I put all of my covergirl cheekers in one z pallette type thing. I have almost all of them. They are in a nice gradient order and I just bounce around. I end up pulling it out almost every day to tweak whatever blush I have on. I really don't need any other blushes lol
@Enigma.of.solace🔸️ I'm not sure if the pans are magnetic or if the sticky glue is how they are staying in the pallette lol. I did it over the summer and they are still in there really good. They don't move around at all.
Shimmering Sands is my new favorite eyeshadow!! I love that there's only 3 colors. Huge palettes are overwhelming and unnecessary; most colors won't ever be used.
As a kid of the seventies and eighties I will tell you that the Covergirl pressed powder is a classic. We couldnt get enough of it and used up at least 2 compacts a week. We would use it in the crowded bathrooms at school and put it on in class. It was amazing and I still use to this day. We loved the smell of Noxema in it. I love it. I dont recall any sparkely things in it.
BTW. A good hack if you’re cooking is to save curling eyelashes and mascara for right before the guests come over. Opening up the hot oven can make your eyelash curl drop as well as make mascara smudge. I do all my makeup and save lashes and lips for right before company comes
LOVE THIS!!! Please do more natural toned down makeup looks. I am a CNA in a nursing home. I don't need to look like a beauty pageant queen everyday. I just want looks that are simple and easy to do. I don't have 30 minutes to sit and put on makeup. By the way, I haven't worn Cover Girl in years. I was a teenager in the 80"s and Cover Girl was my jam!!! I got the foundation after you mentioned it in your Emily awards, in the same shade since we are similar skin tone, and natural beige was the perfect match… Rite Aid had the ELF duo brush so I grabbed that too and it’s a new favorite! I love Covergirl and Milani because they’re cruelty free and PETA certified. Makes me feel extra glamorous to wear makeup that is friendly to our furry friends. ❤

Now that I'm almost 52 I'm having a hard time with liquid eyeliner. Can't see as well in the mirror,, wrinkles and eyes watering. My old favorite crack and flake now. I'm on that mission.

I will take you way back to the 70’s when I was using Cover Girl foundation in a glass pot and the sable blush. I don’t remember the trio of blush but mine was in the blue plastic case that looks the same to this day. I used the blue single eyeshadow. Hey it was the mid 70’s. Lol It’s the only thing I wore for my whole high school experience. Lol it has definitely passed the test of time..❤
The Sophisticated Sable is literally what I wear everyday. It's perfect. I replenish from Amazon continually. I use its highlighter, then top with a but more of the Essence Nude Highlight, it's perfection.

You talking about the grip of a square shape brow pencil vs a round, gave me a flashback of these triangle shaped, silicone “pencil grip” type of things that you slip over a Number 2 pencil. I think they came in a multi pack. I’m going to try and find a pack and see if they’ll fit on makeup pencils. I’ll report back!😉
I LOVE THIS LOOK! Thank you!!!! This is the perfect look that is both beautiful and elegant yet doesn't scream over done for my daily life of grocery store and church! I have placed an order at Walmart! The concealer (and I use it, another influencer said it was a close dupe for Kosas - no idea, a bit out of my budge for a concealer lol) is Covergirl True Blend Undercover Concealer. I have mature skin and although there is not a lot of texture and fine lines they are there and this concealer doesn't cake or highlight them. You need to use a light hand but the coverage is excellent. Again thank you for this simply gorgeous look that is accessible and very reasonably priced (budget and inflation limit my high end purchases but I love make up). Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Just wanted to say thank you for using the Rimmel Bronzer in place of a Covergirl one, so often when youtubers don't have a product from the drugstore they substitute it with something high end and say 'you can use whatever Bronzer you have' but I always wish they'd use a drugstore alternative!

We also appreciate the accessibility in your national parks, museums, etc. We loved Zion Park, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Santa Fe, Sedona..... I didn't wear makeup on the trip, so I'm enjoying experimenting with products only found in USA I picked up on my trip😉

Cover Girl used to be very affordable, but it has become expensive for drugstore. The powder in the pink compact is $17.99, the foundation with the red cap is, I think $14.99. I did recently purchase a cheekers blush. I no longer own Shimmering Sands, but it is a good basic. Thanks Em.

