You dropped some real gems! Everyone always says to work smarter, not harder but working a 9-5 is not working smarter to me. There’s so much time that gets wasted just because you have to be there all day even if you’ve finished everything!

Exactly, 9-5 and you can’t leave before your shift is done. Prisoner 🤷🏾‍♂️❤️

Some people really work better within corporations vs being an entrepreneur or small business owner, and this is coming from an entrepreneur. The real problem is having to work to pay off debt. If we can keep our cost of living expenses low and avoid major debts, we can work part-time and still live a great life.

    • @CatherineCherlene

So true, very good what you said, we just have to keep our cost of living low and live within out means! thank you for watching

It is slavery in the sense that it takes so much of our time. If we happen to enjoy the work, it's palatable, but more often than not, the work is tedious, mind numbing, soul stifling. Passive residual income is the way to go, if we can get it high enough to live on. I'm making $$ digits a month off stock photography and video (contributing more to get that into triple digit $$$), $$ digits a month off audiobook royalty share and am building up my TH-cam channel to get it monetized.

This was a great video 👍..also I noticed having a 9-5 job u can't travel or go visit other places in the world! U are physically tied to ur location! U have to show up to a "building" everyday and sit there for 8-10 hours a day before they let u go home, I havint been able to travel these last 2 years because of my JOB. I am required to physically stay prisoned here in comuting distance to my job all year around 😔

Whew glad I am an Entrepreneur. I've been running my own videos for 7 years. I love your accent by the way. We lost your voice a few times in the video but the message was still clear.
I believe school is extremely important for specific Industries. Specifically ones that have to do with being responsible for other lives (doctors, nurses, pediatricians, neurologists pretty much the entire medical field) As well as politicians and law the research and understanding is extremely vital.
Education and life skills are extremely different, and I think you shouldn't go into school believing it teaches you about life as a whole. Because then yes you will be disappointed.
P.s. investments while you are working making a world of a difference

Modern slavery is real! I agree that everything is about getting a job and there should be more life skills taught. However, I also don't think everyone wants/needs to be an entrepreneur. You need to know what is best for you and your situation. Regardless of the situation, I agree that we don't get paid enough and they use us to work without enough paid time off.

Worker bees are needed for you to be free though....

Interesting points. I will respectfully agree to disagree with this stance for most. Those with a drive and follow through to be self employed, are willing to educate themselves on the business side of things, they can probably pause on college. Those without the above, schooling might just be the vast ground they need to explore the array of options perhaps never thought of. Thanks for this discussion. I am going to pose this topic to my friends and see their thoughts.

I get your point but just because the system is faulty doesnt mean we shouldnt try, this defeatist attitude just ends up with people lying on their couch all day depending on their parents or relatives who are working through that slavery but dont want to bother trying because "what's the point" a 9 to 5 shouldnt be the end all be all, it should be a step to becoming self sufficient independent people who can support themselves and live their dreams. Life isnt just about having enough money to turn up and Instagram celebrities dont have real money, they fake it and have no skills. Real people work hard to succeed and not at a 9 to 5 but for themselves!

Lot of facts here. Damn elite system

  • @longbeach225
    @longbeach225 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

The system is rigged against us to keep us cooperate slaves. Universities are not worth it these days. Often many people are graduating with ton of debt and getting a low pay job. Schools never teach financial responsibility and entrepreneurship. Good thing, I woke up. I started saving money by living with roommates and now I have enough to launch my own business. I'm opening a e-commerce store.
I hear people tell me starting a business is risky and if I lose it I will have no income. I tell these same people what happen if your company goes under or they decided they do not need you anymore They get rid of you. At least with a business I can analyze how to improve and my income can go as high as I want as long I put in the effort. With 9-5 job you can put in the best but still get paid the same. They may give you a bonus and promotion with scrap money they tack on more work to your schedule.

I would love your input on my situation. I feel the exact same thing about the school system
. I hateddd it and always felt like I wanted to go out and learn in nature.
My dilemma is, I dropped out of high school at 17 (i’m 26 now) and never finished. No problems with finding a job and I have noooo desire to start university (want to work for myself one day) but now I don’t know if i should basically finish high school idk....what would you do?
Everyone should watch your video on this subject soooo true!,,

Life Choice thank you for the comment ✨
      I would say it depends.
Idk if you’re in America so the school systems and stuff is different. But I’m assuming you are in the US. I personally would have tried to finish school at least even though I failed lol our school is up to 16 here. But even if you don’t it’s not a big issue.
It depends what you are trying to study in the future though, or trying to work on. Then that way you would know if you would need to go back .
The internet teaches you way more than school does anyway. So do some research and self-development is key.
Hope I helped in some way! Xo

We're inclined to believe that we're more intelligent than animals, plants ect ect 🤔🤔🤔🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
our educational intelligence have resulted in us being work slaves, whereas our work and work schedules have us on continuous job lockdown mode which states we have to "die to survive"
    even though essentially we're just
    "living to die".🤔🤔🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
our educational intelligence have resulted In us seeing life only as material possessions, and status, while condemning others, who dare,to think differently because they see, outside the world/society's prison walls, and then consciously decide to live alternatively.
our educational intellect have resulted in us being overwhelmed with crime, debt, homelessness depression, suicide, ect ect
Fundamentally speaking are we really intellectual creatures.
the old age battle, between education and plain human common sense.
in my opinion philosophy is the real teacher and education in life.

It is modern day slavery unfortunately. Most people will deny the truth. And university is definitely a business transaction. In the age of information school is indoctrination... It's to program us to be employees instead of Business owners, entrepreneurs. I cannot wait until I start working for myself. This is a great video and I love your channel. Exactly! School should go up to 15 or 16 from there they should let you choose a Vocational skill to pursue and teach you financial skills and time management skills during that time. Then if you want to you can get further education in college but it shouldn't be mandatory for high paying jobs. I've decided to go my own way and live on $50k then invest the rest.

Education is also a form of indoctrination.

True talk. We get all this masters and or PhD we can’t get the reward easily. I think entrepreneurship pays than education
