    Wow this is a long video!!! I love it! If anyone feels that is it too long that have to realize that you cover three bags in this video and more. I really appreciate that you include the perspective of the bag on the motorcycle. For the motorcyclists out there thanks!! 🎒

      Thanks for watching the whole video. And you are right: It's long, but each bag is covered for about 15 min on average, so if you consider just one segment of the video it would be a regular length video.
      Btw, what bike do you ride?

      @@Youknowthebo I ride a 2017 Triumph tiger explorer and I inherited my dad’s 2002 Harley Davidson Wide Glide. Probably gonna put more miles on the Harley when it is under 100 degrees in Texas again.

    The Grams 28 one is a very specific backpack for me. I don't use it as my everyday essential, but I use it when I need to look a lot more presentable and when I'm doing light travels. I see it as a very professional high quality backpack with some camera bag features. I would never put my usual shoot equipment here, but an X100 or similar body camera and a few accessories would be perfect with this. My true camera backpacks are the Wandrd Prvke 21L and the Brevite Jumper. I love the Wandrd Prvke because it's a very functional back loading camera backpack that doesn't scream camera backpack while the Brevite is a far more capable backpack that is excellent for travel and looks like a school bag.

    Western Rise Meta Shell is pretty neat for a packable rain jacket that turns into its own sling

    The shift pack v2 is perfect to carry gym clothes, shoes, and all your tech, lunch, protein shake. You can probably throw in boxing gloves, hand wraps, towels if its fully packed out.

    For the Grams28, if camera gear is in it, you basically cant put much in the rest of the bag’s main compartment right? Because anything you put in would be rubbing against your camera and lens.

    • @Youknowthebo
      @Youknowthebo  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is correct depending on how you put the camera inside the cube and what type you are using. Depending on the height it could be protected by the walls of the dividers (ie. Imagine an egg in a glass, the glass is higher and therefore can protect the egg being crushed. But even if, as long as you don't throw stuff inside on top of the camera, I believe you are not going to damage your camera. Most cameras can take a lot of abuse in my experience

    I am currently enjoying the Bellroy Via Backpack as a minimal pack and has a similar silhouette to the first bag jn this video. I also have gone through ridiculous amounts of bags and sometimes the most simplest one are the ones that are very effective in use. That being said I also have great love for my CPL24 Mirror. Hope they made it in 16L mirror. Awesome video 🎉

    Re: Alpaka's Shift pack. Looks like the shoulder straps are the same as the ones on Heimplanet's Motion series, but maybe the foam on the Alpaka isn't as dense... Just an observation :)

    Hey Bo, thanks for this and for all your videos, it's great to hear your perspective on edc gear. I want to start trading some of the gear that I've accumulated over the years but as I'm also located in Europe and most of the FB groups and reddit subs are mostly american-centred, I was wondering whether you have any suggestions for fora or groups or subreddits that one can trade carry gear within Europe. Thanks again!

      Thanks for the positive feedback. Unfortunately I don't know of a EU based group like that. I hope there will be one in the future though

    Thanks Bo. First of all thanks for another great video. It's been interesting since seeing your reviews since Carryology days. For office I wouldn't pick the leather bag as I feel it's not the right form factor for the material. I'm thinking Indiana Jones leather briefcase - not great for your back but stylish classic. The 3rd back is the right material but it is just a bit too complex. The first bag I do like the form but it's too shiny and plastic looking. For the office I did carry as much as you do but in the last 3 years I since tuned my carry. I always get allocated a laptop for work and also we get work lockers. So now I keep a spare mouse and mechanical keyboard as well as a small first aid kit at work. I always take the laptop home now since I can choose to work from home. So I do not need the charging plug just the cables as the workstations at work have USB A and USB C sockets. I can also use my laptop as a charger in a pinch so don't need a powerbank. My "tech pouch" has a charge cable, 3 fountain pens, small screwdriver for glasses, memory stick. Other than that I have an umbrella and A4 notepad, building pass, keys (has nitecore light, small tools, memory stick attached). Good discussion about pricing and availability.

    Why am I seeing political ads before your video? Can you opt out of accepting money for political ads?

    • @Youknowthebo
      @Youknowthebo  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      Unfortunately, on TH-cam the creator has no influence on which ads are served by TH-cam to the viewer. Ads on TH-cam are as far as I know always algorithmically selected to the viewers behavior
