The first time I heard the song I said this is going to win Grammy for song of the year and next year it did I knew right away
Just saw them in Jacksonville, great performance, what a talented group. Every member is an extremely talented musician. They also treat their fans amazingly
One of the most beautiful songs ever written!! Know when I hear it I think of my dad and granddaughter.
This one reminds me of my beautiful fiancé who passed away 3 years ago so of course it gets me teary eyed .
Great job guys 🙂❤
He still sounds great on this after all these years.
This a beautiful song!! Sit back and enjoy...listen to someone who sings without computer generated garbage..Haters go somewhere else..and hate on someone else!!!
Wow, wouldn't have thought a duet with these two guys would sound so good.
Incredible. 13 minutes of pure bliss. I was blown away by the realness and depth of Sammy Hagar’s interview questions. Well done.
Seeing some of Pat’s domain and private life was beyond great.
Listening to Pat’s explanation of what friendships mean to him floored me. 10000% in line with my lack of friendships.
Sam is the man! Drops of Jupiter is a beautiful song, always loved it.
Hearing Pat hit those notes singing Aerosmith's Dream On for Icon was amazing too.
Artists in their element.....just magic.
Awesome! Rock on Sammy! Love the jam sessions.
Now that she's back in the atmosphere
With drops of Jupiter in her hair
She acts like summer and walks like rain
Reminds me that there's a time to change, hey
Since the return of her stay on the moon
She listens like spring and she talks like June, hey
Hey, hey, yeah
But tell me, did you sail across the sun?
Did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded
And that Heaven is overrated?
And tell me, did you fall for a shooting star?
One without a permanent scar, and did you miss me
While you were looking for yourself out there?
Now that she's back from that soul vacation
Tracing her way through the constellation, hey, mmm
She checks out Mozart while she does Tae-Bo
Reminds me that there's a room to grow, hey, yeah
Now that she's back in the atmosphere
I'm afraid that she might think of me as
Plain ol' Jane told a story about a man
Who was too afraid to fly, so he never did land
But tell me, did the wind sweep you off your feet?
Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
And head back to the Milky Way?
And tell me, did Venus blow your mind?
Was it everything you wanted to find, and did you miss me
While you were looking for yourself out there?
Can you imagine no love, pride, deep-fried chicken
Your best friend always sticking up for you
Even when I know you're wrong?
Can you imagine no first dance, freeze-dried romance
Five hour phone conversation
The best soy latte that you ever had, and me?
But tell me, did the wind sweep you off your feet?
Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
And head back toward the Milky Way?
And tell me, did you sail across the sun?
Did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded
And that Heaven is overrated?
And tell me, did you fall for a shooting star?
One without a permanent scar, and then you miss me
While you were looking for yourself?
Na-na, na-na, na-na
Na-na, na-na, na-na, na, na
And did you finally get the chance
To dance along the light of day?
Na-na, na-na, na-na
Na-na, na-na, na-na, na, na
And did you fall for a shooting star?
Fall for a shooting star?
Na-na, na-na, na-na
Na-na, na-na, na-na, na, na
And are you lonely looking for yourself out there
That's talent! Thanks for doing that!
In a round about way he has kept his mother close to him in ways he most likely would not have had he not written this song. I read or saw an interview about how he was a struggling musician when she passed so she never got to see his fame tho certain of it, it's was ironic but her death brought about his fame. God Bless you Pat. I hope to get to the Forum in a few days to s you. If i make it will be my first concert since being wheelchair bound but i really want to see you guys. Not sure i can afford or make it but gonna try !!
Unbelievable tune.
I hope Train come back to Ireland soon.
This song will become more and more importand in this time, because there is a lot of wisdom in it.
Have a sweet memory attached. Great songs attach to time and more . Thanks
What a great view on a great vocalist and front man. I've seen Train in concert twice and they are amazing to see.
I saw Pat do a small outdoor concert in Petaluma many years ago. He was amazing!
Great song!
thanks...
Epic!!!

Sammy hagger has one of the best names.

This is quite an interesting Video! I do have one question, is Pat related to or family of Stephen Monahan? which, was a solo artist in the 1960's and if I am right became part of the tremeloes!
Never I have ever ever heard a s dad one made I for a voice way to go Paul

nice shoes, Sammy...
Train is a strange band for me. I absolutely loved My Private Nation when it dropped 20 years ago but since that time the band has completely fallen off my radar.
People ask my why I don't go to see Train anymore and Pat just said it. He is focusing all his effort marketing to young teens on the internet. No need for a drummer or a guitar player just beats and loops. No need for me to see him anymore. He fronted a great classic rock band at one time but no more. "The day the music died"
Dont forget now kids,go out and buy up some of Sammys overpriced alcohol products!!😊
Sadly Pat turned into the biggest sell out. Went from a great rock band to writing bubble gum pop music just so he could stay relevant. There's a reason every original member Train quit. The best Train album is still the first one when Pat was true to his roots.
As a true diehard Train fan I will sadly and regretfully admit you hit the nail on the head. It’s hard to even look at the band now in videos and not think of Rob Hotchkiss the Uber talented singer songwriter, Jimmy, Scott and Colin.
Personally, I don't think he became a sellout, he just became progressive!
@@kittyanderson9578 🤣
Living the woke dream?
@@texasdeplorables, not everything is political! He got woke, WTF does that mean?, he’s a musician he needs to be progressive or go hungry. Sheesh. This is the future, your president is going to jail for being misogynistic and a thief. So good luck with yourself. BYEEE💙
