Honestly, I would really love to see a spin-off exploring the WORLD of Beastars. Like if Beastars does indeed take place in the anthro-equivalent of Japan, imagine what the other continents and countries are like? Here's why I think that due to the status of Herbivores, Carnivores, and Omnivores, the US in Beastars would be more broken, corrupt, and discriminative. 1. The main cities in the US would be more prone to carnivore attacks; While it's no surprise that the cities in Beastars US would be similar to ours, they would be more prone to Carnivore attacks due to the large environment of dark alleyways and sewers. 2. Innocent Carnivores who are near the attack site would be apprehended and accused; The nature of the authorities in the US not responding and always arriving when it's too late is no surprise. However, there's always the nature where they point fingers at the one not involved and arrest them. 3. The government would make false promises to solve the crisis and let it thrive; Like our government, the US government in Beastars would be more corrupt in not making a move to stop these attacks. 4. Herbivores would be more discriminative towards Carnivores and Omnivores; Considering the discrimination Carnivores faced in Beastars, in the US, both Carnivores and Omnivores would be discriminated against by Herbivores due to the carnivores' nature of eating meat as well as omnivores' nature of eating both. 5. More Meat Black Markets in Carnivore-populated areas; Like the Black Market we've seen in Beastars, there would be more Black Market areas in carnivore-populated communities in the US. The government would also fund the operations of these markets to reduce carnivore attacks as the meat would contain an ingredient that reduces the carnivores' instincts from going feral. Anyway, that's all for the head-canon.

I think they might have changed it because there was a kid's show called Lamb Chop play along and they don't want legal problems. Like in the manga One Piece Zoro was called Zolo because of Zorro.
They cut Sebun's character a lot, honestly. Not only did they change her name, but they took out the entire fact that she's suicidal, which is also why they changed the way Legosi and her meet. Her character had so much more to her in the manga, and they just reduced her to a normal neighbor who had a couple guys at work bothering her. There is SO much more to her story than that, and the anime didn't show it.
I didnt know this had another season, one of the things I loved about this arc was the little micro-community Legoshi has with the other tenants in his building. A quietly bold statement showing that despite being the dropout, Legoshi managed to be happy on his own path
I'm only disappointed we didn't see Sebun's first interaction with legoshi when she straight up tries a signal to tell him to eat her because she's tired of life.
I knew Legoshi is bigger than the average gray wolf, but I never realized just how big Legoshi truly is until now. The size discrepancy between Legoshi, Seven and those two bullies really puts it into perspective.
Holy crap, I usually just go sub on most anime I watch, but this dub is really good. The emotion is there too, usually dubs tend to be too bombastic to cover the additional mouth movements or take up dead air.
I understand why she’s angry but it seems silly to lash out at the person helping you. She’s been taking people’s shit for years but cracks when someone actually does something on her behalf.
She's mad that people just respect Legosi. Doesn't matter that he's a weird kid, people respect him because he's a huge, scary male wolf and she's a tiny female sheep. She can't take that anger out on the people actually being mean to her, so she takes it out Legosi, who is kind and safe and relatively harmless to her
Notice how this was all about the sheep feeling inferior and getting the short end of the stick on the social ladder to predators but the security officer takes no time saying hello report legoshi to the cops for doing nothing. Legoshi is so used to being stereotyped and profiled that he thinks it’s totally fine that everyone does it to him.
0:42 Brother, If nobody is gonna say it then I will. Why in the fuck is he trying to buy those clown ass shoes? He trynna cop the fucking yeezy clown edition? He is finna join a fucking basketball game for clowns so he needs the air clown ones.
Glad I'm not the only one who suddenly shipped Seven and Legoshi. 😅😂🤣 His experience with her is pretty similar to Haru's when you think about it, BOTH women were nearly devoured by him, both decided to trust and befriend him despite knowing (or suspecting in Haru's case) they he was going to devour them.
It's small but the fact that the stranger threatened to report Legoshi showed her that everyone has their own problems, just as he was thinking of the issues small herbivores have that he never considered.
This is why I love beastars As someone else pointed out Paru Itagaki’s writing of women and men is incredible. The women aren’t angry because they are man-hating or just herbavoirs who have an inferiority complex they have depth and substance just like the Male characters. Haru’s backstory was handled beautifully and Sebun reassured Legoshi that it isn’t him she’s mad at but the fact that she can’t do that herself and the situation HAD to be handled by someone else. Known of the characters in this show are one-dimensional which I really appreciate.
Still though, facts are facts, She spent years being bullied at it was not until an actual man with real concern stepped forward that the bullies pulled back. We live in a world that is certainly filled with someone bigger, better or stronger and they can be good or they can be cruel and no amount of hoping to smile and get away with it can change the fact that reality needs protectors and rules to help the weaker people in society.
