I"m planning a trip to camp fortune and have been enjoying your trail breakdowns of many of the trails in that system. I see you're running the new Sight - are you running it with mixed wheels or full 29? My bike can do either and i'm wondering which configuration you prefer? Thanks
What runs would you suggest for us 40+ years old that are in that novice/intermediate bracket, where we have over-confidence vs skill, but smart enough to try to stay out of situations that keep us from getting to work the next day. Would love to check out CF, but I always hear how gnarly it is compared to all of the other options in the capital region.
There are definitely no easy trails at camp fortune but I’d suggest starting with the trails on the valley side Brian’s trail, social decline and black bear - then do salamander, liquor and smokes and maybe national on the DH side. With all the work that’s been done the DH side is way less sketchy (still not easy though). Take it slow take it easy ✌🏻
I don't think I've ever done the top of Smell my Finger. Will have to ride it this year! Thanks for posting Chris
Sometimes I think I’m an okay rider, then I watch you videos! 🤣
Absolutely shredding! 🤜🏻💥🤛🏻

Thanks dude! I’m running my sight as a mullet. I am planning on trying it as a 29er soon though!
classic fortune with some moderately sketchy builds sprinkled in there. Sick !
Never let your guard down!
looks pretty good... I def want to spend more time at fortune.... just hope that dirt holds up and doesn't wash down the mountain over time.
It should hold up great, everything from last season is still running really well.
How did you climb back up to the top? Did you just take humdinger?
Yep Dunlop to humdinger 😮💨
@@CapitalMTB Jeez, how long does that take you?
On a good day I can do two laps an hour.
damn looks like i need to get myself over to camp fortune!
Looks awesome!
Dude it’s unreal!!
