big time...but the more i have this, the easier it has gotten and still gets easier and easier ! Hope ur share helps others find hope 👍🏻💫👍🏻💫
The thing that stood out the most was that I don’t have to be perfect, my house doesn’t have to look perfect everyday. And who I am and what I am able to get done right now is enough. Thanks so much for this video. 😊
I have a hard time keeping my house clean, I am that person who has two jobs, and a bit of depression, and I'm a procrastinator. This video was good for that I'm not the only one who has a messy house.
The only way I can manage is to clean as I go. Just washed face/brushed teeth? Grab a towel or even just toilet paper & wipe down the sink. Used toilet? Grab a disinfectant wipe & give a quick clean. Just came in the door? Have a quick, easy place for keys, coat, bag, shoes. At first, it may feel like you're cleaning all the time. But since they're all small things, they become habit & you don't even notice them after a while. Everyone is different, so maybe this won't work for you. But I know for me, if I waited to do everything once a week or whatever, I'd feel overwhelmed! Cleaning/tidying as I go helps keep me motivated & on top of things.
The quote by the author has me in tears - I don’t know how you find a way to touch our hearts but you do. I started following you for the dollar tree and daiso hauls but 1.5 years later I’m a better person for your videos ❤️
This video was emotional for me. I deeply appreciate your honesty in showing your home truly messy and your explaining that perfection is not what you seek and listening to that recording on perfectionism was therapeutic because it is not real but fear masking itself as ambition. Because of the removal of shame, fear, guilt and criticism I actually feel motivated to organize and tidy up, which is a rarity. God bless you for this freeing video🤗
aliciabrillante you might be interested in the vlogger Diane in Denmark who does flylady (first love your self) style cleaning and organizing. She has many videos including a baby steps series. She really focuses on emotions and support as she has been through the same feelings as many of the viewers have commented on here. Plus she is funny and upbeat too.
Listening to Elizabeth's part of "perfection" really hit home. I'm going on 50 and have missed many memories with my boys because i tried to make everything perfect.....for whom??????? Life is too short...enjoy life....great video
I had a cleaning obsession once. Once I realized their will always be dirt and mess I just let go. Rather spend quality time with my husband and friends.
Wish I could love this a thousand times. I have used your “A done something is better than a perfect nothing.” quote for a year now and I speak into other women’s lives as well. I also love your 80/80 guideline. And oh. My. Goodness....that author’s excerpt. I was weeping. I so needed to hear that today at this exact time. So, thank you sooo much, Kathryn!
I find myself coming back to this video any time I need the motivation to simply get started. I am very much a perfectionist, and the reminder that we are allowed to just be is always so welcome in moments when I feel overwhelmed. Thank you for all you do!
Absolutely. And if something can be wallmounted (bathroom wastebin, toiletbrush holder, tv, bathroom tissue box) so much the better. Make floor cleaning a breeze.
LOVE watching motivational videos on Monday morning when I’m trying to get my life in order 🙌❤️ Here’s to a week of being productive, organized, and tackling those goals! Happy Monday everyone!
i loved the clip about perfectionism. “auditioning for a role you already got. it’s ok to just be.” it was an ah ha moment. i really need to hear that!❤️ thank you!
I also got emotional while listening a clip about “trying to be perfect “; we are putting so much pressure on ourselves because of many fears we have; came to my mind 2 nd Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind; thank you for the inspiration 🍁🍂🌺
I felt slightly emotional too! especially at the end when she watered the plant and I could visually see the plant looking healthier. water yourself yall' and you'll grow
To be honest, im playing your video when im cleaning, eventhough i dont have anything like your home/appliance/tools.. your positivity, your smile, and your happy attitude, help me to forget my depression, and do some cleaning..
I was recently not feeling good about anything in my life, I began to watch cleaning videos and I'm super motivated to clean my house now, and I feel very hopeful for the future.
Just fight with my cousin who I live with, about how messy I am. I go to school and work and have a dog and who's broke with no storage or even a bed. I'm trying to make it work with the living room area as my room in the 1bedroom space we share. I just cried my eyes out at the Elizabeth Gilbert advice. I'm trying and always feel like a failure everywhere and then the sadness and anxiety paralyzes me more. Listening to her say, that I can just be, ..... something I truly needed to hear to help me breathe. Thank u so much. Truly. God bless u. Really needed u today. Xo
friendlyprincess please look at some of the vlogger Diane in Denmark videos. She is a mentor and has many many videos about how emotions are tied into a messiness and clutter and NOT laziness. She is also funny and upbeat and will cheer you on. Hope this will help you.
