he has a shield of argent energy all around his body which is created by the suit, and even if he didn't have that there's still the divine blessing he got from the gods which makes him really hard to kill and unable to stay dead
Don't forget, there's costumes that make this scenario *MORE* absurd. The Barbarian costumes. He's in nothing but manly underwear, boots, and a crown. He doesn't suffocate in space, and he still feels nothing upon impact with the wall. Conan is a baby compared to Slayer.

Fun fact: Doom Slayer actually makes facial expressions after landing. When he shrugs his shoulders, he'll grit his teeth. This can only be seen in an unmasked skin like the Barbarians or Classic 2 Marine.
The Slayer kinda adjusted his shoulder like "Ow." After being shot who knows how fast from a cannon through a fucking building and the only thing the Slayer could do is kinda shrug off the impact like it just KINDA hurt a bit.
My favourite part about this entire scene? Hayden IMMEDIATELY knew what Doomguy was thinking of doing when he looked at the Ion Catapult.

The Slayer kinda adjusted his shoulder like "Ow." After being shot who knows how fast from a cannon through a fucking building and the only thing the Slayer could do is kinda shrug off the impact like it just KINDA hurt a bit.