🎉 what a nice surprise! How to make a Friday even better! The Outlast is surprisingly good. I got the outlast and and the smoother foundation on a whim when I saw a good sale. Don’t like the smoothers a whole lot as it gets shiny quickly on me and slides right off in no time. I don’t think I had used a CG foundation since high school decades ago and I was so impressed by Outlast staying power, definitely be a repurchase. Anything that stands up to FL heat and humidity on my oily skin is a real winner.
Covergirl is such an underrated brand. After your recent review I bought this foundation and I love it. I wore it on thanksgiving. I’ve been using Shimmering Sands for a while now. I do pretty low key eye looks and this palette or one of the Clinique eye duos are really all I need. One of my holy grail eyeliners is the exhibitionist 24 hour kohl eyeliner pencil. It goes on smoothly with no tugging. I also love the tinted lip balms. Now I’ll probably have to pick up the blush palette and the lipstick. They both look great.
Emily please do a full face of Covergirl's Simply Ageless line,(the purple packaging) they've recently came out with new products, a concealer, mascara, and some beautiful lip products 💜💜💜, CG was doing liquid lipstick before it was cool, Outlast lip products wouldn't budge, it was like paint🤣🤣🤣, seriously! I wore a shade of it on my wedding day in 2003, it had on the packaging to use eye makeup remover to remove Outlast, great video 👏!

This look 👀 is so pretty 🤩. Ever time I go to the store I always stop by the Cover Girl 👧 section. I feel they have gotten pushed aside for other products but CG can hold there own. The red top 🔝 I absolutely love ❤️ and have gotten more compliments on it when I wear it. I don’t think 🤔 you can go wrong with CG. They were my first makeup 💄 brand I started using when I started wearing makeup 💄.
Covergirl Clean foundation was the first makeup I really was introduced to, when I was in 7th grade. My bff and I wore the same shade. Shimmering Sands was the first neutral shadow pallet that kinda turned me off on neutrals. It blended right into my skin color (think dirty brown hair, green eyes, and Casper skin tone). I loved their bright colors though! I'm 52 now and still wear bright colors.

Before bronzer became popular, back in the late 90s I used that cg blush to give me the feeling of a bonzer. Like I'd use the darkest color along my cheek bones then above that the lighter shade, then the highlighter. I loved it then and I love it now as I have the sophisticated Sable color too!
Your videos are just delightful! You should try the Cover Girl simply ageless lip flip liner. It has a unique shape (an angled rectangle). I think you would enjoy it!
The last time I was in my Ulta, they had completely gotten rid of their CoverGirl and Revlon sections, and shrunken Maybelline to like 1/4 of what it used to be. I know they’re always adding new brands and products to their inventory and all, but I kinda hate that they’re abandoning some of the OG staple brands that so many so of us still use and love. Walmart is where it’s at, baby!!! 🔥👍🏼 Also, I’m so thankful for you and for this upload, Emily. The lip reminds me of the Nivea black cherry balm. That is a staple bc of you from yrs ago. This one is just a little more opaque. But you can build up the Nivea too. But I am going to have to try the cover girl one. I’m cooking thanksgiving dinner now. Right now I’m peeling sweet potatoes. And the turkey is turkeying. Lol. I’m loving the look. :)
The Covergirl Outlast primer is great to to wear as a mattifying primer. Someone recommended it out TH-cam short to wear under a powder foundation. I love it! ❤️ I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!

I completely agree! It's great powder! Every girl I knew back then had this powder back then. I still use it today, too. I love the Noxema scent.

You talking about the grip of a square shape brow pencil vs a round, gave me a flashback of these triangle shaped, silicone “pencil grip” type of things that you slip over a Number 2 pencil. I think they came in a multi pack. I’m going to try and find a pack and see if they’ll fit on makeup pencils. I’ll report back!😉
I LOVE THIS LOOK! Thank you!!!! This is the perfect look that is both beautiful and elegant yet doesn't scream over done for my daily life of grocery store and church! I have placed an order at Walmart! The concealer (and I use it, another influencer said it was a close dupe for Kosas - no idea, a bit out of my budge for a concealer lol) is Covergirl True Blend Undercover Concealer. I have mature skin and although there is not a lot of texture and fine lines they are there and this concealer doesn't cake or highlight them. You need to use a light hand but the coverage is excellent. Again thank you for this simply gorgeous look that is accessible and very reasonably priced (budget and inflation limit my high end purchases but I love make up). Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Just wanted to say thank you for using the Rimmel Bronzer in place of a Covergirl one, so often when youtubers don't have a product from the drugstore they substitute it with something high end and say 'you can use whatever Bronzer you have' but I always wish they'd use a drugstore alternative!

Cover Girl used to be very affordable, but it has become expensive for drugstore. The powder in the pink compact is $17.99, the foundation with the red cap is, I think $14.99. I did recently purchase a cheekers blush. I no longer own Shimmering Sands, but it is a good basic. Thanks Em.