I didn't realize I was depressed until I looked around at all the clutter. I'm motivated to take control of it. I tackle one small space at a time. Your positivity has inspired me
Love that you reiterated the 80/80 rule- sometimes i want to hear about something multiple times. Helps things stick and lets me know what tips you really utilize every time.
Wow! What a beautiful cleaning video. I like how you talked about emotions and supported that with research. Thank you for being real, I always saw you as perfect mother but now I know you’re human just like the rest of us.
Thanks for being so honest! Stress, anxiety, depression, chronic illness or working long hours, can all contribute but it doesn’t mean you don’t WANT it clean, like your saying life just gets complicated. I like the idea of coming up positive reasons for wanting to clean your home. I am more motivated to clean which I am going to start right now! Thank you!!!!!
Watching your videos is motivating, that is for certain. The difference in you and I is in your home, everything has a place. We downsized by half and now NOTHING has a home. Thanks for staying positive
undLiebeZitrone same here! Came here just to thank for this eye-opening message for me. I used to kill myself over being perfect in everything and still experience emptiness in my heart, as well as the feeling of not being enough, or people not appreciating my hard work. Life will never be the same after this message! Thank you!!!
After hearing Elizabeth, I honestly felt that in my soul. I’m going to make some changes because I need to. Your videos are always inspiring for me, thank you for that!! ❤️
Thank you so much for your comforting words. I'm recently out of therapy having recovered from severe anxiety and depression, and my husband is currently waiting to begin treatment. Everything feels so hard right now and today has been a real unmotivated day. I was feeling awful until I watched this video and realised it was okay. X
From your videos, I have organized my horrid pantry and under my kitchen and bathroom sinks. You are so right when you say that once you begin cleaning and organizing, you want to continue. One of my spare bedrooms has become a dressing/dumping ground. I am now motivated to turn it into a proper dressing room. Thank you so much--and who knew how awesome the Dollar Tree can be??? thank you!
I was literally just thinking I need to get up and clean when you video popped up on my notifications. Talk about perfect timing 😄 . Thank you for the motivation!!
I’ve been watching your videos and finally decided to deep clean and go through all my kitchen stuff. I ended up getting rid of a lot of things I haven’t used in a long while. I now walk into my kitchen and breathe a deep sigh of relief. I am not done yet still wanting to organize but one step at a time. I love your videos!!!!!
While being 25 weeks pregnant with princess number 4, getting out of the hospital after a 16 day stay due to a chronic illness, etc I dont have the energy to clean ir the desire! But this helped! Hopefully I’ll get there soon!
I totally relate on the chronic illness issue! I have 3 autoimmune diseases so just being able to function daily is a struggle much less the idea of doing a whole house deep clean. For me its a pipe dream nowadays lol I do good if I can live by the 30/30 rule(her 80/80 rule)🤣
I've never even considered my perspective when I needed to clean. I love the positive framing idea!! It helps soooo much. Thank you for this! This is the only cleaning motivation video that has genuinely helpful tips
Elizabeth Gilbert quote was me . It hit me so hard and It made so much sense what I've been doing all my life. Because of me trying to be accepted, approved of I worked myself sick. I decided to change my lifestyle and then saw this video. Talk about timing. Thank you so much. I am learning a new way to live without stressing myself sick. To be healthy and happy.
Wow. I watch you often but honestly this is the best one yet. I have been dealing with depression and no motivation. Stuff piling up in a beautiful workspace that I would have killed for five years ago. Your message of it not working for me hit home. I'm about to jump on it and have that beautiful workspace I always dreamed of....and be more productive Because of it. Thank you!!!
I had to pause halfway through because I got so inspired to clean! Also something that helps me when cleaning a super cluttered space is to set up my phone on a time lapse. It helps because I don’t get distracted by my phone and I can share the video with my husband or best friend!
I watched this video a while back, but honestly forgot about it til today, when my older daughter sent me the link & asked me to PLEASE watch it again. The part that got to me most (made me cry) was the part about perfection/fear telling me that I'm not good enough to be here, and not good enough to be/have better.
