He is interesting its support/demo shotgun and explosiv weapons, he have some engine like electric trap and the ulti is a big sonic canon. Yes its the dors boy and more!
Man, the moment they talked about crafting, materials and how to farm them I kinda rolled my eyes, not every single game needs that stuff and Killing Floor absolutely doesn't...
Completely agree on that one, I feel like they should all be available to customize. Or linear progression maybe. But not that crafting mechanic, unnecessary and adds a layer of farm to a Killing Floor game IMO. It needs instant customization at least on the weapon parts... 🤔
Yep and I think COD BO3's attachment system would be ideal as you don't have to farm the game for it. I think it's there just the encourage the player to explore the map more, make environments more interactable.
i would rather using your favorite weapon and level them up with each kills and unlock attachment would have been better choices. i guess they want us to farm for materials in KF3. but we will see how grindy it is when release
I really think KF3 will go early access like KF2. It's still in Pre-Alpha, and a lot of content hasn't been shown yet: (granted that content could be made, and they just don't want to spoil it yet, but I find this unlikely) Berserker, Medic, the girl Zeds, full music composer list, other characters, etc. I don't see anyway for them to go from Pre-Alpha to 1.0 in the span of a few months. I don't mind if they do early access, as it worked well for KF2 (apart from the lootboxes) and KF3's EA will be launching with more day 1 content then KF2's EA if all the things that have been showcased is anything to go by. Speaking of which, this sneak peak makes me feel a whole lot more confident for this game. 100+ weapon mods, crazy new mobility options, Gore overhaul, a stronger emphasis on aiming for more then just the head, more horror-ish setting with the lighting and body horror, skill tree's that we can level up, etc. Looks like there'll be a lot more to do, and the gameplay looks like it'll take more thought and skill to win a game. Ugh, each month gets longer as we wait, I swear.
Yeah I think it will go into early access, I agree there is a lot more content on launch, I don't know about maps and stuff but looks like we are getting a ton of maps on launch. I can't wait to try out the 100+ weapon mods and attachments and also playing around with the skill tree to see what I can and Cannot do lol... I think it will be a fun game!
@@wezaatzk I also love how the maps seem to be more like KF1 not only in terms of lighting and detail, but also in size. These maps look HUGE, like Farm or Mountain Pass. KF2 had to many small/medium maps IMO, which is why I liked Castle Volter when it came out. Very welcome change.
Yeah It does look good with tons of mods and ammo types they are adding to the game, The system to unlock it is interesting and unique as it encourages you to explore the maps and salvage horzine tech.
Man this makes for such better content than "it doesn't look like the first game it's gonna be bad", there actually are a lot of cool ideas there and yeah crafting doesn't sound great but it really sucked to have upgrades that don't do anything visually or in terms of gameplay
I am willing to give tripwire a chance rather than immediately critiquing the game, but I am also cautious of it too, as there are some things which I hope tripwire can sort out. Apart from that I think some of the new stuff they added in such as zed abilities and attachments are cool, definitely much needed to spice up the gameplay!
@wezaatzk Reasonable and constructive criticism is essential of course, but sometimes gamers sound like they're never happy. "A franchise decided to move forward with new mechanics? They must be renouncing their roots and selling out, how unoriginal" "They're making a remake/remaster/faithful sequel? They're just selling a dlc or an older game at full price, how unoriginal"
Yeah it is difficult to please some people these days with games coming out, It's just the way some people are, and I'm not letting that bring me down... I'd rather have my own experience / opinion with games rather than what others think of it
@wezaatzk It might be a problem with people being focused on AAA games too much. I almost always find what I want in the indie scene and only look at big releases every few months so when something nice gets announced it's always a +
I come from the future, and I can tell you for certain that this game is not a Killing Floor anymore. They removed Zed time, you can no longer pick up weapons from fallen teammates, they took out the Stalker, added an Overwatch-style interface, and now there are in-game activatable abilities. Matches now have objectives like waiting for rescue, similar to Back 4 Blood. And last but not least, there won't be any perks anymore; they’ll be replaced by character abilities.
There is a small snippet of zed time in the first gameplay reveal, with the PC Gamer interview but then again that could be anything. I still think it will return one way or another. They removed the stalker as zeds now have these advanced abilities like climbing on walls, so it would make the game overly difficult is basically how they said it. - but at the end of the gameplay trailer in the art for the game you can see a stalker in the background image with spikes sticking out her back, so she could return. - as it is an early beta the stalker could be added later. I don't mind a rescue objective as Killing floor 2's objective mode wasn't that good, it adds realism rather then just killing a boss and ending the game. - Cold war zombies had a similar thing with the exfil system and that worked well.
This video from Tripwire and the post. Well now im getting hyped. I really like the Jumpy Fleshpounds! Its goona be Chaos. Zeds more "advanced" even Cyst can SPIT! Skilltree craft system is ok its something alot of mods.
The blades on the revolver appear to simply be part of the reload animation. The blinding effect of the cyst's ranged attacks can be seen in the PC gameshow gameplay trailer and developer interview, in one of the clips that are taken from a monitor. You can also see the pretty awful looking HUD in those clips, for which I left a long critique in their forums. I am overall very excited for this game, the perks being tied to a character doesn't make it a hero shooter, as unfortunate as it is, it will probably make voice lines more specific and meaningful since they're tied to certain perks. The HUD honestly scares me more than not being able to play sharpshooter as Mr Foster. I can paste my rant on the HUD if you'd like to peer into the mind of a mad man with 1400 hours in KF2. I just hate the hundreds of comments in kf3 trailers of people complaining about a perk having a permanent skin to it like it's the most important thing while no one looks at the actual game, this looks so smooth and fun I'd play it if my operator were a mute banana
I can completely agree with you on the HUD, It does look awful. I also made some comments on it when watching through the gameplay reveal for the first time, since then we haven't seen any HUD in the recent reveals so I think Tripwire might be improving it? We can only hope. As for the blades on the revolver, It looks like you can rappel ziplines faster with it if you watch further on in the video, that's my best guess.
Foster is confirmed to be a clone in KF3. So the OG Foster is probably dead. No one lives forever, lol. Nice breakdown dude and yeah, I'm hoping for proper early 2025 for release! :)
I don't want to craft, I don't want to mod weapons, I want to to get off work and drop in and out of a couple games and that's it. I got almost 1k KF hours and 600 or so KF2 hours. A lot of those are modded maps .
To be honest you don't have to mod or craft any weapons or anything if you don't want to, You can still play the game without it, but attachments do give your weapons advantages.
i feel like such an outcast for liking pretty much everything except the specialist system lmao. and this is from someone who grew up with kf1 and played kf2 til i was *sick* of it.
I'm the same, I like everything apart from the specialists which still give me mixed opinions but I don't mind them too much. So your not the only only one, I too and many others feel this way
I rather not follow the crowd, stand by my own opinion than relying on people's opinions and comments. YOU be your own judge and be unique, you dont need to be following people's footsteps. For me I personally don't care about the specialist system, there can be a good reason why they're adding it. As long as the game is fun and addictive, then I'm all in for it.
Man people these comments worry and overreact too much, im just glad theres alot of new stuff in the kf3. Theres alot of in-depth mechanics to work around where players can get creative with their arsenal, that I find really exciting and pretty flawless.
We all want the game to succeed and be the best it can be. the difficult thing is making the game appeal to everyone as we all have different opinions on what is good and bad in killing floor.
@wezaatzk that's the sad part, I just want the game to not shift into a cancelled game all because people don't like the specialist system, like c'mon now? It's not even that deep. It's nothing but negative energy on the forums and steam community page.
Man I miss so much killing floor 3 news now I can we got the hurricane bad and for the release date plz not in February bc February 28 is monster hunter wilds release date I be so busy with it i be play it on day one lol
I would totally turn the ak 47 with a grenade launcher under barrel, never trust me with weapons. And using the environment while killing zeds? I will waste my money on this game, my bank account will cry a lot
I think it's only a certain spot in the enemies' head that can trigger that. I know in KF2 it sometimes took an extra bullet or two to headshot certain zeds depending on their size so it depends on the zed type.
Make it even better as if you could actually roll like some of the souls games that make me real happy if that's a thing it would give tools to good players to play good basically being able to roll with s I love that s*** especially in remnant 2
I think the new specialist is the engineer that can provide some kind of utility that can fix broken doorways or they're just permanent.
Yeah I think so, i'm pretty sure he can even do something with ziplines around the map too
He is interesting its support/demo shotgun and explosiv weapons, he have some engine like electric trap and the ulti is a big sonic canon. Yes its the dors boy and more!

