    I got the Velocity 2 last year and the toe box was so narrow i thought i got the wrong size. I nearly sent them back. I stuck with them and 3 weeks later they were perfect.
    900km later and easily another 200km left in them I'm so pleased i kept them.
    I'll take a punt on the Velocity 3 when the time is right.
    Cheers Fordy

    Given the quality of the Nitro foam and Puma Grip, I think VN3 looks pretty good compared to daily trainers in the price range (Novablast, Pegasus, Ride 17). The elephant in the room is the sales out there on the Deviate Nitro 2.

    The older I get, the more I value versatility and comfort. I love Pumagrip for versatility but I have pretty wide feet, so I've moved away from Puma towards Asics which I find work for me - Novablast 3 TR was my shoe of 2023!

      I've also have GT2000-12TR. Great fit, responsive but the outsole lacks the grip of Puma, specially on wet sidewalks. Running in Lisbon sidewalks looks like trail running 😂

    I love mine so much and weirdly seem a bit roomier than the V2 to me. They’ve got the grip, they’ve got the look and they are great on the run. Saucony doesn’t have the grip so in this way they seem superior to me. Thx Chris!

    Thanks. I guess it's more narrow than your average shoe, but if it's not more narrow than version 2, which I have, it should fit fine for most with standard width. The two things I was hoping for was a lower drop to 8 mm, and they need to get their sizing right. I wear an EU men's size 42.5 in every other brand, which would be a size 9 in North America and, I think, a size 8 in the UK, but I need a 42 in all my different Puma's (5 pairs), and even then my toe room length wise is too generous. I could probably downsize again. It's not a problem running, but sure wish they would standardize their widths to the other manufacturers - I have run in most of them over the years. But, will order this shoe when available. Cheers!

    Recently picked up the Magnify Nitro 2. I don’t see any reason to go back to the Velocity Nitro line after getting miles in the Magnify. They feel just as nimble, maybe more with more protection in the higher stack and a slightly wider platform which adds a little more inherent stability/support.

    I wore these shoes for a week and in my opinion they were too narrow for me and the left foot ached at night really bad. Beautiful shoe and I didn’t care for the material which felt like thick nylon threads. Sent the Nitro 3 back.

    Velocity Nitro 2 had two major problems. 1. An upper which soaked swet and water. 2. It was as strangely unforgiving on longruns. Will not try the third version.

    Hey Fordy, so I guess the question here is width. Is the toebox narrow/cramped on these ? (So far all signs point to it). I tried the deviate nitro 2, and returned them due to a very cramped and tapered toebox/forefoot. I personally have a average width foot, maybe even leaning more towards narrow than wide. Puma so far seems like slim fit skinny jeans to me. I have a pair of Magnify nitro 2's on the way to me, hoping those are more of a "relaxed fit".

    • @Fozzee.1970
      @Fozzee.1970 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Cos the Deviate nitro isnt for slower paces and I also find it very harsh. Whilst it works for some people at slower paces it's more of a tempo trainer. Plus it has a plate which a lot of people don't want in a daily.

    • @bobwundaye
