    As someone who doesn't wear makeup everyday, my favorite thing about the Baby Skin pore eraser is I can wear it without makeup and it really does blur, and I like the way it feels on my skin.

      @@stephanieholiday Sometimes it just seems crazy how one product will work well for one person, but be crap for someone else.
      Beauty is both a highly personal thing and yet a reflection of the zeitgeist of a society, and so few things compare, and that's what makes it so cool.
      I have found quite a few Rimmel products on sale on Amazon, and anytime I can pay less and not have to actually go to Walmart, I am happy! 😂
      I also didn't realize how old Rimmel is as a company. I still prefer e.l.f. because it's my favorite, but learning about these pioneering English beauty brands also makes it feel like we are part of something bigger than just a pretty face!

    Strange... The Rimmel primer did nothing for my oily skin... I really liked it's texture though. I'm so gonna try the L'oréal one. I actually really love the can't stop won't stop primer! I have such oily skin and this is the first and only time I've even gotten to the end of the day without having my makeup slide off or smudge. I do reccomend only using it where you get really oily or creasy (around the smile lines) and using anothet primer everywhere else otherwise it does feel stiff.

    • @stephanieholiday
      @stephanieholiday  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi Silvia!
      When I was researching best primers for oily skin, the elf poreless putty didn’t come up. I think because that primer is best for large pores which is why I didn’t include the primer in the series.
      I love the elf poreless primer because I have huge pores and it really does cover them up, I do also think it’s great for oily skin. I feel like I can’t really put this primer and the primers in the series in the same category only because I feel like the primers in the series are really good for oily skin and the putty primer like I said is mainly for pores. I now actually double up on the primers. I use the L’Oréal infallible primer that I rated as #1 and then put the putty primer in my pores and it is the perfect combo!
      I hope this made sense and answered your question! 😊

    There is a primaer which I ran across on Amazon. Before 4 weeks ago, never heard of it. By Loreal, it's part of that Age Perfect Line.
    It"s pink in color ,, comes in a tube which looks exactly like their foudation in that line. I ordered it and tried it alone, not with any thing else so far.
    Have you heard of it? I got it on Amazon a month ago.

    • @stephanieholiday
      @stephanieholiday  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually haven't heard of it but i looked it up just now and it looks so pretty! I love L'Oreal products, this brand has definitely found the perfect ingredients for their products!
      What do you think of it? Do you like wearing it on its own and under makeup?

    • @KaraLey98
      @KaraLey98 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@stephanieholiday what I like about it is that it fills in what you call the "smile lines" on either side of my mouth, right at th corners, and even after moving a lot, talking, etc, the Loreal stuff doesn't flake off, just kind of makes those little grooves smooth & filled. It seems to stay moist enough to move with the face if that makes sense, ever without makeup on. I do not usually put makeup there, in grooves on sides of mouth, bc it dries & cracks/flakes, judy use a separate tinted moisturizer to fill them, and that looks good -- the eir can't distinguish that there is a tiny difference there, unless it's my eye of course checking it out!!. I haven't paid too much attention to whether or not it's an all round good primer, will be doing that over the next few days. My go-to primer is the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Face Base. I use that almost exclusively. I think it's great but it costs more than the Loreal, which is only about $10. I'm quite happy to have 3 new good options after watching your Primer Video!!👍🏼😊

I do have the Bobbi Brown Base in a sample size but I haven't tried it out just yet but I need to. I hope you find some more good options of primers for you. I’m so happy that you love my videos!! 🥰
      To answer your question, when I was researching best primers for oily skin, the elf poreless putty didn’t come up. I think because that primer is best for large pores which is why I didn’t include the primer in this series.
      I love the elf poreless primer because I have huge pores and it really does cover them up, I do also think it’s great for oily skin. I feel like I can’t really put this primer and the other primers in the same category only because I feel like the primers in the series are really good for oily skin and the putty primer like I said is mainly for pores. I now actually double up on the primers. I use the L’Oréal infallible primer that I rated as #1 and then put the putty primer in my pores and it is the perfect combo!
      I hope this made sense and answered your question! 😊

      Hi! I've never used the Mac Studio Sculpt foundation before so I'm not sure about that combination. It help to put setting powder on top of your primer and then put on foundation to soak up any excess oil. Then use an oil absorbing sheet right after you put on your foundation to help soak up any excess moisture. Hope this helps!

      Hi Jessica!
      L’Oreal infallible is $12.99
      No 7 Airbrush is $19.99
      Rimmel is $6.99
      I think I’d you are truly focusing on the best bang for you buck, then Rimmel is the way to go as the other 2 are pretty much double the price. I also think that the L’Oreal for $12.99 is going to be the best for performance while still being affordable. Hopefully this answers your question! 😊

    I think all elf primers are just CURSED. I’ve tried all the different ones. I have dry skin, which means I have to use very specific serums and face products. Whenever I try to use the primer it doesn’t mix well with the skin care products I use if. It does ball up which is annoying, and with other skin care products added on my face it left stringy sticky residue. Idek it just sucks.

    I forgot... I've never tried that e.l.f. primer, but I do have the Pore minimizing primer (not the putty) I use both it and the putty a lot of the time, and I've had a lot of success with it. I wonder if something about the acne fighting ingredients didn't agree with your skin care? I actually have to be careful with the Pore minimizer because I also have aging skin (😭😭) and it can actually suck up too much oil. I also like the Pacifica primer I've been using. But there's nothing like the putty for the pores. Okay, I'll stop babbling. I was just looking for another primer to try... why, just cause it's kinda fun finding good products that work, so of course I come back to your videos. I am definitely a fan. You really do the best, most thorough job at all of these products. Thank you again!!
