This guide is insane, usually most Mexico guides just conquer central America and then move on to the US, but you got almost all of south America, UK, France and Spain before going after the US
Very helpful, great guide, but I have one little thing to add. At the start of the game you can assign your biggest ship a status A Pride of the Fleet for free which will give you 5% war support.
Thank you so much for this! I tried playing as Mexico several times but the USA always stopped me whenever I tried declaring war on them, I can't wait to try it out!
Hey, It's me, that one dude that was in hospital (Third Rome video), I'm ok now, but really busy. Anyways... I wanted to say that it's incredible how you and your channel evolved. I joined this channel at updated japan guide and now i see how much more confident you become, how videos become better and more optimased. And I really proud and happy for you, man; you litteraly learned me how to play the game - i literally didn't know how the game work, how i am suppose to hire armys, when to build mils and factories, which templates to use and etc. Your videos maked want to play the game, they are just perfect for everyone. Oh dang i didnt expect this guide but thanks for this one! I always felt like mexico is extremely underrated and almost always a great time, i always try and conquer north and south america to touch the top on bottom of the screen Mexico is just that perfect middle power, no great power but they just steamroll if given a chance with rapid early expansion and the 3rd highest pool of manpower in the americas. The secret Trostky mexico is weird and fun too! I just wish the troops had voice lines Anyways now i have to go show my friends this guide to prove to them im not crazy, that mexico is crazy strong in hoi 4! Thanks again 😂
I think I definitely do the expansion focuses later than you and it does make securing the islands in particular a lot tougher due to their limited tiles and the update to ai. I always thought that taking Haiti would be easier as they were democratic and in theory would have a harder time getting out an army, but as you have shown the Dominican is easier to take. One trick I used to beat Haiti easily was to leave a couple units in the two tiles in the Dominican and send the rest on a naval invasion order so when you declare you can let their units move in to the first few tiles of Haiti leaving their core states practically abandoned
W guide but I would like to recommend you to make a "honour of navy" (no idea how to say this in English) in the beginning of the game. Free war support and some small buffs 👍
Thank you for this guide, great work. South America goes like a charm, sometimes even faster as in your run. But Europe stalls me and when I am trying to invade the UK following your plans, the Royal Navy screws me big time and also South Africa becomes a major. Nevertheless, will try again :)
should i make sure i keep the war going in south america as i took out everyone before you did (pre-venezuela) and im not sure if not declaring war on ven before would change anything. great guide btw 👍
Don't have my computer anymore to test it out but I was interested to know if going down the Austria-Hungary monarchist path then pivoting to fascism was still possible in this dlc
