Is it common for Yukon Gold potatoes to be that big over there? Where I am in Canada, if I am lucky, I may get one or two Yukon Gold potatoes that are half that size in a bag (and I have to feel through the bags to find a bag with bigger potatoes), and I remember large Yukon Golds are usually roundish. Also, they normally come in sizes about a third of the potatoes you keep using or smaller. Either the conditions where you are happen to be better than here for growing potatoes or your Yukon Golds are different than the ones offered here.
