  • So some of the nitty gritty on Chucks 1991 Mustang GT that I am putting together. Custom stuff takes time and energy! Sometimes there are hurdles that you must overcome and find solutions for. This video is a great example of that!

    The gas tank strap studs are the way to go. So much easier when you have to drop a tank.

    I also run solid motor mounts with zero issues

    Great job on the intercooler mounting. I've seen some pretty crappy installs. I have run solid motor mounts on several builds without issue. Like you said, never run both solid motor mounts and transmission mount. That will give you headaches on a streetable build.

    I have solid mounts and poly trans mount on the snyper car. No excessive vibration. I even have a set of those drop solid mounts sitting on the floor in my garage 🙂

    Looking great that is a lot of tedious work mocking up taking it back out readjusting reinstalling but your really smooth at the way you do it and explain it. Looking forward to the drive around your test route

    Doing the fuel system on our 85 SVO if it wasn’t for Dorman, it wouldn’t be happening! we agree with your choice. Also good job putting the sound deader in the exact same places we put ours nicely done.

    I run solid motor mounts with a rubber trans mount. Vibration is not an issue. Solid motor mounts lowered my ETs and gave me a much stronger acceleration from any speed. It also made drifting a breeze. Send it!!!

      Thanks for your comment, have to admit I'm a bit leary of the solid mounts but I trust Chris and his advice. Glad to hear that you have no vibration issues with yours.

    I’ve been binging on your videos lately and really enjoying your content. It’s great to see a fellow Canadian putting out top quality work with the wrenches as well as a camera. How did you end up in Texas ? . I’m sure the quality of cars down south has something to do with it , keep the videos coming and I’ll keep watching. Subscribed .

    That quantum fuel hanger is going to burn at the terminal where the rivets are at.

    Great build can you show or talk more about the sway bar mounted to the frame rail and not the factory location.

    it made me laugh when you said about going down the rabbit hole with the fog light bracket! I have done that a few times. The funniest one is sandblasting and painting the dash support frame! I had to do it, there was no way that I was going to put that rusty thing back in after re-dye the entire interior. And just like you said, "no one is going to see it"

      @chuckp7970 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I did basically the same, sanded and painted my dash support before I sent the car down to Chris. 😁