Wow, the Elizabeth Gilbert recording TRIGGERED ME but in a way that I needed to hear. I’m a Type A, perfectionist type of personality and I’ve been struggling recently with not feeling up to par. That recording really brought me down to reality. Thank you for that ❤️
Perfectionism will steal your joy,,, gotta do your best and let the rest go... or you will be miserable and feel like a failure...speaking from experience
I dont have to be perfect to be here. Wooooow I cried listening to this. In fact went and found it and sent it to my email. I suffer from severe anxiety. Listening to her and you has just soothed my soul. Thank you so much sweet lady.
I love this video so much ❤️ I watch it when I'm having a hard time getting up and about. I love that it delivers an encouraging message and is under ten minutes (it seems to me that watching "cleaning motivation" videos that are half an hour long are... counterproductive)
This is the first channel that I've come across that actually motivates and uplifts me. My mobility has been finicky due to my back pain, I can't stand up or walk too much, but you are helping motivate me to keep going to have a clean home and not beat myself up over it not being immaculate 100% of the time
Your house is beautiful! I usually take breaks when cleaning my entire house & that break turns into an hour... and sometimes the next day! 🙈 Im going to shoot for consistancy today.
I was really touched by your opening comments, I just discovered you last night and have just watched oodles of your video's and since I am in the midst of a whole house deludering "Swedish Death Style" ;) I am very easily overwhelmed, discouraged and downhearted over ever finding a way out. But your acknowledgements of the very real struggles that are magnified by such things as severe health problems was very appreciated. Thank you for all the encouragement & helpful DIY's.
Thank you! Just feeling a bit paralyzed & lethargic. Gloomy fall days-ugh! You’ve inspired me. And the Elizabeth Gilbert quote just about made me cry. Thanks.
Thank you for this video. I soooo can relate. I’ll be transitioning my daughters bedroom into my craft room soon so it will be exciting to see your reveal. Gracias y Dios bendiga tu familia hoy y siempre ❤️
We recently moved into a new house, and I had never moved from one whole house to another? Does that make sense? Anyway, I’m trying to finish unpacking, organize a different-sized house, decorate a different-sized house, and LIVE LIFE with a husband and 2 kids. One of those kids is “potty training”- sort of. 🙄 The anxiety and depression I’ve been diagnosed with makes it overwhelming to “get up and do,” but the 80/80 is awesome! Also, that talk on perfection is JUST what I needed! Thanks for all that you do!
I have been looking through videos for DAYS just hoping for a glimmer of motivation that will get me out of this pit. There’s clutter and mess everywhere and my body become just paralyzed. After dozens of cleaning videos YOURS is the first that has me making a list and ready to get stuff done. The big thing that stood out and that helped me most is the mindset. The why. That helped with seeing it not as an endless chore list, but a purposeful end goal. THANK YOU💕💕💕💕
Just tried the rag on the broom for cleaning baseboards! Yay! No bending or stopping over. Its stiff enough and the head is rigid unlike every mop I own. Worked like a charm and got into corners so I didnt have to move every piece of furniture.
YES-JUST YES to EVERYTHING. We are now officially internet sisters :D I Loved this video. Your dose of REALITY is along with your CARING HEART is GREATLY NEEDED in this time where unrealistic representations are unfortunately displayed as daily life. THANK YOU is not enough, but THANK YOU for making this video. Many many hugs to you!
I needed this so much! It is literally 2:15am and I have been paralyzed "thinking" about starting to clean for a Xmas get-together I have tonight. The reminder that perfectionism is just fear and that little mug with the quote is exactly what I needed. Thank you for being so inspiring!
This video was so beautifully made! The voiceover was intelligent and relevant, and the music was in the background, not dominant or distracting. Presentation and content were both excellent. Thank you.. Thank you : )
We had the same problem with the guest room which otherwise was our library. We solved it by putting in a Murphy bed with shelves around it. You can even buy a Murphy bed kit online and build your own, as we did so it fits into your room. Thanks for the great tip with the broom
I like the clean with me videos; but I wish they were a little more realistic (not just you, but other YTers) with time stamps put on them to know exactly how much time it took to clean the areas because with the speeding up, it looks like the TH-camrs are super cleaners and they get a room finished in 30 seconds flat. In my head, I know that’s not true; but it’s a little discouraging when my deep cleaning takes a whole lot longer. Anyway, love your videos and I’m happy I found them ❤️
Agreed. The speeding up makes it look so easy. Especially when you know you're getting the most productive cuts. It'd be nice to see it in real time, but your idea of time stamps is even better!