Omg she is so CUTE! I love her green eyes 😍.... I didn't watch the new season yet, did she appears more or not at all? *Only in that scene, i liked her so much more than Haru* 😂
I completely forgot about Beastars. I only watched season 1, have no idea what could have happened in season 2 but this short scene already made me remember some of the ending season 1 scenes.
I don’t know. I feel like the book made it more clear that Sebun just never actually told her coworkers that she didn’t like the nickname, so later on when she’s frustrated it’s clear she isn’t actually frustrated with Legoshi she’s frustrated because she knows that she didn’t have to put up with it. Not saying it excuses her coworkers actions but it does provide a little more context, they never actually knew she didn’t like it and so as a result they feel genuine remorse for their actions. The changes here just made it feel too confrontational and it felt like the deeper subtleties were lost.
Legoshi did in a moment what she could have done at any time. When these bullies are called out the show remorse instead of offense, as if just realizing what jerks they have become. This totally pissed of Sebon because she pretended everything was fine instead of confronting this issue and lashed out at Legoshi as a way to vent her bottled up frustration. Next time on Beaststars Oh, no. What's wrong? Sebon, I need to ask you something. Okay. This is very difficult, but, uh... What? What?! [ Clears throat] Well, as you can see, there is a door in front of us. Yes, there is. I would like to open this door for you, however, I understand the gender-based biases that this could imply. Why do you need to open the door? I don't need to open the door. I'd just be opening it and holding it the same way I would for Louis or anyone else. Somebody's going to have to open the door, or we could die out here.
You really think it's that simple? Women are constantly put down for trying to assert themselves. We get called 'bitchy' or a 'Karen' or any number of derogatory terms. They didn't listen to Legoshi out of respect for him as a person, but fear of him as a large carnivore. If Seven acted the same way, they'd probably laugh at her and say she's overreacting or can't take a joke. Women should not be held responsible for the crappy behaviour of men.
My mother is so like seven, in terms of personality and if things get kind of bad or just feel wrong for the ISFJ the defender personality let’s just say that they will get mad at you but like in a disappointing kind of sense like yeah you blew it but you know just go with it. Just don’t think about it anymore or what just happened, and all that, has my own mother is so like her in more ways than one, as I feel exactly how Legoshi feels, within any situation regarding him and his Marino sheep neighbor.
The animation is better, but if you’ve read the manga, you’ll see that legoshi and the characters have much more expressions, for example when she storms off she has a very funny angry face in the manga, the same when legoshi meets sea people for the first time, this coul’ve been so much better anímated in 2D.

She is gorgeous
Yeah, she's got to deal with things he'll never have to deal with...but she wont get arrested just for raising his voice or getting frustrated.
I knew Legoshi is bigger than the average gray wolf, but I never realized just how big Legoshi truly is until now. The size discrepancy between Legoshi, Seven and those two bullies really puts it into perspective.
OMG Seven is adorable
i need more of them
Big kid and small adult moments.
Holy crap, I usually just go sub on most anime I watch, but this dub is really good. The emotion is there too, usually dubs tend to be too bombastic to cover the additional mouth movements or take up dead air.
Legosi just being tall everyone drops
01:45 - 01:50 (Laughing) Good Grief! (Laughing) That Scenery Came Out Of Nowhere When She Said That. (Laughing)
I understand why she’s angry but it seems silly to lash out at the person helping you. She’s been taking people’s shit for years but cracks when someone actually does something on her behalf.
Sounds like you don't understand.
@@sarenarterius6058 sounds like you don't deserve the help.
She's mad that people just respect Legosi. Doesn't matter that he's a weird kid, people respect him because he's a huge, scary male wolf and she's a tiny female sheep. She can't take that anger out on the people actually being mean to her, so she takes it out Legosi, who is kind and safe and relatively harmless to her
It was a bit unfair, but I don’t think her anger was truly directed at Legoshi. She even tells him later he didn’t do anything wrong.
Isn't her fantasy that Legosi eat her? In the literal sense
It's just happen that Legoshi haven't realise his worth in the society yet, that why Seven think he's still a sniveling kid.
This story is so real. Our society is so corrupt and we have all these dinamics and complex feelings ...
Life is complicated.
Never thought I would see the anime version of Zootopia again lol
Her voice like Futuba from Persona5
She reminds me of the pink Girl from persona 4 with Brown Hair she wear Pink clothes she scolds that much
@@JasminKrieger-z9x you mean Haru from Persona 5?
@@BreezeOfOnett nope i mean yukari persona 3
@@JasminKrieger-z9x Ah, I forgot about Yukari. I beat persona 3, my memory was fuzzy at the moment.
@@BreezeOfOnett Well the Made 3 Versions of persona 3 AS in Upgrade IT so
It's small but the fact that the stranger threatened to report Legoshi showed her that everyone has their own problems, just as he was thinking of the issues small herbivores have that he never considered.
