Thanks for tuning into this tour of my apartment 🥹 It's crazy to think about how this is my third move within Singapore and each time I move into a new space, I've always set a goal for having something that's meaningful for me. My first studio in Singapore was 290sqft so I didn't have much room to get any furniture, let alone have friends over! So my goal for my LAST apartment was to get my first ever couch. Fast forward to today - while moving into this new space, the item I really wanted was (finally) a dining table. I used to eat all my meals at my work desk and when friends came over, we'd have to sit on the floor at the coffee table. While this was cozy, I very quickly outgrew that space as someone who loves cooking and hosting 😅 There's still so much I want to do with this space, such as getting plants, but I'm so happy with how it has turned out within a short few months of moving in...so I hope you enjoy this video xx
This video reminded me that I need to make more $$$. Furnishing this wonderful place couldn't have cost any less than 10-15k CHF, which is insane to think about. Thanks for sharing (and motivating)!

Congrats to a fantastic apartment. I don't understand how people can say that SG property now is almost as pricey as Hong Kong, this is easily double the price in HK if you rented this around the budget you stated in your previous video. Lovely!
I just recently move to HK from Singapore.. HK is still more pricy if u wanted similar sized apartments. 1 thing good about HK is there's cheaper alternative compared to none in Singapore. 😅
@@ernestkj It depends on the area you're looking at, but trust me, I'm from Hong Kong and I've been on an apt hunt in the past few months in Sg (currently living in SG), cost of rent here in SG has gone insane, it's a little better now comparing to the past couple of years, but still ridiculous. I agree that part that if you're looking for the same size, it could cost more in HK (but again, it depends on the area), and agree on the 'no alternative' in SG part!
It's nice to see how we all share similar types of housing/furnishing aspirations and must-haves at the same milestones in life, so it will be interesting to see how your preferences change again when you are at another lifestage (hopefully you'll continue to want to live here for the foreseeable future) but it's heartening to see how you've finally got more space to arrange and share your artistic expressions (nice hanging fixtures) and a study room that's already about as big as the last space! :) Good on you!
For bigger living areas, definitely go for older estates as the size of the apts have been steadily shrinking through the years. You're fortunate the landlord renovated the apt so it doesn't look so bad. You landed a good one. 👍

Great looking apt. I like my 32" 2560 x 1440 monitor. it is $220 USD on Amazon. The gradations are not smooth but it's huge and low priced.