Yeah, kind of frequently in my house dirty dishes build up and counters get cluttered. It takes 3 hours just to do dishes and wipe down counters and appliances. There's no way I could surface clean my house in 1 day, let alone deep clean.
I will amend this to say that it doesn’t even have to be a precise time. Even just “total cleaning and organizing of the garage took a full morning with normal kid interruptions, etc.” That would be really helpful and a realistic picture, imho.
I’m really thankful for this video. My husband and I just found out that both of our fathers were diagnosed suddenly with late stage cancers. Our children are still very young and it’s hit us hard. I’ve been getting pummeled with one minor health problem after another-I think my body is just more than happy to give up and be overcome. This morning watching your video, I realized that perfectionism is the lie that has been perpetuating constant disappointment in my life. I can’t have the perfect life I want, the perfect children, the perfect house, or the perfect body, and I don’t need to. I’m going to rethink my necessary tasks and shave it down to just what is right for my family, and my life. Thanks to you I’m going to get up and clean my house today. ❤️
I need motivation! You helped me by talking about the reality of why we are so perfectionistic. I like when you said just starting will motivate you. That’s so true!
Thank you for this video. I’ve watched it a few times before. It truly does motivate me b/c getting started IS the hardest part, but seeing the difference in your rooms reminds me of the rewards that come. The Elizabeth Gilbert quote was spot on!
My 9 years old daughter really enjoyed your video! We're Italian, and she's learning english at school with an english teachet, so she smiled hearingan american accent. But mostly she liked to see you cleaning that quickly and she loved your house (we live in an apartment in a city) and how it looked after your hard work. Greetings!
Total time cleaning and decluttering in this video was 1 hour and 50 minutes. I was interrupted by Owen twice, so I had to take breaks and then jump back in.

This video is why I love your channel, you showing that not everything is perfect all the time inspires me to try harder just as you do. Watching your videos have help me lots. Thank you ❤
Do It On A Dime can’t wait to see the bedroom makeover. And what’s with the plungers? Craft idea I hope
"The more you clean the better you get at it." I never thought of it like that before! Encouraging
I also like the idea that "it's easier to keep up than catch up". :)

I force myself to address the thing that stresses me out the most, first. Then the big relief makes it easier to do the others.
Seema Prasad yes love this!
I’ve been doing this without even knowing it and it works!
The thing that stood out the most was that I don’t have to be perfect, my house doesn’t have to look perfect everyday. And who I am and what I am able to get done right now is enough. Thanks so much for this video. 😊
Jenny Svilicich
YES!!!
Thank you, Jenny!!!
We are CAPABLE!❤️❤️❤️
Really didn’t expect that I would start crying because of the Elizabeth Gilbert clip but here I am
Oh! Sending you a virtual hug this morning 💛 be kind to yourself.
I feel the same way. Bawling because I felt it so hard. Hugs to all!!
I feel the same, I wish you all self care💕
May I swear!!! Me too!!!
Same! Sending YOU ALL hugs in support of whatever you're facing in life, you've got this! 💜💙💜💙💜🌞🧙🏻♀️
Listening to Elizabeth's part of "perfection" really hit home. I'm going on 50 and have missed many memories with my boys because i tried to make everything perfect.....for whom??????? Life is too short...enjoy life....great video
Elva Lugo very honest and you are not alone in this. It’s the Mary/ Martha dynamic
I had a cleaning obsession once. Once I realized their will always be dirt and mess I just let go. Rather spend quality time with my husband and friends.
Excatly I use to be such a clean freak
I can't wait to find out why there's a collection of plungers in your craft/ guest room!
HAHAHA! Same! So intrigued..
My guess: Handles are dowels. Can't quite figure out what to do with bottom part of the plunger would repurpose...
I thought the same thing 🤣 No doubt an interesting DIY 👍
Same here!
I was thinking the same thing!
Getting rid of stuff has really helped me keep my home cleaner. Less stuff to move, you know?
Absolutely. And if something can be wallmounted (bathroom wastebin, toiletbrush holder, tv, bathroom tissue box) so much the better. Make floor cleaning a breeze.
True
Its makes me feel good ty o get rid of things.
LOVE watching motivational videos on Monday morning when I’m trying to get my life in order 🙌❤️
Here’s to a week of being productive, organized, and tackling those goals! Happy Monday everyone!
"The house was clean yesterday.........Sorry you missed it!"