Maybe we can look for parts during trader time when our teammates are slow Hehe
i would rather using your favorite weapon and level them up with each kills and unlock attachment would have been better choices. i guess they want us to farm for materials in KF3. but we will see how grindy it is when release
It's just a way to unlock attachments by playing the game, the same way you unlock perk skills by playing the game in KF2

I have been awaiting the Return of killing floor time to dust off my Union Jack leather jacket ….HD2 killer ☠️🇬🇧
Yeah I can't wait to play this next year. I hope we don't have to wait too long
this game will be goated 🐐🗣🔥🔥🔥
It certainly looks promising, hopefully more info will come out soon!
I think killing floor 3 will not fail in its release.!
I think it looks promising so far, we just need more info and get a release date. Hopefully it goes into early access soon like KF2!
Foster is confirmed to be a clone in KF3. So the OG Foster is probably dead. No one lives forever, lol. Nice breakdown dude and yeah, I'm hoping for proper early 2025 for release! :)
I think the original foster might be dead too. With their being clones of him, that could explain how you can have 2 Mr fosters in multiplayer games?

Bet you anything the game's going to have in-store purchases of crafting material
I hope it doesn't become a Pay to Win scenario
Yeah I hope so too, I don't mind cosmetic stuff but if its pay to win then it won't be good.
I don’t DONT mind that i have money!!!😂😂

@@wezaatzk yep Let's hope and what day will them say the release date for kf3 🤔 it's only 2 more months before new year
I would totally turn the ak 47 with a grenade launcher under barrel, never trust me with weapons. And using the environment while killing zeds? I will waste my money on this game, my bank account will cry a lot
An AK47 With a grenade launcher would be good with flesh pounds. As soon as KF3 is available I'm buying no hesitation
I love this KF3! Love all the new things and changes! The character/class lock is not a problem for me and KF3 is day one!
Now that there is tons of tier levels and stuff you can do in maps, I think it will be very replay-able...
Why does a simple 9mm destroy the whole head. Only bs I hate in videogames, so lazy.
I think it's only a certain spot in the enemies' head that can trigger that. I know in KF2 it sometimes took an extra bullet or two to headshot certain zeds depending on their size so it depends on the zed type.
What if it's modded with special ammo or parts? As they said they wanted a tier 1 gun to be modded and viable late game
Yeah, the lack of realism there really breaks the immersion of a game with 8' tall drill-fisted zombies.
Make it even better as if you could actually roll like some of the souls games that make me real happy if that's a thing it would give tools to good players to play good basically being able to roll with s I love that s*** especially in remnant 2
I am sure you can do that in KF3, I think I did hear them say that they are adding rolling alongside vaulting, dashing and all that other stuff
