My niece is 3 years old and was not even a year ago incredibly scared of any kind of bugs, but after watching a BUNCH of your videos and Dark dens about spiders and other arachnids she’s gotten so much better with he fear of spiders and has started requesting we get her a tarantula. Most of us are a solid no on that at this point in time since she’s 3. But I think it’s important that you know that you helped a little girl get over her fear of not just spiders but all kinds of other bugs. She requests watching your videos every day. And knows who I’m talking about when I ask if she wants dark den or Kat. She always starts with you and eventually moves on to petco.

She is here to remind me of the passion that I had as a child when I would go outside in West Texas with my flashlight, sit on top of our propane tank, and watch the wild Aphonopelma hentzi's (Texas Brown Tarantulas) "fight" each other in the summer (it was mating season, child me!). She is also here to remind me of the joy that I had in Middle School when I adopted a Grammostola rosea (Rose Hair) for two weeks for a school science project and how disappointed our family was when we returned her after getting a 100 on my speech breaking down arachnid behaviors. Tarantulas have always been fascinating to me, but my arachnophobia had always gotten the better of me. I think it was only a matter of time after I found both of your channels that I would bring a Tarantula into my home to help me get past the hurdles of my fear again. You explaining your personal fears with spiders certainly had a lot to do with that - so thank you. Ashlea

I had one of those jumpers until she escaped yesterday! I think it was a Hentzia Mitrata, she was such a joy and I hope to see her around my house some. She was super curious and friendly. 😊

Get a plain coloured umbrella. White if possible is good. Get someone to hold it upside down under some branches then shake the branches. This works very well for finding jumping spiders.

oh your A ezendami came out I basically NEVER see mine 😢 it stays underground all the time I put feeders and it still wont come out but the feeders are always gone the next day. one time it changed its burrow a but and it came up to the plastic of the enclosure so I could shine alight in and kind of see its bum but as soon as I started doing that it changed the burrow again and I cant see in any more
Just found ur channel really enjoying. Highly recommended a Ecuadorian bird eater. Big spider but really chilled. We used to have a green bottle blue but lost her on a bad molt😢
Your P. Metallica needs a better hide. If she was more secure with a dark hide then you could entice her to come out for feedings, She needs to feel more secure or you will just see panic behavior. Just my 2 cents.
You might think I'm weird but I saw 2 light anomalies at the beginning of the video, the 1st one that shot down into the top of the couch by the front door, and the 2nd shot into the couch. Just look and you'll see it.
