    The mirror is used to communicate between Front and Rear seats. Lots of hand signals :-)

    A stearman pilot replied to Into the blue simulations review of this aircraft and he said the stalls in a stearman are really gentle in the real aircraft. He also said the roll rate is way too high and the drag is too low for the sim model. DC Designs replied to the guy and it sounds like they are in contact and some changes will be made to it.

      awesome. ya i thought its rate was pretty high. i mean you can custom your sensitivities in the meantime. ya the drag i noticed was too low when coming into land it seems like a space shuttle with its landing energy. even with all that its still puts a smile on your face with how detailed it is and just the experience flying it.

    On our Stearman, we could only set the throttle at 1/8" bump up for starting or you will put it up on it's tip toes.
    This looks like a great program!

    Spectacular take off! If it was in real life it could've ended up on the weekly dose of aviation

    I can assure you that the real plane has a very sluggish roll rate and a lot more drag that the model. DC designs are aware and should be working on improving the model, they’ve already made some progress with this new update. Hopefully they will bring us another update soon ?!?

      I need your expert help SpitfireFlyer I am confused, can you tell me the direction of the engine should turn, did all the Stearman engines turn the same direction and the speeds again? Thank you.

    The VR sounds like it still needs some work, especially compared to the A320, CJ4 and CRJ which you don't need to close your eye to use the buttons/knobs etc. Otherwise looks like a really fun plane

    That lock lever seems to lock the fuel selector into the "on" position so you don't accidentally kill your engine midflight?

    Good in depth review, thanks. btw - can you tell me how you are doing the fixed camera views. ASOBO really dropped the ball not including a Fixed Spot camera

      I believe it is the drone cam, and there is an option to not follow the aircraft in drone cam mode.

    Disappointed in sound and also no farts and spits out of inverted? These are the things that make this plane so much fun to fly! Felt somewhat generic despite great modeling, the rest was kind of, mah.

    It's more expensive on the marketplace because Microsoft (or Asobo, can't remember which) takes a 30% cut of the price so it's only fair on the developers if they raise the price so as not to lose profit.

    • @DCDesignsMSFS
      @DCDesignsMSFS 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is incorrect. Microsoft charge prices at an international exchange rate, which is why it's slightly higher on the marketplace, due to the current dollar value of the pound. Point of sale in the UK remains fixed, hence the difference.

      @@DCDesignsMSFS Not what I was told when an airport developer was in the process of getting his work onto the MSFS Store but I'm sure what you said has some truth about it :)

    • @DCDesignsMSFS
      @DCDesignsMSFS 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@user-wh1vj8em5o Microsoft do take their 30%, if that's what you mean, but that's entirely normal for a digital vendor. The price of the Stearman is $14.99 everywhere, but that works out at £12.49 I think it is in the USA due to the exchange rate. It's £10.99 here. It's actually bad for us developers as somebody buying in Peru pays much less than someone buying in Europe, so we as developers make less money depending on where something is being purchased.
