These videos are insanely good bro. You’ve singlehandedly opened up the Gatineau region for me. Thank you. Hi from montreal🙂🙂🙂🙂 I really like when you go over the trail on Trailforks during the video. Love it!

Glad to be of service! Forgot the maps on this one but I linked the fortune trail map in the description. Cheers!

Thanks for making these, its shown me the opportunities for this kind of mountain biking in the national capital region. I've now been riding a lot in the gatineau park, mostly the new trails by wakefield near P17.

I never knew about these trails. I have already emailed my crew that we are hitting this up in 2021.....if we can.

Really well done as usual Chris! Good skills too. love watching these. Always makes me want to get out and ride. I'm so weary of double d's at fortune, they're so nuts compared to anything else. I'll have to put a day aside and take my time to session these runs... video's like this will definitely help with that.

Hey!! Been loving these trail overview type of videos lately.
I was looking for a new bike and I was wondering if you could give me some suggestions. I ride Fortune and the Gatineau Park. Some other things to note : I’m 6’3, I’m a pretty aggressive rider and I really like nimble and poppy feeling bikes. My budget is 4000 CAD.
I have trouble finding a bike that's really adapted to the terrrain here (I don't wanna be overbiked or underbiked).
Thanks, and keep up these great videos!

      Hey, thanks!
I think you’d be right at home on something like the Specialized stumpjumper EVO (alloy) or something like my Norco sight. Long, and slack enough to handle the fortune jank and still not too big to ride some XC stuff.

Great vid man! You do an awesome job at finding camera angles that convey the actual size and shape of what you ride. Btw I was at the mine trails yesterday and there was a team of the NCC tearing down all the jumps and drops and fun features around the 41. Do you know more about this?

There was a sign in there saying the trails were unofficial and were going to be removed.

Yeah I knew they were going to get destroyed at some point... sad. We need a (sanctioned) local skills park with actual jumps, drops and berms so that people can practice and actually progress.

@@CapitalMTB For sure! Pretty much all the nicest features in the park are built by volunteers who actually ride the trails.
