Somebody should point out to Maher that equating current student protests as support for Hamas would be like equating the Vietnam protests to support for the VietCong or Communism or Russia. The Vietnam War era students were protesting the war, our role in it and the slaughter of civilians (and the loss of American lives). Students today are protesting Israel's war, our role in it, and the slaughter of civilians. IT'S THAT SIMPLE. No one is supporting terrorists, or the enemy. His Islamophobia is so deeply embedded that he can't see how twisted his logic is.
