I had to put in my application for envoy air again for their ramp and customer service… I have two family members who works American Airlines. Ones a ramp agent I think and another as a manager for crew scheduling for flights like pilots and what not. I’m trying to work at the airport that is about a 20 or 30 minute drive from my home, it’s a small airport but it’s not small in a traditional sense it’s more so small in a large scale as in they don’t get many planes coming in and out, cause no one wants to visit the desert of Texas 😂
@@TheBohemianTraveler they told me my application was unfinished when I applied again and checked it everything’s there and updated, and now I’m doing the waiting game again. But since it’s small. I’m sure they aren’t hiring a lot of people for the airport, if I move I’ll have to apply for envoy or American at the DFW airport if they’re hiring. May have to ask my brothers friend who works for them or my brother up in the HQ for American.
@@TheBohemianTraveler I got an interview! For the part time ramp and customer service. This will give me experience in customer service for air lines and I may transfer to the DFW international Airport in a few months if I get hired.

Hey girl...!!! Every day I get to enjoy your vids even more. It is so exciting to see parts of your daily routine - thank you for sharing that with us. Working the jet bridge looks pretty cool, and you get to be THE FIRST person on a plane - Yaaaay...!!! Let me tell you something, you ARE one classy woman! You are so eloquent and well composed. That makes you such a professional individual. Hugs from a neighbor in CA. 😘😘😘

So it looks like the customer service agents are the ones that drive the jetways. That's sort of cool. I love big vehicles (trains and planes) and have been in a retail position for two years after graduating college, kinda in a limbo phase. Airline employment is one of the options I am considering, especially since it is a place to learn the ropes before finding upward mobility towards applying the urban planning and public policy that I had studied.
Wow looks like a dandy fun position. Workin the jetbridge/jetway looks great.. would be cool watching you work the controls there.. awesome video too !: )
Flight papers? Do you mean the paperwork to print for the flight attendants and pilots? The pilots have weather and other stuff on theirs and flight attendants have all the passenger names, seat numbers and if they have any special designations or needs.
Are there any non skilled jobs for the airlines that are not stressful. I thought I seen security officer job that you would be an employee of the company.
There are probably some jobs behind the scenes that would probably be less stressful. Maybe working for the airline’s credit union? Maybe google and research that. Great question. Most security officers are contracted out, so they don’t get the same flight benefits. Hope this helps!!!
