Don't know why NYC is call the city that never sleeps. A lot of shops, malls and restaurants are closed at 10pm, let alone 11pm...even in Time Square. Hong Kong is the true city that never sleeps. I've been to areas like Mongkok where it's still busy/happening at 1am.
This was super helpful and the editing was so good ^_^! Will be going to HK in 2 months so definitely will use this as reference! Dragon Centre is so close to my grandparents' place in Cheung Sha Wan so I can't wait to go to Apple Mall and see the cute boutiques~

Namita Mohinani Brace yourself for a long reply haha. If you haven't watched it already, I have a video on local shopping areas (th-cam.com/video/WeBElgmkqqA/w-d-xo.html). To be honest, I don't know the opening hours of these local shopping malls because I usually go in the afternoon or at night. If you get a chance to go these local shopping malls, I particularly recommend Dragon Centre (fashion and cute Asian things) and Kwai Chung Plaza (fashion, accessories, local food). I show both of these places in my HK part 2 vlog. Note that these places aren't the best for tourists since there's usually no fluent English speakers, but stores usually have signs with prices on them. If you want to be on the safe side, you can consider the more famous, tourist-friendly malls. These malls usually have a website with posted opening hours and are more easy to get to (either the MTR connects to the mall or is near the mall). Some of my favs are Langham Place in Mongkok (featured in HK part 1 vlog), APM Mall in Kwun Tong (a good mix of international brands and unique shops), Landmark in Central (featured in HK part 2 vlog - high-end retail mall), Times Square / Lane Crawford (featured in HK part 2 vlog - Causeway Bay). Hope this helps and have a great time in Hong Kong!

totally agree!!! MongKok is a busy place, even until 1am
HK's Time Square at midnight is still as bright (literally) as at noon. Just as happening as well.
