Can someone please explain to me how do politicians convert the campaign donations into usable money? I understand the legalized bribery but I can’t see how that money can be funneled to their personal pockets to be really corruption. I am not American so just want to understand the whole concept
Money that is donated to their campaign. Is used for anything related to that campaign. So essentially how they funnel money into their own pockets a good example is Donald Trump. If he host an event at a whatever venue he hosts that event charges him a fee it would be paid for by the money that was donated to the campaign. Thus going to the owner of the location that the campaign was held. Buy him owning that property it means he's paying himself. The campaign finances the donations pay for the staff of the. So by having his children his family members and stuff working. He's essentially giving them the money all he has to do is say that they are campaign staff. He's not supposed to do that but it's not really a law against that.