-my motivation
i loved the clip about perfectionism. “auditioning for a role you already got. it’s ok to just be.” it was an ah ha moment. i really need to hear that!❤️ thank you!
The broom trick for the base boards...🤯🤯🤯
I also got emotional while listening a clip about “trying to be perfect “; we are putting so much pressure on ourselves because of many fears we have; came to my mind 2 nd Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind; thank you for the inspiration 🍁🍂🌺
Thanks for the scripture.
I felt slightly emotional too! especially at the end when she watered the plant and I could visually see the plant looking healthier. water yourself yall' and you'll grow
Lova Lin Amen!
Thank you so much for tying that Elizabeth Gilbert clip to this verse. That is an awesome insight.
“Letting perfectionism die”. You just made my day sister! I needed to hear that today. Thank you!
Xo
friendlyprincess This was different from all other cleaning videos. It hit deep.
friendlyprincess please look at some of the vlogger Diane in Denmark videos. She is a mentor and has many many videos about how emotions are tied into a messiness and clutter and NOT laziness. She is also funny and upbeat and will cheer you on. Hope this will help you.
Perfectionism is fear. WOW that is so true when you are afraid to do something because it won’t be perfect
It´s me - so many times in my life =( I have to work on that! Thank you Katherine! Love from Germany, Joy ♥
The cluttered area tells a story makes alot of sense. Thank-you.
Yay! I’m so loving your “rag on the broom” for the baseboards. Thank you, I loved this video....
My mom used to put a old towel on the dust mop to clean base boards etc. 60 years ago. funny how I forgot that!
This brought me back to life. I was moping, my house, me a mess. I’ll never get it all done. Then I watched this. Thank you❤️
Wow! What a beautiful cleaning video. I like how you talked about emotions and supported that with research. Thank you for being real, I always saw you as perfect mother but now I know you’re human just like the rest of us.
The cleaning was speeded up. In reality, the cleaning probably took about eight hours to do. It would be easier to set the house on fire.
When I heard the Elizabeth Gilbert interview ... I started crying ! It really moved me and touched something. Thank you ♥️
undLiebeZitrone same here! Came here just to thank for this eye-opening message for me. I used to kill myself over being perfect in everything and still experience emptiness in my heart, as well as the feeling of not being enough, or people not appreciating my hard work. Life will never be the same after this message! Thank you!!!
I am over 60. I know my value is in who I am, not what I do... in my head. It's hard to get it in my heart.
I would love to hear the interview. How can I find it?
I've never felt so emotional from watching a cleaning tips video.
After hearing Elizabeth, I honestly felt that in my soul. I’m going to make some changes because I need to. Your videos are always inspiring for me, thank you for that!! ❤️
She is very inspirational. I will I could be a quidge bit more like her. Hope you have a good day today. X
Thank you so much--and who knew how awesome the Dollar Tree can be??? thank you!
"Perfection", one of my biggest struggles. I'm always trying to reach these unrealistic goals. I really needed to hear this today. Thank you!
I was literally just thinking I need to get up and clean when you video popped up on my notifications. Talk about perfect timing 😄 . Thank you for the motivation!!
Ikr, same here! I was planning on waiting another 15 or so for my pamprin to kick in and deep clean my house 😂 perfect timing!
Loved this, I am inspired to deep clean my house but I run out of energy so quick. Just need to break it up to smaller sections.
I need that mug in my life. "A done something is better then a perfect nothing" My new mantra.
OmG. Me and my mom are the perfectionist Type A personality. The recording really touched my heart! 😢. Thank you!
CherryBoo65 Boone me and my mom too!
Same here.♡
While being 25 weeks pregnant with princess number 4, getting out of the hospital after a 16 day stay due to a chronic illness, etc I dont have the energy to clean ir the desire!
Thank you for this video. I suffer from depression and ADD and it's hard to get going to clean. I'm learning that a clean house changes your mood.
Holding back tears 😭 when I heard Elizabeth Gilbert speak! Thank you so much for sharing this encouragement I needed this today!
Elizabeth Gilbert is amazing. Thank you for for the baseboard cleaning tip, it will be used often at my home.
Thank you for that ❤️
But you *should* try to be perfect...
Michael Inocente for who exactly? We all should try to do our best, and our best isn’t always perfect.
If you are not trying to be perfect, what are you trying to be?
Michael Inocente the best version of myself. Lol have a good day, buddy.
