Paris Olympics: Indian K9 Team In France Capital For Ultimate Security Cover

Ten specially-trained Indian CAPF and special commando force dogs are in France. Focus on counter-terrorism and anti-sabotage security cover at Olympic venues. Paris 2024 formally begins on July 26, with the closing ceremony slated for August 11. The 10 Indian K9 (canine) teams will undertake sniffing & patrolling duties at venues. Indian officials stated the teams have been given a special 10-week training. The first-ever collaboration of canine squads between the governments of India & France. The teams, along with their handlers, are drawn from Indian Forces like CRPF, SSB & ITBP. The teams have also been drawn from the elite commando force NSG and Assam Rifles. The Paris Olympics 2024 will see the Games return to the French capital after 100 years. Paris will be the second city after London to host the Summer Olympics for third time.

We (Bangladeshi Students) are terrified. The quota reform movement was very peaceful in Bangladesh. The students of various universities have been peacefully protesting for the reform of quota system in government jobs and recruitment based on merit. But today Bangladesh Chhatra League workers supported by Awami League government attacked ordinary students in this way to suppress the movement. This is how the Bangladesh government suppresses opposition by using its workers. However, ordinary students were agitating with logical demands. It was a completely non-political movement. But as the movement spread to the universities of the whole country, the government thus resorted to the tactic of suppressing the movement with its workers.
