Appreciate the lower trim Mazda 3 hatchback review. 99% of this car’s reviews are either highest trim model, turbo and/or AWD. I suspect by doing that type of review highlights the best Mazda 3 can offer but at the same time seems like a marketing strategy for consumers considering the Mazda 3 hatchback to buy the highest model. Buying the highest trim = higher profits…
I actually bought it as I wanted manual transmission car so I got premium trim with FWD, which is only trim that come with manual. 🎉The handling is fine with me and I live in New Jersey. I am very happy with the car.
The info system placement looks as though it would be subjected to too much of the sun's rays especially here in Florida with a car kept outside. Anyone have a problem with it being affected by the sun/heat?
I test drove a Corolla last week. It's infotainment screen sits much higher than this one. That sucker was scorching hot to the touch. I was thinking that this isn't going to last long. And I'm 1250 miles north of the Florida border. Will be interesting to see how long they last
I own this car, and for the most part I like it. However, there are a few disadvantages that have got me thinking about trading in for something else: - The backseat is horribly cramped. I don't have kids, but sometimes I do go on short road trips with friends and it's uncomfortably tight. - Due to being so low down to the ground, it's uncomfortable to get in and out of, especially as a tall person. - Terrible rearward visibility, mostly due to the huge C pillars. If it weren't for the blind spot monitoring, I probably would've already gotten into multiple car crashes - Mazda's technology is starting to feel a little outdated - no touchscreen, no wireless Apple Carplay/Android auto, no USB-C ports - The seatbelt alarm is very annoying and I don't see why it has to go off when the car is in park The pros of this car are that it's very stylish, fun to drive, and has a very premium-feeling interior. It's a great value for the price. However, I'm starting to think that maybe I should've opted for a CX-30 instead...
I’ve been looking at this model for a couple of weeks. Eventually I want to get a newer vehicle and was looking at this and Subaru perhaps the wrx but the newer model is not really getting my attention. I want a sporty AWD since I like to go snowboarding but I like that Mazda offers the turbo trim with AWD which is win because then I can convert it into a rally like hatchback if that makes sense.
@@2685544526855259 I love it but if I were you I would get the AWD version of the carbon edition. I got the FWD and kinda regret it but still love it haha.

Nothing is perfect lol 😆
Cx-30 isn’t going to give you more room
@@xz_.001 very true... esp at this price point lol
Have you looked at the Civic Hatchback? I test drove it yesterday, it was so much fun to drive and has way more room than the 3.
Touchscreens? Really? Touchscreens are a driving hazard, good to know you think this, now I can ignore the rest of your comment, thanks.
Looks nice and seems like it drives nice too. Love the grey alloys 👌
The Mazda logo means a seagull spreading out its wings as it flies.