Perfectionism will steal your joy,,, gotta do your best and let the rest go... or you will be miserable and feel like a failure...speaking from experience
I love how encouraging you are. So gentle and such a Proverbs 31 Woman! God bless you all.
I love cleaning and organizing- it’s my “me time” to zone out and clear my head. Plus it feels good to see results.
I dont have to be perfect to be here. Wooooow I cried listening to this. In fact went and found it and sent it to my email. I suffer from severe anxiety. Listening to her and you has just soothed my soul. Thank you so much sweet lady.
Just thankful for all the moms in this world, and everything they do!
I love this video so much ❤️ I watch it when I'm having a hard time getting up and about. I love that it delivers an encouraging message and is under ten minutes (it seems to me that watching "cleaning motivation" videos that are half an hour long are... counterproductive)
This video was so incredibly sensitive. You're such a sweet, considerate person. ♥️
Our home is decluttered, but needs SERIOUS cleaning... your “dirty” home is how I wish ours would look like😅.
AllaCinderella ahahah I agree! we always need these type of videos!!! Small TH-camr here 🙃
Her dirty is my clean
Right!!! And it helps when you have a beautiful house and beautiful things!
This is the first channel that I've come across that actually motivates and uplifts me. My mobility has been finicky due to my back pain, I can't stand up or walk too much, but you are helping motivate me to keep going to have a clean home and not beat myself up over it not being immaculate 100% of the time
Your cleaning videos taught me what it takes to clean a home properly. And how to do it realistically and on a budget.
Wow! How inspiring! I unfortunately run my business from home so I'm a bit limited in the amount of stuff I can tidy away. I love your tips!
Crying 😢, Today, I am grateful for you.
Kathryn I’m at work watching your video during lunch. Now all I want to do is go home & clean. Lol love your videos! 👍
Great tips like usual Katherine! You are such inspiration 😍 I also love lessening to Elizabeth Gilbert! 🙏💕
I definitely needed this motivation today!!! I need to clean several places in the house today. 💗 Thank you!
Working on the garage RIGHT NOW🙂
I needed this so much! It is literally 2:15am and I have been paralyzed "thinking" about starting to clean for a Xmas get-together I have tonight. The reminder that perfectionism is just fear and that little mug with the quote is exactly what I needed. Thank you for being so inspiring!
Four years later and I am back again because you always inspire me when I am down . . . and my house is a mess! ❤
This video was so beautifully made! The voiceover was intelligent and relevant, and the music was in the background, not dominant or distracting.
Presentation and content were both excellent.
Thank you.. Thank you : )
Love love your videos!! Such an inspiration!
We had the same problem with the guest room which otherwise was our library. We solved it by putting in a Murphy bed with shelves around it. You can even buy a Murphy bed kit online and build your own, as we did so it fits into your room. Thanks for the great tip with the broom
Sharon Gariano I want a Murphy bed for my guest room! 🙃 I’d even like it for my own bed. 😉
Chronic illness has been my hindrance. So this video really brought a tear to my eyes, thank you for doing this 💖
That quote on perfectionism actually made me cry. I needed to hear it.
Your videos have really been helping me over the last few weeks.
Anyway, love your videos and I’m happy I found them ❤️
OOOH! Time stamps would be a great idea and reference point for those of us who struggle with time management!
Deanna Martin - Or... it just takes as long as it takes.
Ridiculous..
4:16...is my favorite part!!!! Thank you so much!!!!
Hey you! Yes you reading this...👁 May be tomorrow be better than today...let’s keeping fighting ❤️❤️
❤️
2:45 My baseboards will finally get cleaned! :D
Cool did we ask
😌✨
@@weepwillow9956 be quiet
Same! :) :D
@@beautifulflowers351 how about you
that Elizabeth Gilbert clip! thanks for sharing and for this cleaning motivation video. I love your home :)
I like seeing houses that are really in need of a cleaning.
I bet you love the show Hoarders lol
Thank you for this video. I’ve watched it a few times before. It truly does motivate me b/c getting started IS the hardest part, but seeing the difference in your rooms reminds me of the rewards that come. The Elizabeth Gilbert quote was spot on!
My 9 years old daughter really enjoyed your video! We're Italian, and she's learning english at school with an english teachet, so she smiled hearingan american accent. But mostly she liked to see you cleaning that quickly and she loved your house (we live in an apartment in a city) and how it looked after your hard work. Greetings!