OMG! Shimmering sands! The OG of my makeup collection. I'm so thrilled they still make it! What I wouldn't give for a new tube of Revlon Virtual Violet or Violet extreme lipstick. And did anyone else have the Brownred lipstick from Jane? I felt like it was the be all end all of lipstick.

The Outlast is surprisingly good.
I got the outlast and and the smoother foundation on a whim when I saw a good sale. Don’t like the smoothers a whole lot as it gets shiny quickly on me and slides right off in no time. I don’t think I had used a CG foundation since high school decades ago and I was so impressed by Outlast staying power, definitely be a repurchase. Anything that stands up to FL heat and humidity on my oily skin is a real winner.
Covergirl is such an underrated brand. After your recent review I bought this foundation and I love it. I wore it on thanksgiving. I’ve been using Shimmering Sands for a while now. I do pretty low key eye looks and this palette or one of the Clinique eye duos are really all I need. One of my holy grail eyeliners is the exhibitionist 24 hour kohl eyeliner pencil. It goes on smoothly with no tugging. I also love the tinted lip balms. Now I’ll probably have to pick up the blush palette and the lipstick. They both look great.

Emily please do a full face of Covergirl's Simply Ageless line,(the purple packaging) they've recently came out with new products, a concealer, mascara, and some beautiful lip products 💜💜💜, CG was doing liquid lipstick before it was cool, Outlast lip products wouldn't budge, it was like paint🤣🤣🤣, seriously! I wore a shade of it on my wedding day in 2003, it had on the packaging to use eye makeup remover to remove Outlast, great video 👏!

This look 👀 is so pretty 🤩. Ever time I go to the store I always stop by the Cover Girl 👧 section. I feel they have gotten pushed aside for other products but CG can hold there own. The red top 🔝 I absolutely love ❤️ and have gotten more compliments on it when I wear it. I don’t think 🤔 you can go wrong with CG. They were my first makeup 💄 brand I started using when I started wearing makeup 💄.

Covergirl Clean foundation was the first makeup I really was introduced to, when I was in 7th grade. My bff and I wore the same shade. Shimmering Sands was the first neutral shadow pallet that kinda turned me off on neutrals. It blended right into my skin color (think dirty brown hair, green eyes, and Casper skin tone). I loved their bright colors though! I'm 52 now and still wear bright colors.

You look beautiful, Em. I use two eyeshadows every day despite my massive eye shadow collection. For ease of reference. MAC Texture on the crease and MAC reflects gold on 2.3 of the lids. Tight line mascara done. For a Pro MUA, I'm looking for anything but simple but I ensure the skincare and complexion is perfect. Sometimes a wing. Thank you for this video. I'm from South Africa, so I don't have access to many brands you mentioned but I try to get similar products. Don't forget to LIKE guys. YT is messing subscribers.
They have some good bronzer in their line that's for darker skincolors at CVS. They got colors that work for all skin tones. They look matte

Before bronzer became popular, back in the late 90s I used that cg blush to give me the feeling of a bonzer. Like I'd use the darkest color along my cheek bones then above that the lighter shade, then the highlighter. I loved it then and I love it now as I have the sophisticated Sable color too!
Your videos are just delightful! You should try the Cover Girl simply ageless lip flip liner. It has a unique shape (an angled rectangle). I think you would enjoy it!

The last time I was in my Ulta, they had completely gotten rid of their CoverGirl and Revlon sections, and shrunken Maybelline to like 1/4 of what it used to be. I know they’re always adding new brands and products to their inventory and all, but I kinda hate that they’re abandoning some of the OG staple brands that so many so of us still use and love. Walmart is where it’s at, baby!!! 🔥👍🏼 Also, I’m so thankful for you and for this upload, Emily. The holidays have been hard since losing my mom last year, but getting to “spend time” with you always lifts me up! 🫶🏼

I don’t think Ulta does well in sales with their major drugstore brands. You can buy the same products so much cheaper at Walmart or Meijer.

The lip reminds me of the Nivea black cherry balm. That is a staple bc of you from yrs ago. This one is just a little more opaque. But you can build up the Nivea too. But I am going to have to try the cover girl one. I’m cooking thanksgiving dinner now. Right now I’m peeling sweet potatoes. And the turkey is turkeying. Lol. I’m loving the look. :)

The Covergirl Outlast primer is great to to wear as a mattifying primer. Someone recommended it out TH-cam short to wear under a powder foundation. I love it! ❤️ I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!
