I joke that at this point Odo isn't self aware of being in-love with Kira but the look on his face is like - 'WTF this is like my masturbation dreams come true!'
Odo x Kira is one of the top couplings in any TV show as MOST well developed grown characters, their arcs and mature loving relationship over the series run.
Oh yeah spread the O/K lurv to old fans & newbies Trekker or other fantasy scfi fans who would like DS9 because of it's connected story arcs serialness. I spread the love by pointing to Netflix allowing for it to be binged as needed to get past S1-2 stumbles. But start em with my playlist that takes you thru the series in less than 2hrs run.
I remember when it aired LIVE - each Odo/Kira moment we got was gold ... and they were brief scenes. But when they got together, the scenes got even better.
I just had a thought, wht if Odo left due to feeling alienated in this episode and thats what caused the bajorans to become militant in that Parallels episode of TNG. Just a theory though :P. Different universe, different Odo