Not sure how or why I was recommended this from a gaming channel but I LOVE THIS
Aww bless her ❤❤
Sebun! The Queen has arrived!
Beastars is genius
You cannot convince me otherwise that our boy is NOT autistic.
"im sorry i acted without thinking and that was rude"
RUDE??? MY LIL BOY JUST ASKING ABOUT SHOESH 😭😭😭😭
I find funny how seven is being speciest for how much more respect legoshi gets only for a police officer to harass legoshi for being nice 😂😂
1:45 sips coffee. oh here we go with this shit
This is why I love beastars
As someone else pointed out Paru Itagaki’s writing of women and men is incredible.
Women hating men are not common in anime in general, and if they do hate them there's deep in their reason to not liking men.
Them sharing a drink is so sweet!
Still though, facts are facts, She spent years being bullied at it was not until an actual man with real concern stepped forward that the bullies pulled back. We live in a world that is certainly filled with someone bigger, better or stronger and they can be good or they can be cruel and no amount of hoping to smile and get away with it can change the fact that reality needs protectors and rules to help the weaker people in society.
bestars my beloved
Legoshi is everyone’s bodyguard
I mean you did unload on him with all of your frustrations and then you expect him not to apologize
"I am not furry but...." Ah moment.
Leogshi IS the Scary Dog Privilege
I like how she doesnt even yell at him
Like yeah shes upset but she doesnt raise her vlice past a point
Its cute ☺️
What kind of name is Seven?
It’s actually Sebun but translations and whatnot
Pronunciation is Sebun, English spelling is seven (But yeah, it's weird)
I assumed it was a Japanese name! 😂
That's George Constanza's name for his first son
I like how he gets to be the big dog while also being discriminated against in back to back scenes I quite like this show
Gods, I can related to Legoshi.. ugh. Ah well, can’t help who I am.
Omg she is so CUTE!
I love her green eyes 😍....
I didn't watch the new season yet, did she appears more or not at all?
*Only in that scene, i liked her so much more than Haru* 😂
Wish we saw more of her in part 1 of season 3 hopefully we see more of her in part 2
Wait were getting more than the 12 eps? Or am I wrong
@ yeah we are
This series looks good I think imma watch it
Fair warning, don't let family walk in on you watching it. There's some...scenes.

I completely forgot about Beastars. I only watched season 1, have no idea what could have happened in season 2 but this short scene already made me remember some of the ending season 1 scenes.
Do you wonder how Legoshi got a neighbor? Why he isn't in school?
This Is the most Bisexual Anime Ever
I Mean besides Jojos
I usually don't like eng dub but this is just cute. And 5% awkward. But pretty decent acting, I'm kinda impressed.
Honestly beast ara is a good anime and so far I really enjoyed the new season, just a few episodes away ^^
didn't even know there was a third season..
legoshi got dem pukeko feet
DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man, Beastsars having a 3rd season yet no sign of a second season of Land of the Lustrous
He help bringing shoes, make others respect her. Try to apologies and HE NEEDS TO RELAX A LITTLE ? Thats why good guys become dark
He did not bring the shoes ,she was helping him to get cool shoes since she work for the brand and his old one suck
Wait, did they remove the scene with Legosi's foot?
How do they wear socks?
0:41 sound like Butt-Head laughing
I don’t know. I feel like the book made it more clear that Sebun just never actually told her coworkers that she didn’t like the nickname, so later on when she’s frustrated it’s clear she isn’t actually frustrated with Legoshi she’s frustrated because she knows that she didn’t have to put up with it. Not saying it excuses her coworkers actions but it does provide a little more context, they never actually knew she didn’t like it and so as a result they feel genuine remorse for their actions. The changes here just made it feel too confrontational and it felt like the deeper subtleties were lost.
Well, well, well. Carma. 😏 1:14
...
Karma??
@@aaarony-818 That to.
This is legit too good
Legoshi did in a moment what she could have done at any time. When these bullies are called out the show remorse instead of offense, as if just realizing what jerks they have become. This totally pissed of Sebon because she pretended everything was fine instead of confronting this issue and lashed out at Legoshi as a way to vent her bottled up frustration.
Next time on Beaststars
Oh, no.
Legosi got high Intimidation.
2:30 - 2:42 Love that.
reminder the ending is dont stop carnivores from eating herbaivores just do it less
Seven so cute xD
they should have kept the nick name as 'Lamb chop' like in the sub
**Me after seeing 7:** I'm not a furry...BUT!
I recognize that profile picture 😳
The animation is better, but if you’ve read the manga, you’ll see that legoshi and the characters have much more expressions, for example when she storms off she has a very funny angry face in the manga, the same when legoshi meets sea people for the first time, this coul’ve been so much better anímated in 2D.
