Thanks, last year my 4k tv broke and I stopped buying 4k movies for most of that time. Focused on getting the cheaper Blu-ray’s only recently started adding them again since I bought the OLED
@@stuartgeorge2324 very nice 👍 we had one of the early 4k Samsung curved tvs and it started smoking and smelled like fire 1 week after I just upgraded the home theater receiver I couldn’t justify a 2nd big purchase to the wife. Luckily she’s on deployment again. Picked up the tv and a region free blu-ray player so I can finally watch all those beautiful UK titles I’ve picked up by accident and now on purpose.
You have an impressive collection, completely envious lol. I dont understand why people dont crave physical media, whether its games, movies, comics, books etc.and I dont understand why the production companies dont emphasize buying their media in the physical formats. I mean, if everything is digitally downloaded, as technology marches on, the physical versions are their legacy. Great vid brother.
Thanks man not even close to the whole collection just passed 2300 movies and tv shows last week. I don’t get it either digital can and has gone away I see streaming isn’t much different than cable was unlimited channels hoping they have something you want to to watch. But every household at at least a few of their favorite movies on hand to watch anytime. My internet goes out or is throttled often plus the new issue of censorship removing lines of dialogue on digital because someone might get offended. Physical media isn’t going anywhere but everyone should at least own their favorites. Thanks for watching brother
Both great films in my opinion. I grew up with Leon and the only person I ever met that didn't like it was my Wife. I love Babylon it feels kind of artsy without being artsy, being a film maker you might get something out of it but Brian hates it lol
Enjoyed your video. I’m so tired of collectors spending half the video talking about the slipcovers more than the movies. I throw away all my slipcovers because you can fit more movies on the shelves. New subscriber
I really can’t stand slip covers I think they are a waste of time and energy. I throw away dust covers off books too. Kids destroy the slip covers anyway the only ones I keep are the hard box ones that a few companies do. I have started keeping them all in a box in case someone wanted them for movie trades. Thank you for watching and subbing hope you enjoy.
@@l.a.jewell to each their own as long as you don’t enjoy keep doing so. I do keep the premium slip covers for boutique labels like vinegar syndrome or Imprint Films.
Thank you that video is from a year ago I’ve added quite a few since then. Jumping strains into 4ks is great huge uptick in quality fully take advantage of your TV. And what a time and money saver. I was an early adopter of Blu-ray so I’ve re-bought a lot of the same movies. Luckily quite a few of them where from the early days of Blu-ray and really needed an upgrade. What is your favorite 4k that you upgraded?
I actually loathe them I prefer uniformity on the self some movies come with them some don’t, they sit in a large box tucked away in a closet. The Paramount presents, Vestron Video, Imprint and the Vinegar Syndrome are the only ones that I keep them on display. Generally if I show a movie and it still has the slip cover it’s newer and I haven’t watched it yet.
