@@Mandatory-Fun True but the point was that in the show the Brotherhood has strayed from their way in many aspects, with more corruption, cowardice and instability infiltrating the ranks. People like Maximus are getting recruited just for the sake of manpower and very few are as indoctrinated to care for the overarching cause as what we see in the previous games, particularly FO4. They still maintain their values at first glance but we see that a coup is literally about to occur from the inside by the end of the show. They'd been at peak power, a more formidable force than almost any other known faction, for nearly two decades (since fallout 3) and they'd become complacent, similar to the fate of the NCR. However it's shown that some of the members (including that elder guy/senior scribe who's trying to take power) recognise this issue and are actively trying to rectify it, so the show writers clearly know exactly how the Brotherhood should be portrayed, and in every other aspect the Brotherhood is depicted pretty much perfectly for the lore - e.g. the emphasis on the religious aspect of the organisation (lacking in the other, especially later games), the initial show of power and heroism before revealing the ugly, postwar backwards side of the BOS, etc. The only thing I wish they added was energy weapons, but that was probably a budget thing
I think it’s an interesting take to showcase the Brotherhood as more watered down from having to recruit random waste landers.
