I got the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) in 2021. At that time, 1 dose was considered fully vaccinated. Today my civil surgeon office for the i-693 form says that all I am missing now is a booster because the 1 dose isn't enough. Are they trying to get extra money from me or is it really a requirement now that J&J vaccines need booster?
I can't easily find the answer. You can read through this: www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/clinical-considerations/interim-considerations-us-appendix.html
@@AudraDoyleImmigrationLawyer What if they're not "applying" for anything but entering the country illegally? The border is insecure. Why not just enter the country that way? This is logic so simple that a child can understand it. Spare me the legalese.
I'm a UK citizen looking to immigrate. I have my first two COVID vaccines (one Moderna, the other Pfizer. I don't know why they gave me two different ones either) but I absolutely DO NOT WANT THE BOOSTER JAB. I've heard if your last COVID jab was more than 12 months ago, you have to have another. I have C-PTSD which does compromise my immune system, and I had an adverse reaction to my second dose. Can I get any kind of waiver to the booster shot if I get a letter from my doctor, or am I out of luck here?
Follow up to help others: you require a COVID jab if its been more than 6 months since your last. This includes the booster. No waiver is granted unless on religious grounds you reject ALL vaccines since birth. You must also provide proof of your last COVID vax. Hope this helps.
I'm planning to travel from India to USA to attend a conference in September. Will stay there for about 10 days. I never had any vaccination for covid. I can't take one now because I had a heart attack last year. Can I still go to US? Please answer. Also, are there any other vaccinations to take before going to US?

I’m here bacuse i needed to get an immigration medical exams again as my medical exams were expired. My question is it still required to have a covid vaccination? (For immigration medical) thanks in advance 🙏🏻
Hey ma’am, I have a F2A us immigration interview in India in July. But I haven’t taken covid vaccine and covid vaccines are now not available in India. Will that be a problem?
Hello Ma'am..i have immigration interview with my children this Dec 20..but my two kids arent vaccinated. Can i just submit a letter to the immigration consul that upon arrival to US, they will get their jab because there are no available vaccines now in our area.
Hi Audra thanks for providing the useful information. I am about to file I-485 - I have received 3 Pfizer shots (2 booster was in 11-05-2021). Do I need to take the newer vaccination ?

So does this include everyone pouring in through the border?
Yes it does apply to anyone who is applying for a green card, including asylees.

Exemption will cost extra $900
It's called a waiver and yes there is a filing fee.

Has there been any case where exemption was approved? I don't have any vaccine of any sort since birtj. Any news on when they will drop it??
Yes I have had one approved. No update on when they will drop the requirement.
Does the immigrant who is under 18 requires covid vaccine?
Typically yes unless it is contraindicated.
